Psalms 18
1 To the choirmaster - of [the] servant of Yahweh of David who he spoke - to Yahweh [the] words of the song this on [the] day [when] he delivered Yahweh him from [the] hand of all enemies his and from [the] hand of Saul. And he said I love you O Yahweh strength my.
En Psalm, till att föresjunga, Davids, Herrans tjenares; hvilken denna visos ord talade till Herran, på den tid Herren honom hulpit hade ifrå hans fiendars hand, och ifrå Sauls hand; Och sade: Hjerteliga, kär hafver jag dig, Herre, min starkhet;
2 Yahweh - [is] rock my and stronghold my and deliverer my God my [is] rock my [whom] I take refuge in him shield my and [the] horn of salvation my refuge my.
Herre, min klippa, min borg, min förlossare; min Gud, min tröst, den jag mig vid håller; min sköld, och min salighets horn, och mitt beskydd.
3 [the one] to be praised I call out to Yahweh and from enemies my I am delivered.
Jag vill lofva och åkalla Herren; så blifver jag ifrå mina ovänner förlöst.
4 They encompassed me [the] cords of death and [the] torrents of worthlessness they overwhelmed me.
Ty dödsens band hafva, omfattat mig, och Belials bäcker förskräckt mig.
Helvetes band hafva omfattat mig, och dödsens snaror öfverfallit mig. (Sheol h7585)
6 When it was distress to me - I called out to Yahweh and to God my I cried for help he heard from temple his voice my and cry for help my before him - it came in ears his.
När jag är i ångest, så åkallar jag Herran, och ropar till min Gud; så hörer han mina röst af sitt tempel, och mitt rop kommer för honom till hans öron.
7 And it shook and it quaked - the earth and [the] foundations of [the] mountains they trembled and they shook back and forth for it burned to him.
Jorden bäfvade och gaf sig, och bergens grundvalar rördes och bäfvade, då han vred var.
8 It went up smoke - in nose his and fire from mouth his it consumed coals they burned from him.
Damb gick upp af hans näso, och förtärande eld af hans mun; så att det ljungade deraf.
9 And he bent down [the] heavens and he came down and thick darkness [was] under feet his.
Han böjde himmelen, och for neder, och mörker var under hans fötter.
10 And he rode on a cherub and he flew and he soared on [the] wings of [the] wind.
Och han för uppå Cherub, och flög; han sväfde på vädrens vingar.
11 He made darkness - covering his around him canopy his darkness of waters dark clouds of clouds.
Hans tjäll omkring honom var mörker, och svart tjockt moln, der han inne fördold var.
12 From [the] brightness before him dark clouds his they passed on hail and coals of fire.
Af skenet för honom delte sig skyn, med hagel och ljungande.
13 And he thundered in the heavens - Yahweh and [the] Most High he gave forth voice his hail and coals of fire.
Och Herren dundrade i himmelen; och den Högste lät sitt dunder ut, med hagel och ljungande.
14 And he sent out arrows his and he scattered them and lightning flashes he shot and he routed them.
Han sköt sina skott, och förströdde dem; han lät fast ljunga, och förskräckte dem.
15 And they appeared - channels of water and they were uncovered [the] foundations of [the] world from rebuke your O Yahweh from [the] breath of [the] breath of nostril[s] your.
Der såg man vattuådrorna; och jordenes grund vardt blottad, Herre, af ditt straff, af dine näsos anda och blåst.
16 He stretched out from a high place he took hold of me he drew me from waters many.
Han sände utaf höjdene, och hemtade mig; och drog mig utu stor vatten.
17 He rescued me from enemy my strong and from [those who] hate me for they were [too] strong for me.
Han halp mig ifrå mina starka fiendar; ifrå mina hatare, som mig för mägtige voro;
18 They confronted me in [the] day of calamity my and he became Yahweh a support of me.
De mig öfverföllo i mins motgångs tid; och Herren vardt min tröst.
19 And he brought out me to roomy place he rescued me for he delighted in me.
Och han förde mig ut på rymdena; han tog mig derut; ty han hade lust till mig.
20 He has dealt with me Yahweh according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my he has repaid to me.
Herren gör väl emot mig, efter mina rättfärdighet; han vedergäller mig efter mina händers renhet.
21 For I have kept [the] ways of Yahweh and not I have acted wickedly from God my.
Ty jag håller Herrans vägar, och är icke ogudaktig emot min Gud.
22 For all judgments his [have been] to before me and statutes his not I have turned aside from me.
Ty alla hans rätter hafver jag för ögon, och hans bud kastar jag icke ifrå mig.
23 And I have been blameless with him and I have kept myself from iniquity my.
Men jag; är utan vank för honom, och bevarar mig för min synd.
24 And he has repaid Yahweh to me according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my to before eyes his.
Derföre vedergäller mig Herren, efter mina rättfärdighet; efter mina händers renhet för hans ögon.
