Psalms 2
1 Why? do they plot nations and peoples do they devise? vanity.
| چرا قومها شورش می‌کنند؟ چرا ملتها بی‌جهت توطئه می‌چینند؟ |
2 They take their stand - [the] kings of [the] earth and rulers they seat themselves together on Yahweh and on anointed his.
| پادشاهان جهان صف‌آرایی کرده‌اند و رهبران ممالک با هم مشورت می‌کنند بر ضد خداوند و مسیح او. |
3 Let us tear off fetters their and let us throw away from us ropes their.
| آنها می‌گویند: «بیایید زنجیرها را پاره کنیم و خود را از قید اسارت آزاد سازیم!» |
4 [the one who] sits In the heavens he laughs [the] Lord he mocks them.
| اما خداوند که بر تخت خود در آسمان نشسته، به نقشه‌های آنان می‌خندد. |
5 Then he speaks to them in anger his and in fury his he terrifies them.
| سپس با خشم و غضب آنان را توبیخ می‌کند و به وحشت می‌اندازد. |
6 And I I have installed king my on Zion [the] mountain of holiness my.
| خداوند می‌فرماید: «من پادشاه خود را در اورشلیم، بر کوه مقدّس خود، بر تخت سلطنت نشانده‌ام!» |
7 I will recount concerning [the] decree of Yahweh he said to me [are] son my you I this day I have begotten you.
| پادشاه می‌گوید: «من فرمان خداوند را اعلام خواهم کرد. او به من فرموده است:”تو پسر من هستی؛ امروز من پدر تو شده‌ام. |
8 Ask from me so let me make nations inheritance your and possession your [the] ends of [the] earth.
| از من درخواست کن و من همهٔ قومها را به عنوان میراث به تو خواهم بخشید و سراسر دنیا را ملک تو خواهم ساخت. |
9 You will break them with a rod of iron like a vessel of a potter you will smash them.
| تو با عصای آهنین بر آنها حکومت خواهی کرد و آنها را مانند ظروف گلی خرد خواهی نمود.“» |
10 And therefore O kings act prudently let yourselves be instructed O rulers of [the] earth.
| بنابراین، ای پادشاهان، گوش دهید و ای رهبران جهان توجه نمایید! |
11 Serve Yahweh with fear and rejoice with trembling.
| با ترس و احترام خداوند را عبادت کنید؛ |
12 Kiss [the] son lest he should be angry - and you may perish way if it burns like a little anger his how blessed! [are] all [those who] seek refuge in him.
| پیش از اینکه پسرش خشمگین شود و شما را نابود کند، به پاهایش بیفتید و آنها را بوسه زنید، زیرا خشم او ممکن است هر لحظه افروخته شود. خوشا به حال همهٔ کسانی که به او پناه می‌برند. |
