Psalms 18
1 To the choirmaster - of [the] servant of Yahweh of David who he spoke - to Yahweh [the] words of the song this on [the] day [when] he delivered Yahweh him from [the] hand of all enemies his and from [the] hand of Saul. And he said I love you O Yahweh strength my.
Al maestro del coro. Di Davide, servo del Signore, che rivolse al Signore le parole di questo canto, quando il Signore lo liberò dal potere di tutti i suoi nemici, Ti amo, Signore, mia forza,
2 Yahweh - [is] rock my and stronghold my and deliverer my God my [is] rock my [whom] I take refuge in him shield my and [the] horn of salvation my refuge my.
Signore, mia roccia, mia fortezza, mio liberatore; mio Dio, mia rupe, in cui trovo riparo; mio scudo e baluardo, mia potente salvezza.
3 [the one] to be praised I call out to Yahweh and from enemies my I am delivered.
Invoco il Signore, degno di lode, e sarò salvato dai miei nemici.
4 They encompassed me [the] cords of death and [the] torrents of worthlessness they overwhelmed me.
Mi circondavano flutti di morte, mi travolgevano torrenti impetuosi;
gia mi avvolgevano i lacci degli inferi, gia mi stringevano agguati mortali. (Sheol h7585)
6 When it was distress to me - I called out to Yahweh and to God my I cried for help he heard from temple his voice my and cry for help my before him - it came in ears his.
Nel mio affanno invocai il Signore, nell'angoscia gridai al mio Dio: dal suo tempio ascoltò la mia voce, al suo orecchio pervenne il mio grido.
7 And it shook and it quaked - the earth and [the] foundations of [the] mountains they trembled and they shook back and forth for it burned to him.
La terra tremò e si scosse; vacillarono le fondamenta dei monti, si scossero perché egli era sdegnato.
8 It went up smoke - in nose his and fire from mouth his it consumed coals they burned from him.
Dalle sue narici saliva fumo, dalla sua bocca un fuoco divorante; da lui sprizzavano carboni ardenti.
9 And he bent down [the] heavens and he came down and thick darkness [was] under feet his.
Abbassò i cieli e discese, fosca caligine sotto i suoi piedi.
10 And he rode on a cherub and he flew and he soared on [the] wings of [the] wind.
Cavalcava un cherubino e volava, si librava sulle ali del vento.
11 He made darkness - covering his around him canopy his darkness of waters dark clouds of clouds.
Si avvolgeva di tenebre come di velo, acque oscure e dense nubi lo coprivano.
12 From [the] brightness before him dark clouds his they passed on hail and coals of fire.
Davanti al suo fulgore si dissipavano le nubi con grandine e carboni ardenti.
13 And he thundered in the heavens - Yahweh and [the] Most High he gave forth voice his hail and coals of fire.
Il Signore tuonò dal cielo, l'Altissimo fece udire la sua voce: grandine e carboni ardenti.
14 And he sent out arrows his and he scattered them and lightning flashes he shot and he routed them.
Scagliò saette e li disperse, fulminò con folgori e li sconfisse.
15 And they appeared - channels of water and they were uncovered [the] foundations of [the] world from rebuke your O Yahweh from [the] breath of [the] breath of nostril[s] your.
Allora apparve il fondo del mare, si scoprirono le fondamenta del mondo, per la tua minaccia, Signore, per lo spirare del tuo furore.
16 He stretched out from a high place he took hold of me he drew me from waters many.
Stese la mano dall'alto e mi prese, mi sollevò dalle grandi acque,
17 He rescued me from enemy my strong and from [those who] hate me for they were [too] strong for me.
mi liberò da nemici potenti, da coloro che mi odiavano ed eran più forti di me.
18 They confronted me in [the] day of calamity my and he became Yahweh a support of me.
Mi assalirono nel giorno di sventura, ma il Signore fu mio sostegno;
19 And he brought out me to roomy place he rescued me for he delighted in me.
mi portò al largo, mi liberò perché mi vuol bene.
20 He has dealt with me Yahweh according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my he has repaid to me.
Il Signore mi tratta secondo la mia giustizia, mi ripaga secondo l'innocenza delle mie mani;
21 For I have kept [the] ways of Yahweh and not I have acted wickedly from God my.
perché ho custodito le vie del Signore, non ho abbandonato empiamente il mio Dio.
22 For all judgments his [have been] to before me and statutes his not I have turned aside from me.
I suoi giudizi mi stanno tutti davanti, non ho respinto da me la sua legge;
23 And I have been blameless with him and I have kept myself from iniquity my.
ma integro sono stato con lui e mi sono guardato dalla colpa.
24 And he has repaid Yahweh to me according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my to before eyes his.
Il Signore mi rende secondo la mia giustizia, secondo l'innocenza delle mie mani davanti ai suoi occhi.
