Psalms 129

1 [the] song of The ascents much people have opposed me since youth my let it say please Israel.

سرود زائران به هنگام بالا رفتن به اورشلیم. از ایام جوانی‌ام دشمنانم بر من ظلم بسیار کردند. اسرائیل بگوید:

2 Much people have opposed me since youth my also not they have prevailed to me.

«از ایام جوانی‌ام دشمنانم بر من ظلم بسیار کردند، اما نتوانستند مرا از پای درآورند.

3 On back my they have plowed plowmen they have made long (furrows their. *Q(K)*)

ضربات شلّاق آنان پشت مرا به شکل زمینی شیار شده درآورد،

4 Yahweh [is] righteous he has cut off [the] rope of wicked [people].

اما خداوند مرا از اسارت آنان آزاد ساخت.»

5 May they be ashamed and they may be turned back backward all [those who] hate Zion.

سرنگون شوند تمام کسانی که از اسرائیل نفرت دارند!

6 May they be like [the] grass of roofs that before it has shot up it has withered.

همچون علفی باشند که بر پشت بامها می‌روید، که پیش از آنکه آن را بچینند، می‌خشکد

7 That not he has filled hand his a reaper and bosom his [one who] binds sheaves.

و کسی آن را جمع نمی‌کند و به شکل بافه نمی‌بندد.

8 And not they say - those [who] pass by [the] blessing of Yahweh [be] to you we bless you in [the] name of Yahweh.

رهگذران آنان را برکت ندهند و نگویند: «برکت خداوند بر شما باد!» و یا «ما شما را به نام خداوند برکت می‌دهیم.»
