Psalms 24

1 Of David a psalm [belongs] to Yahweh the earth and what fills it [the] world and [those who] dwell in it.

Zaburi ya Daudi. Dunia ni mali ya Bwana, na vyote vilivyomo ndani yake, ulimwengu, na wote waishio ndani yake,

2 For he on [the] seas he founded it and on [the] rivers he established it.

maana aliiwekea misingi yake baharini na kuifanya imara juu ya maji.

3 Who? will he go up on [the] mountain of Yahweh and who? will he stand in [the] place of holiness his.

Nani awezaye kuupanda mlima wa Bwana? Ni nani awezaye kusimama patakatifu pake?

4 A [person] innocent of hands and a [person] pure of heart who - not he has lifted up to falsehood desire my and not he has sworn an oath to deceit.

Ni yule mwenye mikono safi na moyo mweupe, yule ambaye hakuinulia sanamu nafsi yake au kuapa kwa kitu cha uongo.

5 He will lift up blessing from with Yahweh and righteousness from [the] God of salvation his.

Huyo atapokea baraka kutoka kwa Bwana, na hukumu ya haki kutoka kwa Mungu Mwokozi wake.

6 This [is] [the] generation of ([those who] seek him *Q(k)*) [those who] seek face your O Jacob (Selah)

Hiki ndicho kizazi cha wale wamtafutao, wale wautafutao uso wako, Ee Mungu wa Yakobo.

7 Lift up O gates - heads your and be lifted up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.

Inueni vichwa vyenu, enyi malango, inukeni enyi milango ya kale, ili mfalme wa utukufu apate kuingia.

8 Who? [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh strong and mighty Yahweh mighty of battle.

Ni nani huyu Mfalme wa utukufu? Ni Bwana aliye na nguvu na uweza, ni Bwana aliye hodari katika vita.

9 Lift up O gates - heads your and lift up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.

Inueni vichwa vyenu, enyi malango, viinueni juu enyi milango ya kale, ili Mfalme wa utukufu apate kuingia.

10 Who? that [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh of hosts he [is] [the] king of glory (Selah)

Ni nani yeye, huyu Mfalme wa utukufu? Ni Bwana Mwenye Nguvu Zote; yeye ndiye Mfalme wa utukufu.