25 With a faithful [person] you show yourself faithful with a man blameless you show yourself blameless.
Con l'uomo buono tu sei buono con l'uomo integro tu sei integro,
26 With [one who] purifies himself you show yourself pure and with a perverse [person] you show yourself twisted.
con l'uomo puro tu sei puro, con il perverso tu sei astuto.
27 For you a people afflicted you save and eyes uplifted you bring low.
Perché tu salvi il popolo degli umili, ma abbassi gli occhi dei superbi.
28 For you you light lamp my Yahweh God my he lightens darkness my.
Tu, Signore, sei luce alla mia lampada; il mio Dio rischiara le mie tenebre.
29 For by you I run a marauding band and by God my I leap over a wall.
Con te mi lancerò contro le schiere, con il mio Dio scavalcherò le mura.
30 God [is] blameless way his [the] word of Yahweh [is] refined [is] a shield he for all - those [who] take refuge in him.
La via di Dio è diritta, la parola del Signore è provata al fuoco; egli è scudo per chi in lui si rifugia.
31 For who? [is] God except Yahweh and who? [is] a rock except God our.
Infatti, chi è Dio, se non il Signore? O chi è rupe, se non il nostro Dio?
32 God [is] the [one who] has girded me strength and he has made blameless way my.
Il Dio che mi ha cinto di vigore e ha reso integro il mio cammino;
33 [he has] made Feet my like does and on high places my he has made stand firm me.
mi ha dato agilità come di cerve, sulle alture mi ha fatto stare saldo;
34 [he has] trained Hands my for battle and it will stretch a bow of bronze arms my.
ha addestrato le mie mani alla battaglia, le mie braccia a tender l'arco di bronzo.
35 And you have given to me [the] shield of salvation your and right [hand] your it has supported me and humility your you have made great me.
Tu mi hai dato il tuo scudo di salvezza, la tua destra mi ha sostenuto, la tua bontà mi ha fatto crescere.
36 You have enlarged step[s] my under me and not they have slipped ankles my.
Hai spianato la via ai miei passi, i miei piedi non hanno vacillato.
37 I pursued enemies my and I overtook them and not I returned until destroyed them.
Ho inseguito i miei nemici e li ho raggiunti, non sono tornato senza averli annientati.
38 I shattered them and not they were able [surely] to rise they fell under feet my.
Li ho colpiti e non si sono rialzati, sono caduti sotto i miei piedi.
39 And you girded me strength for the battle you made bow down [those who] rose against me under me.
Tu mi hai cinto di forza per la guerra, hai piegato sotto di me gli avversari.
40 And enemies my you gave to me [the] neck and [those who] hated me I destroyed them.
Dei nemici mi hai mostrato le spalle, hai disperso quanti mi odiavano.
41 They cried for help and there not [was] a deliverer to Yahweh and not he answered them.
Hanno gridato e nessuno li ha salvati, al Signore, ma non ha risposto.
42 And I crushed them like dust on [the] face of [the] wind like [the] mud of [the] streets I poured out them.
Come polvere al vento li ho dispersi, calpestati come fango delle strade.
43 You delivered me from [the] strivings of a people you appointed me to [the] head of nations a people [which] not I knew they serve me.
Mi hai scampato dal popolo in rivolta, mi hai posto a capo delle nazioni. Un popolo che non conoscevo mi ha servito;
44 To [the] hearing of an ear they become obedient to me sons of foreignness they cringe to me.
all'udirmi, subito mi obbedivano, stranieri cercavano il mio favore,
45 Sons of foreignness they wither and they may come trembling from strongholds their.
impallidivano uomini stranieri e uscivano tremanti dai loro nascondigli.
46 [is] living Yahweh and [be] blessed rock my and may he be exalted [the] God of salvation my.
Viva il Signore e benedetta la mia rupe, sia esaltato il Dio della mia salvezza.
47 God [is] the [one who] has given vengeance to me and he has subdued peoples under me.
Dio, tu mi accordi la rivincita e sottometti i popoli al mio giogo,
48 [he has] delivered Me from enemies my also more than [those who] rose against me you have exalted me from a man of violence you have rescued me.
mi scampi dai nemici furenti, dei miei avversari mi fai trionfare e mi liberi dall'uomo violento.
49 There-fore - I will give thanks to you among the nations - O Yahweh and to name your I will sing praises.
Per questo, Signore, ti loderò tra i popoli e canterò inni di gioia al tuo nome.
50 ([he is] making great *Q(k)*) [the] victories of King his and [he is] doing covenant loyalty - to anointed his to David and to offspring his until perpetuity.
Egli concede al suo re grandi vittorie, si mostra fedele al suo consacrato, a Davide e alla sua discendenza per sempre.