25 With a faithful [person] you show yourself faithful with a man blameless you show yourself blameless.
Med de heliga äst du helig; och med de fromma, äst du from;
26 With [one who] purifies himself you show yourself pure and with a perverse [person] you show yourself twisted.
Och med de rena äst du ren; och vid de afvoga ställer du dig afvog.
27 For you a people afflicted you save and eyes uplifted you bring low.
Ty du hjelper det elända folket, och de höga ögon förnedrar du.
28 For you you light lamp my Yahweh God my he lightens darkness my.
Ty du upplyser mina lykto; Herren, min Gud, gör mitt mörker ljust.
29 For by you I run a marauding band and by God my I leap over a wall.
Ty med dig kan jag nederlägga krigsfolk, och med minom Gud öfver muren springa.
30 God [is] blameless way his [the] word of Yahweh [is] refined [is] a shield he for all - those [who] take refuge in him.
Guds vägar äro utan vank; Herrans tal äro genomluttrad; han är en sköld allom dem som trösta uppå honom.
31 For who? [is] God except Yahweh and who? [is] a rock except God our.
Ty ho är en Gud, utan Herren; eller en starker, utan vår Gud?
32 God [is] the [one who] has girded me strength and he has made blameless way my.
Gud omgjordar mig med kraft, och gör mina vägar utan vank.
33 [he has] made Feet my like does and on high places my he has made stand firm me.
Han gör mina fötter lika som hjortars, och sätter mig på mina höjder.
34 [he has] trained Hands my for battle and it will stretch a bow of bronze arms my.
Han lärer mina hand strida, och min arm spänna kopparbågan.
35 And you have given to me [the] shield of salvation your and right [hand] your it has supported me and humility your you have made great me.
Och du gifver mig dins salighets sköld, och din högra hand stärker mig; och när du förnedrar mig, gör du mig storan.
36 You have enlarged step[s] my under me and not they have slipped ankles my.
Du gör under mig rum till att gå, att mina fötter icke skola slinta.
37 I pursued enemies my and I overtook them and not I returned until destroyed them.
Jag vill jaga efter mina fiendar, och gripa dem; och intet omvända, tilldess jag hafver nederlagt dem.
38 I shattered them and not they were able [surely] to rise they fell under feet my.
Jag skall slå dem, och de skola icke kunna mig emotstå; de måste falla under mina fötter.
39 And you girded me strength for the battle you made bow down [those who] rose against me under me.
Du kan rusta mig med starkhet till strid; du kan kasta dem under mig, som sig emot mig sätta.
40 And enemies my you gave to me [the] neck and [those who] hated me I destroyed them.
Du gifver mig mina fiendar på flyktena, att jag må förstöra mina hatare.
41 They cried for help and there not [was] a deliverer to Yahweh and not he answered them.
De ropa, men der är ingen hjelpare: till Herran, men han svarar dem intet.
42 And I crushed them like dust on [the] face of [the] wind like [the] mud of [the] streets I poured out them.
Jag skall sönderstöta dem som stoft för vädret; jag skall bortkasta dem såsom träck på gatomen.
43 You delivered me from [the] strivings of a people you appointed me to [the] head of nations a people [which] not I knew they serve me.
Du hjelper mig ifrå det trätosamma folket, och gör mig till ett hufvud ibland Hedningarna; ett folk, som jag intet kände, tjenar mig.
44 To [the] hearing of an ear they become obedient to me sons of foreignness they cringe to me.
Det hörer mig med hörsam öron; men de främmande barn förneka mig.
45 Sons of foreignness they wither and they may come trembling from strongholds their.
De främmande barn försmäkta, och brytas i sina bojor.
46 [is] living Yahweh and [be] blessed rock my and may he be exalted [the] God of salvation my.
Herren lefver, och lofvad vare min tröst; och mins salighets Gud varde upphöjd.
47 God [is] the [one who] has given vengeance to me and he has subdued peoples under me.
Gud, som mig hämnd gifver, och tvingar folken under mig;
48 [he has] delivered Me from enemies my also more than [those who] rose against me you have exalted me from a man of violence you have rescued me.
Den mig hjelper ifrå mina fiendar, och upphöjer mig ifrå dem, som sätta sig emot mig; du hjelper mig ifrå de vrånga.
49 There-fore - I will give thanks to you among the nations - O Yahweh and to name your I will sing praises.
Derföre vill jag tacka dig, Herre, ibland Hedningarna, och lofsjunga dino Namne;
50 ([he is] making great *Q(k)*) [the] victories of King his and [he is] doing covenant loyalty - to anointed his to David and to offspring his until perpetuity.
Den sinom Konung stor salighet bevisar, och gör sinom smorda godt; David, och hans säd evinnerliga.
