1 How blessed! [are people] blameless of way those [who] walk in [the] law of Yahweh.
[ALEPH.] How happy the men of blameless life, who walk in the law of Yahweh.
2 How blessed! [are those who] observe testimonies his with all [the] heart they seek him.
How happy they who observe his testimonies, with a whole heart, they seek him.
3 Also not they do injustice in ways his they walk.
Yea, they have not wrought perversity, In his ways, have they walked.
4 You you have commanded precepts your to keep exceedingly.
Thou, hast commanded thy precepts, that they should be diligently kept.
5 Would that! they will be steadfast ways my to keep decrees your.
Oh would that my ways might be settled! that I might keep thy statutes.
6 Then not I will be ashamed when look I to all commandments your.
Then, shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 I will give thanks to you in uprightness of heart when learn I [the] judgments of righteousness your.
I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I have learned thy righteous regulations.
8 Decrees your I will keep may not you forsake me up to muchness.
Thy statutes, will I keep, Do not thou forsake me utterly.
9 How? will he keep pure a youth path his by keeping [it] according to word your.
[BETH.] Wherewithal can a young man keep pure his way? By taking heed, according to thy word.
10 With all heart my I seek you may not you allow to stray me from commandments your.
With all my heart, have I sought thee, Suffer me not to be led astray from thy commandments.
11 In heart my I have hidden word your so that not I will sin to you.
In my heart, have I treasured what thou hast said, to the end I may not sin against thee.
12 [be] blessed You O Yahweh teach me decrees your.
Blessed art thou, O Yahweh—Teach me thy statutes.
13 With lips my I recount all [the] judgments of mouth your.
With my lips, have I recounted All the regulations of thy mouth.
14 In [the] way of testimonies your I exult as on all wealth.
In the way of thy testimonies, have I rejoiced, Like as over all riches.
15 On precepts your I will meditate and I will pay attention to paths your.
In thy precepts, will I meditate, that I may discern thy paths.
16 In statutes your I will delight myself not I will forget word your.
In thy statutes, will I find my dear delight, I will not forget thy word.
17 Deal bountifully towards servant your I will live and I will keep word your.
[GIMEL.] Bestow thy bounties upon thy servant—let me live, That I may observe thy word.
18 Uncover eyes my so let me pay attention to wonderful [things] from law your.
Unveil thou mine eyes, that I may discern Wondrous things out of thy law.
19 [am] a sojourner I on the earth may not you hide from me commandments your.
A sojourner, am, I, in the earth, Do not hide from me, thy commandments.
20 It is crushed self my for longing to judgments your at every time.
My soul is crushed with longing for thy just decisions at all times.
21 You rebuke arrogant [people] cursed [people] who go astray from commandments your.
Thou hast rebuked the proud as accursed, who stray from thy commandments.
22 Roll away from on me reproach and contempt for testimonies your I observe.
Roll from off me, reproach and contempt, For, thy testimonies, have I observed.
23 Also they sit officials in me they speak together servant your he meditates on decrees your.
Even rulers have taken their seat, against me, have talked, Thy servant, will still meditate in thy statutes.
24 Also testimonies your [are] delight my [the] people of counsel my.
Yea, thy testimonies, are my dear delight, My counsellors.
25 It clings to the dust self my preserve alive me according to word your.
[DALETH.] My soul, cleaveth to the dust, Give me life, according to thy word.
26 Ways my I recounted and you answered me teach me decrees your.
My ways, I recounted, and thou didst answer me, Teach me thy statutes.
27 [the] way of Precepts your give understanding of me so let me meditate on wonders your.
The way of thy precepts, cause thou me to understand, and I will indeed meditate in thy wonders.
28 It weeps self my from grief strengthen me according to word your.
My soul weepeth itself away, for grief, Confirm thou me, according to thy word.
29 A way of falsehood remove from me and law your show favor to me.
The way of falsehood, take thou from me, and, with thy law, O favour me.
30 A way of faithfulness I have chosen judgments your I have placed.
The way of faithfulness, have I chosen, Thy regulations, have I deemed right.
31 I have clung to testimonies your O Yahweh may not you put to shame me.
I have kept close to thy testimonies, O Yahweh! do not put me to shame.
32 [the] way of Commandments your I run for you enlarge heart my.
