Psalms 24

1 Of David a psalm [belongs] to Yahweh the earth and what fills it [the] world and [those who] dwell in it.

Av David; en psalm. Jorden är HERRENS och allt vad därpå är, jordens krets och de som bo därpå.

2 For he on [the] seas he founded it and on [the] rivers he established it.

Ty han är den som har lagt hennes grund på haven, den som på strömmarna har berett henne fäste.

3 Who? will he go up on [the] mountain of Yahweh and who? will he stand in [the] place of holiness his.

Vem får gå upp på HERRENS berg, och vem får träda in i hans helgedom?

4 A [person] innocent of hands and a [person] pure of heart who - not he has lifted up to falsehood desire my and not he has sworn an oath to deceit.

Den som har oskyldiga händer och rent hjärta, den som icke vänder sin själ till lögn och den som icke svär falskt.

5 He will lift up blessing from with Yahweh and righteousness from [the] God of salvation his.

Han skall undfå välsignelse av HERREN och rättfärdighet av sin frälsnings Gud.

6 This [is] [the] generation of ([those who] seek him *Q(k)*) [those who] seek face your O Jacob (Selah)

Sådant är det släkte som frågar efter honom; de som söka ditt ansikte, de äro Jakobs barn. (Sela)

7 Lift up O gates - heads your and be lifted up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.

Höjen, I portar, edra huvuden, höjen eder, I eviga dörrar, för att ärans konung må draga därin.

8 Who? [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh strong and mighty Yahweh mighty of battle.

Vem är då ärans konung? Det är HERREN, stark och väldig, HERREN, väldig i strid.

9 Lift up O gates - heads your and lift up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.

Höjen, I portar, edra huvuden, höjen dem, I eviga dörrar, för att ärans konung må draga därin.

10 Who? that [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh of hosts he [is] [the] king of glory (Selah)

Vem är då denne ärans konung? Det är HERREN Sebaot; han är ärans konung. (Sela)
