Psalms 3
1 A psalm of David when fled he from before - Absalom son his. O Yahweh how! they are many opponents my many [people] [are] rising up on me.
| מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד בְּבׇרְחוֹ מִפְּנֵי ׀ אַבְשָׁלוֹם בְּנֽוֹ׃ יְהֹוָה מָה־רַבּוּ צָרָי רַבִּים קָמִים עָלָֽי׃ |
2 Many [people] [are] saying of self my there not [is] deliverance for him in God (Selah)
| רַבִּים אֹמְרִים לְנַפְשִׁי אֵין יְֽשׁוּעָתָה לּוֹ בֵאלֹהִים סֶֽלָה׃ |
3 And you O Yahweh [are] a shield behind me honor my and [the one who] lifts up head my.
| וְאַתָּה יְהֹוָה מָגֵן בַּעֲדִי כְּבוֹדִי וּמֵרִים רֹאשִֽׁי׃ |
4 Voice my to Yahweh I called out and he answered me from [the] mountain of holiness his (Selah)
| קוֹלִי אֶל־יְהֹוָה אֶקְרָא וַיַּעֲנֵנִי מֵהַר קׇדְשׁוֹ סֶֽלָה׃ |
5 I I lay down and I slept! I awoke for Yahweh he sustains me.
| אֲנִי שָׁכַבְתִּי וָאִישָׁנָה הֱקִיצוֹתִי כִּי יְהֹוָה יִסְמְכֵֽנִי׃ |
6 Not I will be afraid from ten thousands of people who all around they have taken a stand on me.
| לֹֽא־אִירָא מֵרִבְבוֹת עָם אֲשֶׁר סָבִיב שָׁתוּ עָלָֽי׃ |
7 Arise! O Yahweh - save me O God my for you have struck all enemies my jaw [the] teeth of wicked [people] you have broken.
| קוּמָה יְהֹוָה ׀ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי אֱלֹהַי כִּֽי־הִכִּיתָ אֶת־כׇּל־אֹיְבַי לֶחִי שִׁנֵּי רְשָׁעִים שִׁבַּֽרְתָּ׃ |
8 [belongs] to Yahweh deliverance [is] towards people your blessing your (Selah)
| לַֽיהֹוָה הַיְשׁוּעָה עַֽל־עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶךָ סֶּֽלָה׃ |