The way of thy commandments, will I run, for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
33 Teach me O Yahweh [the] way of decrees your so I may observe it end.
[HE.] Point out to me, O Yahweh, the way of thy statutes, that I may observe it unto the end.
34 Give understanding me so let me observe law your so I may keep it with all [the] heart.
Give me understanding, that I may observe thy law, that I may keep it with a whole heart.
35 Lead me in [the] path of commandments your for in it I delight.
Guide me in the path of thy commandments, for, therein, do I find pleasure.
36 Incline heart my to testimonies your and may not [it incline] to unjust gain.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not unto unjust gain.
37 Take away eyes my from looking at worthlessness in ways your preserve alive me.
Turn away mine eyes, from beholding vanity, In thy way, give me life.
38 Fulfill to servant your word your which [is] for fear your.
Establish, unto thy servant, thy word, which pertaineth to the reverence of thee.
39 Take away reproach my which I dread for judgments your [are] good.
Cause to pass away my reproach, that I have feared, for, thy regulations, are good.
40 Here! I long for precepts your in righteousness your preserve alive me.
Lo! I have longed for thy precepts, In thy righteousness, give me life.
41 And may they come to me covenant loyalti your O Yahweh salvation your according to word your.
[WAW.] And let thy lovingkindness reach me, O Yahweh, thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 So I may answer [the] [one who] taunts me a word for I trust in word your.
So shall I have something to answer him that reproacheth me, That I have trusted in thy word.
43 And may not you take away from mouth my a word of faithfulness up to muchness for for judgments your I hope.
And do not snatch away from my mouth the word of truth in any wise, because, for thy regulation, have I waited.
44 And I will keep law your continually for ever and ever.
That I may keep thy law continually, to times age-abiding and beyond.
45 And I will walk about in the broad place for precepts your I have sought.
That I may walk to and fro in a large place, because, thy precepts, have I sought.
46 And I will speak in testimonies your before kings and not I will be ashamed.
That I may speak of thy testimonies before kings, and not be ashamed.
47 And I may delight myself in commandments your which I love.
That I may find dear delight in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 And I may lift up hands my to commandments your which I love and I will meditate on decrees your.
That I may lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and may meditate in thy statutes.
49 Remember [the] word to servant your on that you have made hope me.
[ZAYIN.] Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This [is] comfort my in affliction my that word your it has preserved alive me.
This, is my comfort in mine affliction, that, thy word, hath given me life.
51 Arrogant [people] they have mocked me up to muchness from law your not I have turned aside.
Insolent men, have derided me exceedingly, From thy law, have I not swerved.
52 I remember judgments your from long ago - O Yahweh and I have comforted myself.
I have remembered thy regulations, [which have come down] from age-past times, O Yahweh, and have consoled myself.
53 Burning indignation it has seized me from wicked [people] [who] forsake law your.
A raging heat, hath seized me, by reason of the lawless, who forsake thy law.
54 Songs they have been of me decrees your in [the] house of sojournings my.
Songs, have thy statutes become to me, in my house of sojourn.
55 I have remembered in the night name your O Yahweh and I have kept! law your.
I have remembered, in the night, thy Name, O Yahweh, and have kept thy law.
56 This it has belonged to me that precepts your I have observed.
This, have I had, because, thy precepts, have I observed.
57 [is] portion My Yahweh I have said to keep words your.
[HETH.] My portion, is Yahweh, I have promised that I would keep thy words.
58 I have entreated face your with all [the] heart show favor to me according to word your.
I have sought the smile of thy face with all my heart, Show me favour, according to thy word.
59 I have thought about ways my and I have turned back! feet my to testimonies your.
I have thought upon my ways, and have turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 I have made haste and not I have delayed to keep commandments your.
I have hastened, and not delayed, to keep thy commandments.
61 [the] ropes of Wicked [people] they have surrounded me law your not I have forgotten.
The meshes of the lawless, have surrounded me, Thy law, have I not forgotten.
62 [the] middle of [the] night I arise to give thanks to you on [the] judgments of righteousness your.
At midnight, I arise to give thanks unto thee, For thy righteous regulations.
63 [am] a companion I of all [those] who they fear you and of [those who] keep precepts your.
Companion, am I, to all who revere thee, and to them who keep thy precepts.
64 Covenant loyalty your O Yahweh it is full the earth decrees your teach me.
Of thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, the earth, is full, Thy statutes, teach thou me.
65 Good you have done with servant your O Yahweh according to word your.
[TETH.] Well, hast thou dealt with thy servant, O Yahweh, according to thy word.
66 Goodness of discernment and knowledge teach me for in commandments your I trust.
Good judgment and knowledge, teach thou me, For, in thy commandments, have I trusted.
67 Before I was afflicted I [was] going astray and now word your I keep.
Before I was afflicted, I myself was going astray, but, now, thy word, have I kept.
68 [are] good You and [are] doing good teach me decrees your.
Good, thou art, and doing good, Teach me thy statutes.
69 They have smeared on me falsehood arrogant [people] I with all [the] heart - I observe precepts your.
Insolent men have plastered falsehood over me, I, with a whole heart, will observe thy precepts.
70 It is insensitive like fat heart their I law your I delight.
Gross, like fat, is their heart, I, in thy law, have found dear delight.
71 It was good for me that I was afflicted so that I may learn decrees your.
It is, well for me, that I was afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.
72 [is] good For me [the] law of mouth your more than thousands of gold and silver.
Better to me, is the law of thy mouth, than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Hands your they made me and they prepared me give understanding me so let me learn commandments your.
[YODH.] Thine own hands, have made me, and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 [those] fearing You may they see me and they may rejoice for for word your I have hoped.
They who revere thee, shall see me and rejoice, that, for thy word, I waited.
75 I know O Yahweh that [are] righteousness judgments your and faithfulness you have afflicted me.
I know, O Yahweh, that righteous are thy regulations, and, in faithfulness, didst thou afflict me.
76 Let it be please covenant loyalty your to comfort me according to word your to servant your.
Let thy lovingkindness, I beseech thee, serve to comfort me, according to thy word to thy servant.
77 Let them come to me compassion your so I may live for law your [is] delight my.
Let thy compassions reach me, that I may live, for, thy law, is my dear delight.
78 Let them be ashamed arrogant [people] for falsehood they have subverted me I I will meditate on precepts your.
Let insolent men, be ashamed, because, by means of falsehood, they have dealt with me perversely, I, will meditate in thy precepts.
79 Let them turn to me [those] fearing you (and [those who] know *Q(K)*) testimonies your.
Let them who revere thee, turn unto me, even they who know thy testimonies.
80 May it be heart my blameless in decrees your so that not I will be ashamed.
Let my heart be thorough in thy statutes, that I may not be ashamed.
81 It is exhausted for salvation your being my for word your I hope.
[KAPH.] My soul, hath languished for thy salvation, For thy word, have I hoped.
82 They are exhausted eyes my for word your saying when? will you comfort me.
Mine eyes have failed for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 For I have become like a skin-bottle in smoke decrees your not I have forgotten.
Though I have been like a wine-skin in the smoke, thy statutes, have I not forgotten.
84 How many? [are] [the] days of servant your when? will you do in [those who] harass me judgment.
How few are the days of thy servant! When wilt thou execute sentence on my persecutors?
85 They have dug for me arrogant [people] pits which not [are] according to law your.
Insolent men digged for me pits, men who are not according to thy law.
86 All commandments your [are] faithfulness falsehood they have harassed me help me.
All thy commandments, are faithful, With falsehood, have they persecuted me, O help me!
87 Like a little they have made an end of me on the earth and I not I have forsaken precepts your.
A little more, and they had consumed me in the earth, but, I, forsake not thy precepts.
88 According to covenant loyalty your preserve alive me so let me keep [the] testimony of mouth your.
According to thy lovingkindness, give thou me life, so will I keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
89 For ever O Yahweh word your [is] standing firm in the heavens.
[LAMED.] Age-abidingly, O Yahweh, hath thy word been set up in the heavens.
90 [is] to A generation and a generation faithfulness your you have established [the] earth and it endures.
To generation after generation, is thy faithfulness, Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
91 For judgments your they stand forth this day for everything [are] servants your.
By thy regulations, do they stand to-day, for, all, are thy servants.
92 If not law your [had been] delight my then I perished in affliction my.
Had not thy law been my dear delight, then, had I perished in mine affliction.
93 For ever not I will forget precepts your for by them you have preserved alive me.
Unto times age-abiding, will I not forget thy precepts, For, by them, hast thou given me life.
94 [belong] to You I save me for precepts your I have sought.
