Psalms 18
1 To the choirmaster - of [the] servant of Yahweh of David who he spoke - to Yahweh [the] words of the song this on [the] day [when] he delivered Yahweh him from [the] hand of all enemies his and from [the] hand of Saul. And he said I love you O Yahweh strength my.
Učitelju zbora. Od Jahvina sluge Davida koji Jahvi ispjeva ovu pjesmu u onaj dan kad ga Jahve oslobodi iz ruku neprijatelja Ljubim te, Jahve, kreposti moja!
2 Yahweh - [is] rock my and stronghold my and deliverer my God my [is] rock my [whom] I take refuge in him shield my and [the] horn of salvation my refuge my.
Jahve, hridino moja, utvrdo moja spase moj; Bože moj, pećino moja kojoj se utječem, štite moj, snago spasenja moga, tvrđavo moja!
3 [the one] to be praised I call out to Yahweh and from enemies my I am delivered.
Zazvat ću Jahvu, hvale predostojna, i od dušmana bit ću izbavljen.
4 They encompassed me [the] cords of death and [the] torrents of worthlessness they overwhelmed me.
Valovi smrti okružiše mene, prestraviše me bujice pogubne.
Užad Podzemlja sputiše me, smrtonosne zamke padoše na me: (Sheol h7585)
6 When it was distress to me - I called out to Yahweh and to God my I cried for help he heard from temple his voice my and cry for help my before him - it came in ears his.
u nevolji zazvah Jahvu i Bogu svome zavapih. Iz svog Hrama zov mi začu, i vapaj moj mu do ušiju doprije.
7 And it shook and it quaked - the earth and [the] foundations of [the] mountains they trembled and they shook back and forth for it burned to him.
I zemlja se potrese i uzdrhta, uzdrmaše se temelji gora, pokrenuše se, jer On gnjevom planu.
8 It went up smoke - in nose his and fire from mouth his it consumed coals they burned from him.
Iz nosnica mu dim se diže, iz usta mu oganj liznu, ugljevlje živo od njega plamsa.
9 And he bent down [the] heavens and he came down and thick darkness [was] under feet his.
On nagnu nebesa i siđe, pod nogama oblaci mu mračni.
10 And he rode on a cherub and he flew and he soared on [the] wings of [the] wind.
Na keruba stade i poletje; na krilima vjetra zaplovi.
11 He made darkness - covering his around him canopy his darkness of waters dark clouds of clouds.
Ogrnu se mrakom kao koprenom, prekri se tamnim vodama i oblacima tmastim,
12 From [the] brightness before him dark clouds his they passed on hail and coals of fire.
od blijeska pred licem njegovim užga se ugljevlje plameno.
13 And he thundered in the heavens - Yahweh and [the] Most High he gave forth voice his hail and coals of fire.
Jahve s neba zagrmje, Svevišnjega glas se ori.
14 And he sent out arrows his and he scattered them and lightning flashes he shot and he routed them.
Odape strijele i dušmane rasu, izbaci munje i na zemlju ih obori.
15 And they appeared - channels of water and they were uncovered [the] foundations of [the] world from rebuke your O Yahweh from [the] breath of [the] breath of nostril[s] your.
Morska se dna pokazaše, i temelji svijeta postaše goli od strašne prijetnje Jahvine, od olujna daha gnjeva njegova.
16 He stretched out from a high place he took hold of me he drew me from waters many.
On pruži s neba ruku i mene prihvati, iz silnih voda on me izbavi.
17 He rescued me from enemy my strong and from [those who] hate me for they were [too] strong for me.
Od protivnika moćnog mene oslobodi, od dušmana mojih jačih od mene.
18 They confronted me in [the] day of calamity my and he became Yahweh a support of me.
Navališe na me u dan zlosretni, ali me Jahve zaštiti,
19 And he brought out me to roomy place he rescued me for he delighted in me.
na polje prostrano izvede me, spasi me jer sam mu mio.
20 He has dealt with me Yahweh according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my he has repaid to me.
Po pravednosti mojoj Jahve mi uzvrati, po čistoći ruku mojih on me nagradi,
21 For I have kept [the] ways of Yahweh and not I have acted wickedly from God my.
jer čuvah putove Jahvine, od Boga se svoga ne udaljih.
22 For all judgments his [have been] to before me and statutes his not I have turned aside from me.
Odredbe njegove sve su mi pred očima, zapovijedi njegove nisam odbacio,
23 And I have been blameless with him and I have kept myself from iniquity my.
do srži odan njemu sam bio, čuvam se grijeha svakoga.
24 And he has repaid Yahweh to me according to righteousness my according to [the] cleanness of hands my to before eyes his.
