Psalms 149

1 Praise Yahweh - sing to Yahweh a song new praise his in [the] assembly of faithful [people].

הַלְלוּ ־ יָהּ ׀ שִׁירוּ לַֽיהֹוָה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ תְּהִלָּתוֹ בִּקְהַל חֲסִידִֽים׃

2 Let it rejoice Israel in maker its [the] children of Zion let them be glad in king their.

יִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֹשָׂיו בְּנֵֽי־צִיּוֹן יָגִילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם׃

3 Let them praise name his with dancing with tambourine and harp let them make music to him.

יְהַלְלוּ שְׁמוֹ בְמָחוֹל בְּתֹף וְכִנּוֹר יְזַמְּרוּ־לֽוֹ׃

4 For [is] taking pleasure Yahweh in people his he glorifies humble [people] with salvation.

כִּֽי־רוֹצֶה יְהֹוָה בְּעַמּוֹ יְפָאֵר עֲנָוִים בִּישׁוּעָֽה׃

5 Let them exult faithful [people] in honor let them sing for joy on beds their.

יַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד יְרַנְּנוּ עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם׃

6 [the] praises of God [be] in throat their and a sword of teeth [be] in hand their.

רוֹמְמוֹת אֵל בִּגְרוֹנָם וְחֶרֶב פִּיפִיּוֹת בְּיָדָֽם׃

7 To execute vengeance on the nations punishment not peoples.

לַעֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָה בַּגּוֹיִם תּוֹכֵחוֹת בַּלְאֻמִּֽים׃

8 To bind kings their with fetters and honored [people] their with shackles of iron.

לֶאְסֹר מַלְכֵיהֶם בְּזִקִּים וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶם בְּכַבְלֵי בַרְזֶֽל׃

9 To execute on them - judgment written [is] honor it for all faithful [people] his praise Yahweh.

לַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם ׀ מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב הָדָר הוּא לְכׇל־חֲסִידָיו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃
