Pesem preizvrstna. Mnogo so me stiskali od mladosti moje, govori naj sedaj Izrael.

Mnogo so me stiskali od mladosti moje; vendar me niso zmogli.

Po hrbtu so mi orali orači, potegnili so vsako črto svojo.

Gospod pravični presekal je debele vrvi krivičnih.

Osramotili se bodo in nazaj pognali vsi sovražniki Sijonovi.

6 May they be like [the] grass of roofs that before it has shot up it has withered.

Bodo kakor seno na strehah, katero usahne, predno se izdere,

S katerim ne napolni roke svoje žanjec, ali naročja svojega, kdor veže snope.
