Psalms 135
1 Praise Yahweh - praise [the] name of Yahweh praise O servants of Yahweh.
Lobet Jah! / Lobt den Namen Jahwes, / Lobt ihn, ihr Knechte Jahwes,
2 Who [are] standing in [the] house of Yahweh in [the] courts of [the] house of God our.
Die ihr steht in Jahwes Haus, / In den Höfen des Hauses unsers Gottes!
3 Praise Yahweh for [is] good Yahweh sing praises to name his for [it is] pleasant.
Lobt Jah, denn Jahwe ist gütig, / Spielt seinem Namen, denn lieblich ist er!
4 For Jacob he has chosen for himself Yahweh Israel to possession his.
Denn Jah hat Jakob erkoren, / Israel sich zum Eigentum erwählt.
5 For I I know that [is] great Yahweh and lord our more than all gods.
Denn ich weiß wohl, daß Jahwe groß ist / Und unser Herr alle Götter überragt.
6 All that he desires Yahweh he does in the heavens and on the earth in the seas and all [the] deeps.
Alles, was Jahwe gefiel, das hat er gemacht / Im Himmel und auf Erden, / In den Meeren und allen Tiefen.
7 [he is] bringing up Clouds from [the] end of the earth lightning for the rain he makes [he is] bringing out wind from storehouses his.
Er führt Wolken herauf vom Ende der Erde, / Läßt künden durch Blitze Gewitterregen, / Holt Wind aus seinen Speichern hervor.
8 Who struck down [the] firstborn of Egypt from humankind unto animal[s].
Er schlug Ägyptens Erstgeburten / Von Menschen bis zum Vieh.
9 He sent - signs and wonders in [the] midst of you O Egypt on Pharaoh and on all servants his.
Er sandte Zeichen und Wunder / Wider dich, Ägyptenland, / Wider Pharao und all seine Knechte.
10 Who struck down nations many and he killed kings mighty.
Er schlug viele Völker / Und tötete mächtige Könige.
11 To Sihon - [the] king of the Amorites and to Og [the] king of Bashan and to all [the] kingdoms of Canaan.
Sihon, der Amoriter König, / Und Og, den König von Basan, / Ja, machte zunichte alle Reiche Kanaans.
12 And he gave land their an inheritance an inheritance to Israel people his.
Er gab ihr Land als Erbe, / Als Erbe Israel, seinem Volk.
13 O Yahweh name your [is] for ever O Yahweh remembrance your [is] to a generation and a generation.
Jahwe, dein Name währt ewig; / Dein Gedächtnis, Jahwe, bleibt für und für.
14 For he vindicates Yahweh people his and on servants his he has compassion.
Denn Jahwe wird seinem Volk Recht schaffen / Und mit seinen Knechten Erbarmen haben.
15 [the] idols of The nations [are] silver and gold [the] work of [the] hands of humankind.
Der Heiden Götzen sind Silber und Gold, / Das Gebilde von Menschenhand.
16 A mouth [belongs] to them and not they speak eyes [belong] to them and not they see.
Sie haben einen Mund und können nicht reden, / Sie haben Augen und sehen doch nicht.
17 Ears [belong] to them and not they give ear also there not there [is] breath in mouth their.
Ohren haben sie und hören nicht, / Noch haben sie Odem in ihrem Mund.
18 Like them they will be [those who] make them every [one] who [is] trusting in them.
Ihnen gleich sind, die sie bilden — / Jeder, der ihnen vertraut.
19 O house of Israel bless Yahweh O house of Aaron bless Yahweh.
Ihr von Israels Haus, preist Jahwe! / Ihr von Aarons Haus, preist Jahwe!
20 O house of the Levites bless Yahweh O [those] fearing Yahweh bless Yahweh.
Ihr von Levis Haus, preist Jahwe! / Die ihr Jahwe fürchtet, preist Jahwe!
21 [be] blessed Yahweh - from Zion [who] dwells Jerusalem praise Yahweh.
Gepriesen sei Jahwe von Zion aus, / Er, der in Jerusalem wohnt. / Lobt Jah!