Jahve mi po pravdi mojoj vrati, čistoću ruku mojih vidje.
25 With a faithful [person] you show yourself faithful with a man blameless you show yourself blameless.
S prijateljem ti si prijatelj, poštenu poštenjem uzvraćaš.
26 With [one who] purifies himself you show yourself pure and with a perverse [person] you show yourself twisted.
S čovjekom čistim ti si čist, a lukavca izigravaš,
27 For you a people afflicted you save and eyes uplifted you bring low.
jer narodu poniženu spasenje donosiš, a ponižavaš oči ohole.
28 For you you light lamp my Yahweh God my he lightens darkness my.
Jahve, ti moju svjetiljku užižeš, Bože, tminu moju obasjavaš:
29 For by you I run a marauding band and by God my I leap over a wall.
s tobom udaram na čete dušmanske, s Bogom svojim preskačem zidine.
30 God [is] blameless way his [the] word of Yahweh [is] refined [is] a shield he for all - those [who] take refuge in him.
Savršeni su puti Gospodnji, i riječ je Božja ognjem kušana. On, samo on, štit je svima koji se k njemu utječu.
31 For who? [is] God except Yahweh and who? [is] a rock except God our.
Jer tko je Bog osim Jahve? Tko li je hridina osim Boga našega?
32 God [is] the [one who] has girded me strength and he has made blameless way my.
Taj Bog me snagom opasuje, stere mi put besprijekoran,
33 [he has] made Feet my like does and on high places my he has made stand firm me.
noge mi dade brze k'o u košute i postavi me na visine čvrste,
34 [he has] trained Hands my for battle and it will stretch a bow of bronze arms my.
ruke mi za borbu uvježba i mišice da luk mjedeni napinju.
35 And you have given to me [the] shield of salvation your and right [hand] your it has supported me and humility your you have made great me.
Daješ mi štit svoj koji spasava, tvoja me desnica drži, tvoja me brižljivost uzvisi.
36 You have enlarged step[s] my under me and not they have slipped ankles my.
Pouzdanje daješ mom koraku, i noge mi više ne posrću.
37 I pursued enemies my and I overtook them and not I returned until destroyed them.
Pognah svoje dušmane i dostigoh, i ne vratih se dok ih ne uništih.
38 I shattered them and not they were able [surely] to rise they fell under feet my.
Obaram ih, ne mogu se dići, padaju, pod nogama mi leže.
39 And you girded me strength for the battle you made bow down [those who] rose against me under me.
Ti me opasa snagom za borbu, a protivnike moje meni podloži.
40 And enemies my you gave to me [the] neck and [those who] hated me I destroyed them.
Ti dušmane moje u bijeg natjera, i rasprših one koji su me mrzili.
41 They cried for help and there not [was] a deliverer to Yahweh and not he answered them.
Vapiju u pomoć - nikog da pomogne; vapiju Jahvi - ne odaziva se.
42 And I crushed them like dust on [the] face of [the] wind like [the] mud of [the] streets I poured out them.
Smrvih ih kao prah na vjetru, zgazih ih k'o blato na putu.
43 You delivered me from [the] strivings of a people you appointed me to [the] head of nations a people [which] not I knew they serve me.
Ti me izbavi od bune u mom narodu, postavi me glavarom pogana, puk koji ne poznavah služi mi.
44 To [the] hearing of an ear they become obedient to me sons of foreignness they cringe to me.
Svaki moj šapat pokorno on sluša, sinovi tuđinci meni laskaju;
45 Sons of foreignness they wither and they may come trembling from strongholds their.
sinovi tuđinski gube srčanost, izlaze dršćuć' iz svojih utvrda.
46 [is] living Yahweh and [be] blessed rock my and may he be exalted [the] God of salvation my.
Živio Jahve! Blagoslovljena hridina moja! Neka se uzvisi Bog, spasenje moje!
47 God [is] the [one who] has given vengeance to me and he has subdued peoples under me.
Bog koji mi daje osvetu i narode meni pokorava.
48 [he has] delivered Me from enemies my also more than [those who] rose against me you have exalted me from a man of violence you have rescued me.
Od dušmana me mojih izbavljaš i nad protivnike me moje izdižeš, ti mene od čovjeka silnika spasavaš.
49 There-fore - I will give thanks to you among the nations - O Yahweh and to name your I will sing praises.
Zato te slavim, Jahve, među pucima i psalam pjevam tvome Imenu:
50 ([he is] making great *Q(k)*) [the] victories of King his and [he is] doing covenant loyalty - to anointed his to David and to offspring his until perpetuity.
umnožio si pobjede kralju svojemu, pomazaniku svome milost si iskazao, Davidu i potomstvu njegovu navijeke.
