Psalms 139
1 To the choirmaster of David a psalm O Yahweh you have examined me and you have known [me].
Au maître-chantre. — Psaume de David. Éternel, tu m'as sondé, et tu m'as connu.
2 You you know sitting my and standing my you understand thought[s] my from a distance.
Tu sais quand je m'assieds et quand je me lève; Tu découvres de loin ma pensée.
3 Traveling I and lying down my you sift and all ways my you know intimately.
Tu m'observes, soit que je marche, soit que je me couche; Tu as une parfaite connaissance de toutes mes actions.
4 For there not [is] a word on tongue my there! O Yahweh you know all of it.
Même avant que la parole soit sur ma langue, Déjà, ô Éternel, tu la connais tout entière.
5 Back part and front you enclose me and you have put on me hand your.
Tu es à mes côtés, et par derrière et par devant; Tu poses ta main sur moi.
6 ([is too] wonderful *Q(k)*) Knowledge for me it is set on high not I am able to it.
Une telle science est trop merveilleuse pour moi. Trop élevée pour que je puisse y atteindre!
7 Where? will I go from spirit your and where? from presence your will I flee.
Où irais-je loin de ton Esprit, Où fuirais-je loin de ta face?
8 If I will ascend heavens [are] there you and I will spread as a bed Sheol there [are] you. (Sheol h7585)
Si je monte aux cieux, tu y es; Si je me couche dans le Sépulcre, t'y voilà! (Sheol h7585)
9 I will rise up [the] wings of dawn I dwell at [the] end of [the] sea.
Si je prenais les ailes de l'aurore. Et si j'allais demeurer à l'extrémité de la mer,
10 Also there hand your it will lead me and it will grasp me right [hand] your.
Là même, ta main me conduirait. Ta main droite me saisirait!
11 And I said surely darkness it will crush me and [will be] night [the] light behind me.
Si je dis: «Seules les ténèbres pourront me cacher.» — Alors, la nuit même devient lumière autour de moi.
12 Also darkness not it is [too] dark for you and night like the day it shines as darkness as the light.
Pour toi les ténèbres ne sont pas obscures: La nuit resplendit comme le jour, Et les ténèbres comme la lumière!
13 For you you created kidneys my you wove together me in [the] womb of mother my.
Car c'est toi qui as formé mes reins, Qui m'as tissé dans le sein de ma mère.
14 I will give thanks to you on for awesome I am wonderful [are] wonderful works your and self my [is] knowing exceedingly.
Je te loue de ce que tu as fait de mon corps Une oeuvre si étonnante et si merveilleuse. Oui, tes oeuvres sont merveilleuses, Et mon âme ne se lasse pas de le reconnaître.
15 Not it was hidden bone[s] my from you who I was made in the secret place I was formed in [the] lower parts of [the] earth.
La structure de mon corps n'était pas ignorée de toi, Lorsque j'étais formé dans le secret, Et tissé comme dans des entrailles souterraines,
16 Shapeless form my - they saw eyes your and on scroll your all of them they were written days [which] they were ordained (and to it *Q(K)*) one among them.
Tes yeux m'ont vu, lorsque je n'étais qu'un peloton. Et sur ton livre étaient inscrits Tous les jours qui m'étaient réservés, Avant qu'un seul de ces jours existât.
17 And to me how! they are precious thoughts your O God how! they are vast sum their.
Que tes pensées me sont précieuses, ô Dieu, Et combien leur nombre est immense!
18 I will count them more than sand they will be numerous! I awoke and still I [am] with you.
Pourrais-je les compter? Elles sont plus nombreuses que les grains de sable! Quand je me réveille, elles occupent encore mon esprit.
19 If you will kill O God - [the] wicked and O men of blood depart from me.
Dieu, ne feras-tu pas mourir le méchant? Hommes de sang, éloignez-vous de moi!
20 [those] who They speak of you to wickedness they lift up to falsehood enemies your.
Ils se servent de ton nom pour mal faire; Tes ennemis l'invoquent pour mentir.
21 ¿ Not [those who] hate you O Yahweh - do I hate and rebels your do I loathe?
Éternel, comment ne haïrais-je pas ceux qui te haïssent, Et n'aurais-je pas en horreur ceux qui s'élèvent contre toi?
22 Completeness of hatred I hate them enemies they have become of me.
Je les hais d'une parfaite haine; Je les tiens pour mes ennemis.
23 Examine me O God and know heart my test me and know disquieting thoughts my.
Sonde-moi, ô Dieu fort, et connais mon coeur; Éprouve-moi, et connais mes pensées.
24 And see if a way of an idol [is] in me and lead me in [the] way of antiquity.
Regarde si je suis sur une voie funeste. Et conduis-moi dans la voie de l'éternité!
