< Psalms 24 >
1 Of David a psalm [belongs] to Yahweh the earth and what fills it [the] world and [those who] dwell in it.
David’s. A Melody. To Yahweh, belongeth, The earth and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;
2 For he on [the] seas he founded it and on [the] rivers he established it.
For, he, upon the seas, hath founded it, and upon the currents, doth make it firm.
3 Who? will he go up on [the] mountain of Yahweh and who? will he stand in [the] place of holiness his.
Who shall ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who shall stand in his holy place?
4 A [person] innocent of hands and a [person] pure of heart who - not he has lifted up to falsehood desire my and not he has sworn an oath to deceit.
The clean of hands, and pure of heart, —who hath not uplifted, to falsehood, his soul, nor sworn deceitfully,
5 He will lift up blessing from with Yahweh and righteousness from [the] God of salvation his.
Shall bear away a blessing from Yahweh, and righteousness, from his delivering God.
6 This [is] [the] generation of ([those who] seek him *Q(k)*) [those who] seek face your O Jacob (Selah)
This, is the generation of them who inquire of him, who seek thy face, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
7 Lift up O gates - heads your and be lifted up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.
Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, and lift yourselves up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.
8 Who? [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh strong and mighty Yahweh mighty of battle.
Who is the king of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty, Yahweh, mighty in war.
9 Lift up O gates - heads your and lift up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.
Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, yea lift [them] up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.
10 Who? that [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh of hosts he [is] [the] king of glory (Selah)
Who then is the king of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He, is the king of glory. (Selah)
