Psalms 147
1 Praise Yahweh - for [is] good to sing praises to God our for [is] pleasant [is] fitting praise.
| הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ כִּי־ט֭וֹב זַמְּרָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ כִּֽי־נָ֝עִים נָאוָ֥ה תְהִלָּֽה׃ |
2 [is] [the] builder of Jerusalem Yahweh [the] banished [ones] of Israel he gathers.
| בּוֹנֵ֣ה יְרוּשָׁלִַ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה נִדְחֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל יְכַנֵּֽס׃ |
3 Who [is] healing [the people] broken of heart and [he is] binding up wounds their.
| הָ֭רֹפֵא לִשְׁב֣וּרֵי לֵ֑ב וּ֝מְחַבֵּ֗שׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָֽם׃ |
4 [he is] counting [the] number Of the stars to all of them names he calls.
| מוֹנֶ֣ה מִ֭סְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִ֑ים לְ֝כֻלָּ֗ם שֵׁמ֥וֹת יִקְרָֽא׃ |
5 [is] great Lord our and great of power to understanding his there not [is] a number.
| גָּד֣וֹל אֲדוֹנֵ֣ינוּ וְרַב־כֹּ֑חַ לִ֝תְבוּנָת֗וֹ אֵ֣ין מִסְפָּֽר׃ |
6 [is] relieving Humble [people] Yahweh [is] bringing low wicked [people] to [the] ground.
| מְעוֹדֵ֣ד עֲנָוִ֣ים יְהוָ֑ה מַשְׁפִּ֖יל רְשָׁעִ֣ים עֲדֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ |
7 Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving make music to God our with a harp.
| עֱנ֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה בְּתוֹדָ֑ה זַמְּר֖וּ לֵאלֹהֵ֣ינוּ בְכִנּֽוֹר׃ |
8 Who covers [the] heavens - with clouds who prepares for the earth rain who causes to sprout mountains grass.
| הַֽמְכַסֶּ֬ה שָׁמַ֨יִם ׀ בְּעָבִ֗ים הַמֵּכִ֣ין לָאָ֣רֶץ מָטָ֑ר הַמַּצְמִ֖יחַ הָרִ֣ים חָצִֽיר׃ |
9 [who] gives To animal[s] food its to [the] young ones of a raven which they call out.
| נוֹתֵ֣ן לִבְהֵמָ֣ה לַחְמָ֑הּ לִבְנֵ֥י עֹ֝רֵ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִקְרָֽאוּ׃ |
10 Not in [the] strength of horse he delights not in [the] legs of man he takes pleasure.
| לֹ֤א בִגְבוּרַ֣ת הַסּ֣וּס יֶחְפָּ֑ץ לֹֽא־בְשׁוֹקֵ֖י הָאִ֣ישׁ יִרְצֶֽה׃ |
11 [is] taking pleasure in Yahweh [those] fearing him those [who] hope for covenant loyalty his.
| רוֹצֶ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אֶת־יְרֵאָ֑יו אֶת־הַֽמְיַחֲלִ֥ים לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃ |
12 Extol O Jerusalem Yahweh praise God your O Zion.
| שַׁבְּחִ֣י יְ֭רוּשָׁלִַם אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה הַֽלְלִ֖י אֱלֹהַ֣יִךְ צִיּֽוֹן׃ |
13 For he has strengthened [the] bars of gates your he has blessed children your in midst your.
| כִּֽי־חִ֭זַּק בְּרִיחֵ֣י שְׁעָרָ֑יִךְ בֵּרַ֖ךְ בָּנַ֣יִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ׃ |
14 The [one who] makes territory your peace [the] best of wheat he satisfies you.
| הַשָּׂם־גְּבוּלֵ֥ךְ שָׁל֑וֹם חֵ֥לֶב חִ֝טִּ֗ים יַשְׂבִּיעֵֽךְ׃ |
15 The [one who] sends word his [the] earth to quickly it runs word his.
| הַשֹּׁלֵ֣חַ אִמְרָת֣וֹ אָ֑רֶץ עַד־מְ֝הֵרָ֗ה יָר֥וּץ דְּבָרֽוֹ׃ |
16 The [one who] gives snow like wool frost like ash[es] he scatters.
| הַנֹּתֵ֣ן שֶׁ֣לֶג כַּצָּ֑מֶר כְּ֝פ֗וֹר כָּאֵ֥פֶר יְפַזֵּֽר׃ |
17 [the one who] throws Ice his like crumbs before coldness his who? will he stand.
| מַשְׁלִ֣יךְ קַֽרְח֣וֹ כְפִתִּ֑ים לִפְנֵ֥י קָ֝רָת֗וֹ מִ֣י יַעֲמֹֽד׃ |
18 He sends word his and he melts them he makes blow wind his they flow waters.
| יִשְׁלַ֣ח דְּבָר֣וֹ וְיַמְסֵ֑ם יַשֵּׁ֥ב ר֝וּח֗וֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָֽיִם׃ |
19 [the one who] declares (Words his *Q(K)*) to Jacob decrees his and judgments his to Israel.
| מַגִּ֣יד דְּבָרָ֣יו לְיַעֲקֹ֑ב חֻקָּ֥יו וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטָ֗יו לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
20 Not he has done thus - for any nation and judgments not they have known them praise Yahweh.
| לֹ֘א עָ֤שָׂה כֵ֨ן ׀ לְכָל־גּ֗וֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִ֥ים בַּל־יְדָע֗וּם הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ |
