Psalms 20

1 To the choirmaster a psalm of David. May he answer you Yahweh in a day of trouble may it set on high you [the] name of - [the] God of Jacob.

För sångmästaren; en psalm av David.

2 May he send help your from [the] sanctuary and from Zion may he support you.

HERREN bönhöre dig på nödens dag, Jakobs Guds namn beskydde dig.

3 May he remember all offerings your and burnt offering your may he accept! (Selah)

Han sände dig hjälp från helgedomen, och stödje dig från Sion.

4 May he give to you according to heart your and every plan your may he fulfill.

Han tänke på alla dina spisoffer och upptage med välbehag ditt brännoffer. (Sela)

5 We will shout for joy - at victory your and in [the] name of God our we will raise a banner may he fulfill Yahweh all requests your.

Han give dig vad ditt hjärta begär och fullborde alla dina rådslag.

6 Now I know that he delivers - Yahweh anointed his he answers him from [the] heavens of holiness his with [the] mighty deeds of salvation of right [hand] his.

Må vi få jubla över din seger och i vår Guds namn resa upp baneret; HERREN uppfylle alla dina böner.

7 These chariotry and these horses and we - [the] name of Yahweh God our we bring to remembrance.

Nu vet jag att HERREN giver seger åt sin smorde; han svarar honom från sin heliga himmel, genom väldiga gärningar giver hans högra hand seger.

8 They they bow down and they fall and we we arise and we have kept upright.

De andra prisa vagnar, de prisa hästar, men vi prisa HERRENS, vår Guds, namn.

9 O Yahweh save! the king may he answer us on [the] day call out we.

De sjunka ned och falla, men vi resa oss upp och bliva beståndande. HERRE, giv seger; ja, konungen svare oss på den tid då vi ropa.
