Psalms 148
1 Praise Yahweh - praise Yahweh from the heavens praise him in the heights.
| הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הוָה מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם הֽ͏ַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ בַּמְּרֹומִֽים׃ |
2 Praise him O all angels his praise him O all (hosts his. *Q(K)*)
| הֽ͏ַלְל֥וּהוּ כָל־מַלְאָכָ֑יו הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־צְבָאֹו (צְבָאָֽיו)׃ |
3 Praise him O sun and moon praise him O all [the] stars of light.
| הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ וְיָרֵ֑חַ הַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־כֹּ֥וכְבֵי אֹֽור׃ |
4 Praise him O heaven of the heavens and the waters which - [are] above the heavens.
| הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְ֝הַמַּ֗יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀ מֵעַ֬ל הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ |
5 Let them praise [the] name of Yahweh for he he commanded and they were created.
| יְֽ֭הַֽלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י ה֭וּא צִוָּ֣ה וְנִבְרָֽאוּ׃ |
6 And he established them for ever for ever a decree he gave and not it will pass away.
| וַיַּעֲמִידֵ֣ם לָעַ֣ד לְעֹולָ֑ם חָק־נָ֝תַ֗ן וְלֹ֣א יַעֲבֹֽור׃ |
7 Praise Yahweh from the earth O sea monsters and all [the] deeps.
| הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הוָה מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ תַּ֝נִּינִ֗ים וְכָל־תְּהֹמֹֽות׃ |
8 O fire and hail snow and smoke wind of storm [which] does word his.
| אֵ֣שׁ וּ֭בָרָד שֶׁ֣לֶג וְקִיטֹ֑ור ר֥וּחַ סְ֝עָרָ֗ה עֹשָׂ֥ה דְבָרֹֽו׃ |
9 O mountains and all hills tree[s] of fruit and all cedars.
| הֶהָרִ֥ים וְכָל־גְּבָעֹ֑ות עֵ֥ץ פְּ֝רִ֗י וְכָל־אֲרָזִֽים׃ |
10 O animal[s] and all livestock creeping thing[s] and bird[s] of wing.
| הַֽחַיָּ֥ה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָ֑ה רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ וְצִפֹּ֥ור כָּנָֽף׃ |
11 O kings of [the] earth and all peoples of icials and all rulers of [the] earth.
| מַלְכֵי־אֶ֭רֶץ וְכָל־לְאֻמִּ֑ים שָׂ֝רִ֗ים וְכָל־שֹׁ֥פְטֵי אָֽרֶץ׃ |
12 O young men and also young women old [people] with youths.
| בַּחוּרִ֥ים וְגַם־בְּתוּלֹ֑ות זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים עִם־נְעָרֽ͏ִים׃ |
13 Let them praise - [the] name of Yahweh for [is] exalted name his to only him splendor his [is] above earth and heaven.
| יְהַלְל֤וּ ׀ אֶת־שֵׁ֬ם יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־נִשְׂגָּ֣ב שְׁמֹ֣ו לְבַדֹּ֑ו הֹ֝ודֹ֗ו עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃ |
14 And he has raised up a horn - for people his praise for all faithful [people] his for [the] people of Israel a people kinsmen his praise Yahweh.
| וַיָּ֤רֶם קֶ֨רֶן ׀ לְעַמֹּ֡ו תְּהִלָּ֤ה לְֽכָל־חֲסִידָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֣י יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל עַֽם־קְרֹבֹ֗ו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ |
