Psalms 127

1 [the] song of The ascents of Solomon if Yahweh - not he will build a house vanity - they have toiled builders its in it if Yahweh not he will watch over a city vanity - he has kept awake [the] watchman.

Se o Senhor não edificar a casa, em vão trabalham os que edificam: se o Senhor não guardar a cidade, em vão vigia a sentinella.

2 Vanity [belongs] to you - [who] rise early to rise [who] delay to sit [who] eat [the] bread of labors thus he gives to beloved [one] his sleep.

Inutil vos será levantar de madrugada, repousar tarde, comer o pão de dôres, pois assim dá elle aos seus amados o somno.

3 Here! [the] inheritance of Yahweh [is] sons [is] a reward [the] fruit of the womb.

Eis que os filhos são herança do Senhor, e o fructo do ventre o seu galardão.

4 Like arrows in [the] hand of a warrior so [are] [the] sons of youth.

Como frechas na mão d'um homem valente, assim são os filhos da mocidade.

5 How blessed! [is] the man who he has filled quiver his from them not they will be ashamed if they will speak with enemies in the gate.

Bemaventurado o homem que enche d'elles a sua aljava: não serão confundidos, mas fallarão com os seus inimigos á porta.
