Psalms 27
1 Of David - Yahweh - [is] light my and salvation my from whom? will I be afraid Yahweh [is] [the] refuge of life my from whom? will I be in dread.
Davidov. Jahve mi je svjetlost i spasenje: koga da se bojim? Jahve je štit života moga: pred kime da strepim?
2 When drew near on me - evil-doers to devour flesh my opponents my and enemies my to me they they stumbled and they fell.
Kad navale na me zlotvori da mi tijelo žderu, protivnici moji i dušmani, oni posrću i padaju.
3 Though it will encamp on me - a camp not it will fear heart my though it will arise on me warfare in this I [will be] trusting.
Nek' se vojska protiv mene utabori, srce se moje ne boji; nek' i rat plane protiv mene, i tada pun sam pouzdanja.
4 One [thing] - I have asked from with Yahweh it I will seek to dwell I in [the] house of Yahweh all [the] days of life my to look on [the] kindness of Yahweh and to inquire in temple his.
Za jedno molim Jahvu, samo to ja tražim: da živim u Domu Jahvinu sve dane života svoga, da uživam milinu Jahvinu i Dom njegov gledam.
5 For he will conceal me - in refuge his in a day of trouble he will hide me in [the] hiding place of tent his on a rock he will raise up me.
U sjenici svojoj on me zaklanja u dan kobni; skriva me u skrovištu Šatora svoga, na hridinu on me uzdiže.
6 And now it will rise head my above enemies my around me and I will sacrifice in tent his sacrifices of a shout of joy I will sing and I will sing praises to Yahweh.
I sada izdižem glavu iznad dušmana oko sebe. U njegovu ću Šatoru prinositi žrtve radosne, Jahvi ću pjevat' i klicati.
7 Hear O Yahweh voice my I call out and show favor to me and answer me.
Slušaj, o Jahve, glas moga vapaja, milostiv mi budi, usliši me!
8 Of you - it has said heart my seek face my face your O Yahweh I will seek.
Moje mi srce govori: “Traži lice njegovo!” Da, lice tvoje, o Jahve, ja tražim.
9 May not you hide face your - from me may not you turn aside in anger servant your help my you have been may not you abandon me and may not you forsake me O God of salvation my.
Ne skrivaj lica svoga od mene. Ne odbij u gnjevu slugu svoga! Ti, Pomoći moja, nemoj me odbaciti! I ne ostavi me, Bože, Spasitelju moj!
10 For father my and mother my they have forsaken me and Yahweh he will receive me.
Ako me otac i mati ostave, Jahve će me primiti.
11 Teach me O Yahweh way your and lead me in a path of level ground on account of enemies my.
Nauči me, Jahve, putu svojemu, ravnom me stazom povedi poradi protivnika mojih.
12 May not you give me in [the] desire of opponents my for they have arisen on me witnesses of falsehood and a witness of violence.
Bijesu dušmana mojih ne predaj me, jer ustadoše na mene svjedoci lažni koji dašću nasiljem.
13 If not I had believed to look on [the] goodness of Yahweh in [the] land of living [people].
Vjerujem da ću uživati dobra Jahvina u zemlji živih.
14 Wait to Yahweh be strong so may it show strength heart your and wait to Yahweh.
U Jahvu se uzdaj, ojunači se, čvrsto nek' bude srce tvoje: u Jahvu se uzdaj!
