Psalms 20

1 To the choirmaster a psalm of David. May he answer you Yahweh in a day of trouble may it set on high you [the] name of - [the] God of Jacob.

Al la ĥorestro. Psalmo de David. La Eternulo aŭskultu vin en tago de mizero; Defendu vin la nomo de Dio de Jakob.

2 May he send help your from [the] sanctuary and from Zion may he support you.

Li sendu al vi helpon el la sanktejo, Kaj el Cion Li vin fortigu.

3 May he remember all offerings your and burnt offering your may he accept! (Selah)

Li rememoru ĉiujn viajn oferdonojn, Kaj via brulofero aperu grasa antaŭ Li. (Sela)

4 May he give to you according to heart your and every plan your may he fulfill.

Li donu al vi tion, kion deziras via koro; Kaj ĉiujn viajn intencojn Li plenumu.

5 We will shout for joy - at victory your and in [the] name of God our we will raise a banner may he fulfill Yahweh all requests your.

Ni estos gajaj pro Via venko, Kaj pro la nomo de nia Dio ni levos standardon. La Eternulo plenumu ĉiujn viajn petojn.

6 Now I know that he delivers - Yahweh anointed his he answers him from [the] heavens of holiness his with [the] mighty deeds of salvation of right [hand] his.

Nun mi ekscias, ke la Eternulo savas Sian sanktoleiton; Li aŭskultas lin el Sia sankta ĉielo, Forte savas lin per Sia dekstra mano.

7 These chariotry and these horses and we - [the] name of Yahweh God our we bring to remembrance.

Unuj fidas veturilojn, aliaj ĉevalojn; Sed ni alvokas la nomon de la Eternulo, nia Dio.

8 They they bow down and they fall and we we arise and we have kept upright.

Ili ŝanceliĝas kaj falas, Kaj ni staras kaj tenas nin forte.

9 O Yahweh save! the king may he answer us on [the] day call out we.

Ho Eternulo, savu; La Reĝo respondu al ni, kiam ni vokas al Li.
