Psalms 29

1 A psalm of David ascribe to Yahweh O sons of gods ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.

Dávid zsoltára. Adjatok az Úrnak, ti fejedelmeknek fiai, adjatok az Úrnak tiszteletet és dicséretet!

2 Ascribe to Yahweh [the] glory of name his bow down to Yahweh in adornment of holiness.

Adjátok az Úrnak neve tiszteletét, imádjátok az Urat szent ékességben.

3 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] over the waters [the] God of glory he thunders Yahweh [is] over waters many.

Az Úr szava zeng a vizek fölött, a dicsőség Istene mennydörög, az Úr ott van a nagy vizek felett.

4 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] with strength [the] voice of Yahweh [is] with majesty.

Az Úr szava erős; az Úr szava fenséges.

5 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] breaking cedars and he broke in pieces Yahweh [the] cedars of Lebanon.

Az Úr szava czédrusokat tördel, összetöri az Úr a Libánon czédrusait is.

6 And he made skip them like a calf Lebanon and Sirion like a young one of wild oxen.

És ugrándoztatja azokat, mint a borjút, a Libánont és a Szirjónt, mint a bivalyfiat.

7 [the] voice of Yahweh [is] striking flames of fire.

Az Úr szava tűzlángokat szór.

8 [the] voice of Yahweh it causes to tremble [the] wilderness he causes to tremble Yahweh [the] wilderness of Kadesh.

Az Úr szava megrengeti a pusztát, megrengeti az Úr Kádesnek pusztáját.

9 [the] voice of Yahweh - it causes labor pains to does and it stripped bare forests and in temple his all of it [is] saying glory.

Az Úr szava megborjaztatja a nőstény szarvasokat, lehántja az erdőket, és az ő hajlékában mindene azt mondja: dicső!

10 Yahweh to the flood he sat and he sat Yahweh king for ever.

Az Úr trónolt az özönvíz felett; így trónol az Úr, mint király, mindörökké.

11 Yahweh strength to people his he will give Yahweh - he will bless people his with peace.

Az Úr ad erőt népének, az Úr megáldja népét békességgel.
