Psalms 28

1 Of David to you O Yahweh - I call out O rock my may not you be deaf from me lest you should be silent from me and I will be equal with [those who] go down [the] pit.

Pesem Davidova. Tebe, Gospod, kličem, skala moja; ne delaj se gluhega obrnen od mene, da ne postanem, ako bodeš nem, od mene obrnen, podoben njim, ki v grob gredó.

2 Hear [the] sound of supplications my when cry for help I to you when lift up I hands my to [the] innermost room of holiness your.

Čuj prošenj mojih glas, ko vpijem k tebi; ko molím roke svoje proti hramu tvoje svetosti.

3 May not you drag away me with wicked [people] and with [those who] do wickedness [who] speak peace with neighbors their and evil [is] in heart their.

Ne potegni me med hudobne in njé, ki delajo krivico; ki govoré mir z bližnjimi svojimi, hudobija pa biva v njih srci.

4 Requite to them according to work their and according to [the] wickedness of deeds their according to [the] work of hands their requite to them repay recompense their to them.

Daj jim po njih delu, in po hudobnosti njih dejanj; po delu njih rók jim daj, povrni jim povračilo svoje.

5 For not they consider [the] deeds of Yahweh and to [the] work of hands his he will tear down them and not he will rebuild them.

Ker ne menijo se za dela Gospodova, in za stvarjenje rok njegovih: podere jih, a postavi jih ne.

6 [be] blessed Yahweh for he has heard [the] sound of supplications my.

Blagoslovljen Gospod, ker je uslišal prošenj mojih glas;

7 Yahweh - [is] strength my and shield my in him it has trusted heart my and I was helped and it exulted heart my and from song my I will give thanks to him.

Gospod moč moja in ščit moj; njemu zaupa srce moje, in pomaga mi; zatorej se raduje srce moje, da ga slavim s pesmijo svojo.

8 Yahweh [is] strength of them and [is] [the] refuge of [the] salvation of anointed his he.

Gospod je moč moja, in preblaga moč je Maziljenec njegov.

9 Save! - people your and bless inheritance your and shepherd them and carry them until perpetuity.

Reši ljudstvo svoje, in blagoslovi svojo last; in pasi jih ter povzdigni jih na veke.
