Psalms 127

1 [the] song of The ascents of Solomon if Yahweh - not he will build a house vanity - they have toiled builders its in it if Yahweh not he will watch over a city vanity - he has kept awake [the] watchman.

En Jérusalem. Si le Seigneur n'édifie la maison, ceux qui l'édifient travaillent en vain. Si le Seigneur ne garde la ville, celui qui la garde veille en vain.

2 Vanity [belongs] to you - [who] rise early to rise [who] delay to sit [who] eat [the] bread of labors thus he gives to beloved [one] his sleep.

En vain vous vous levez dès l'aurore: Levez-vous après le repos, vous qui mangez le pain de la douleur, quand le Seigneur aura donné le sommeil à ses bien-aimés.

3 Here! [the] inheritance of Yahweh [is] sons [is] a reward [the] fruit of the womb.

Voilà l'héritage du Seigneur: des enfants, récompense du labeur des entrailles.

4 Like arrows in [the] hand of a warrior so [are] [the] sons of youth.

Telles sont des flèches dans la main des puissants; tels des fils pour ceux qui ont été ébranlés.

5 How blessed! [is] the man who he has filled quiver his from them not they will be ashamed if they will speak with enemies in the gate.

Heureux celui qui, par eux, remplira ses désirs: ils ne seront point confondus quand ils parleront à leurs ennemis aux portes de la ville.
