Psalms 32

1 Of David a poem how blessed! [is one who] is forgiven of transgression [is one who] is covered of sin.

١ لِدَاوُدَ. مَزْمُورٌ تَعْلِيمِيٌّ. طُوبَى لِلَّذِي غُفِرَتْ آثَامُهُ وَسُتِرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ.

2 How blessed! [is] a person [whom] not he reckons Yahweh to him iniquity and there not in spirit his [is] deceit.

٢ طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ الَّذِي لَا يَحْسِبُ لَهُ الرَّبُّ خَطِيئَةً، وَلَيْسَ فِي رُوحِهِ غِشٌّ.

3 If I kept silent they became worn out bones my in cry of distress my all the day.

٣ حِينَ سَكَتُّ عَنِ الاعْتِرَافِ بِالذَّنْبِ بَلِيَتْ عِظَامِي فِي تَأَوُّهِي النَّهَارَ كُلَّهُ،

4 For - by day and night it was heavy on me hand your it was changed juice my by [the] dry heat of summer (Selah)

٤ فَقَدْ كَانَتْ يَدُكَ ثَقِيلَةً عَلَيَّ نَهَاراً وَلَيْلاً، حَتَّى تَحَوَّلَتْ نَضَارَتِي إِلَى جَفَافِ حَرِّ الصَّيْفِ

5 Sin my I made known to you and iniquity my not I covered I said I will confess on transgressions my to Yahweh and you you forgave [the] guilt of sin my (Selah)

٥ أَعْتَرِفُ لَكَ بِخَطِيئَتِي، وَلَا أَكْتُمُ إِثْمِي. قُلْتُ: أَعْتَرِفُ لِلرَّبِّ بِمَعَاصِيَّ، حَقّاً صَفَحْتَ عَنْ إِثْمِ خَطِيئَتِي

6 On this let him pray every faithful [person] - to you to a time of finding certainly to a flood of waters many to him not they will reach.

٦ لِهَذَا لِيَعْتَرِفْ لَكَ كُلُّ تَقِيٍّ بِخَطَايَاهُ وَقْتَمَا يَجِدُكَ فلَا تَبْلُغَ إِلَيْهِ سُيُولُ التَّجَارِبِ الطَّامِيَةِ.

7 You - [are] a hiding place of me from distress you will preserve me shouts of deliverance; [surely] you will surround me (Selah)

٧ أَنْتَ سِتْرٌ لِي، فِي الضِّيقِ تَحْرُسُنِي. بِتَرَانِيمِ بَهْجَةِ النَّجَاةِ تُطَوِّقُنِي.

8 I will instruct you - and I will teach you [the] way which you will go I will counsel [you] [will be] on you eye my.

٨ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: أُعَلِّمُكَ وَأُرْشِدُكَ الطَّرِيقَ الَّتِي تَسْلُكُهَا. أَنْصَحُكَ. عَيْنِي تَرْعَاكَ.

9 May not you be - like a horse like a mule [which] there not [is] understanding with bridle and halter trapping[s] its to restrain not to draw near to you.

٩ لَا تَكُونُوا بِلَا عَقْلٍ كَالْحِصَانِ وَالْبَغْلِ؛ الَّذِي لَا يُطِيعُ إلّا إذَا ضُبِطَ بِاللِّجَامِ وَقُيِّدَ بِالْحَبْلِ.

10 Many pains [belong] to wicked [person] and the [one who] trusts in Yahweh covenant loyalty it will surround him.

١٠ كَثِيرَةٌ هِيَ أَوْجَاعُ الأَشْرَارِ. أَمَّا الْوَاثِقُ بِالرَّبِّ فَالرَّحْمَةُ تُحِيطُ بِهِ.

11 Rejoice in Yahweh and be glad O righteous [people] and shout for joy O all [people] upright of heart.

١١ افْرَحُوا بِالرَّبِّ أَيُّهَا الأَبْرَارُ وَابْتَهِجُوا. اهْتِفُوا يَا جَمِيعَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِي الْقُلُوبِ.
