Psalms 136

1 Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

O give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

2 Give thanks to [the] God of the gods for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

O give praise to the God of gods: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

3 Give thanks to [the] lord of the lords for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

O give praise to the Lord of lords: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

4 To [one who] does wonders great to only him for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who only does great wonders: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

5 To [one who] made the heavens by understanding for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

6 To [one who] spread out the earth on the waters for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him by whom the earth was stretched out over the waters: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

7 To [one who] made [the] lights great for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who made great lights: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

8 The sun for dominion in the day for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

The sun to have rule by day: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

9 The moon and stars for dominion in the night for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

The moon and the stars to have rule by night: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

10 To [one who] struck down Egypt firstborn their for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who put to death the first-fruits of Egypt: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

11 And he brought out Israel from among them for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

And took out Israel from among them: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

12 By a hand strong and by an arm outstretched for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

With a strong hand and an outstretched arm: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

13 To [one who] cut [the] sea of reed[s] into pieces for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who made a way through the Red Sea: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

14 And he made pass Israel in [the] middle of it for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

And let Israel go through it: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

15 And he shook off Pharaoh and army his in [the] sea of reed[s] for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

By him Pharaoh and his army were overturned in the Red Sea: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

16 To [one who] led people his in the wilderness for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who took his people through the waste land: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

17 To [one who] struck down kings great for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

To him who overcame great kings: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

18 And he killed kings mighty for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

And put noble kings to death: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

19 To Sihon [the] king of the Amorites for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

Sihon, king of the Amorites: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

20 And to Og [the] king of Bashan for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

And Og, king of Bashan: for his mercy is unchanging for ever:

21 And he gave land their to an inheritance for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

And gave their land to his people for a heritage: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

22 An inheritance to Israel servant his for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

Even a heritage for his servant Israel: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

23 Who in low condition our he remembered us for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

Who kept us in mind when we were in trouble: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

24 And he rescued us from foes our for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

And has taken us out of the hands of our haters: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

25 [he is] giving Food to all flesh for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

Who gives food to all flesh: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.

26 Give thanks to [the] God of the heavens for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

O give praise to the God of heaven: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.