Thine, am I, —oh save me! For, thy precepts, have I sought.
95 For me they have waited wicked [people] to destroy me testimonies your I will consider carefully.
For me, have the lawless waited, to destroy me, Thy testimonies, will I diligently consider.
96 To all perfection I have seen an end [is] broad commandment your exceedingly.
To all perfection, have I seen an end, Broad is thy commandment, exceedingly.
97 How! I love law your all the day it [is] meditation my.
[MEM.] Oh how I love thy law! All the day, is it my (meditation)
98 More than enemies my it makes wise me commandments your for for ever it [belongs] to me.
Beyond mine enemies, will thy commandment make me wise, for, age-abidingly, shall it be mine.
99 More than all teachers my I have insight for testimonies your [are] a meditation of me.
Beyond all my teachers, have I shown discretion, for, thy testimonies, are my (meditation)
100 More than old [people] I gain understanding for precepts your I have observed.
Beyond the elders, will I show understanding, for, thy precepts, have I observed.
101 From every path evil I have restrained feet my so that I may keep word your.
From every way of wickedness, have I withheld my feet, that I might keep thy word.
102 From judgments your not I have turned aside for you you have taught me.
From thy regulations, have I not turned aside, for, thou, hast directed me.
103 How! they are smooth to palate my word your more than honey to mouth my.
How smooth to my palate is thy speech, More than honey, to my mouth.
104 From precepts your I gain understanding there-fore I hate - every path of falsehood.
Out of thy precepts, will I get understanding, For this cause, do I hate every false way.
105 [is] a lamp For foot my word your and a light for pathway my.
[NUN.] A lamp to my feet, is thy word, and a light to my path.
106 I have sworn an oath and I have confirmed! to keep [the] judgments of righteousness your.
I sware, and have fulfilled, To keep thy righteous regulations.
107 I have been afflicted up to muchness O Yahweh preserve alive me according to word your.
I have been afflicted exceedingly, —O Yahweh, give me life according to thy word.
108 [the] freewill offerings of Mouth my accept please O Yahweh and judgments your teach me.
The freewill offerings of my mouth, accept, I pray thee, O Yahweh, And, thy regulations, teach thou me.
109 Life my [is] in hand my continually and law your not I forget.
My life, is in my hand continually, Yet, thy law, have I not forgotten.
110 They have set wicked [people] a snare for me and from precepts your not I have gone astray.
The lawless have set a snare for me, Yet, from thy precepts, have I not strayed.
111 I have inherited testimonies your for ever for [are] [the] joy of heart my they.
As an inheritance have I taken thy testimonies unto times age-abiding, for, the joy of my heart, they are.
112 I have turned heart my to do decrees your for ever end.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Age-abidingly, to the end.
113 Half-hearted people I hate and law your I love.
[SAMECH.] Half-hearted ones, do I hate, but, thy law, do I love.
114 [are] hiding place My and shield my you for word your I hope.
My hiding-place and my buckler, thou art, For thy word, have I waited.
115 Turn aside from me O evil-doers and let me observe [the] commandments of God my.
Depart from me, ye evil-doers, —that I may observe the commandments of my God.
116 Sustain me according to word your so I may live and may not you put to shame me from hope my.
Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and do not shame me out of my hope!
117 Uphold me so let me be saved and I may have regard for decrees your continually.
Sustain me, that I may be saved, and may find dear delight in thy statutes continually.
118 You reject all [those who] go astray from decrees your for [is] falsehood deceitfulness their.
Thou hast made light of all who stray from thy statutes, for their fraud is, falsehood.
119 Dross you cause to cease all [the] wicked [people] of [the] earth therefore I love testimonies your.
Dross, have I accounted all the lawless of the earth, therefore do I love thy testimonies.
120 It trembles from dread of you flesh my and from judgments your I am afraid.
My flesh, bristled up from dread of thee, and, of thy regulations, stand I in fear.
121 I have done justice and righteousness not you will abandon me to oppressors my.
[AYIN.] I have done justice and righteousness, —Do not leave me to mine oppressors.
122 Stand surety for servant your for good may not they oppress me arrogant [people].
Be thou surety for thy servant for good, Let not insolent men oppress me.
123 Eyes my they are exhausted for deliverance your and for [the] word of righteousness your.
Mine eyes, have become dim for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.
124 Do with servant your according to covenant loyalty your and decrees your teach me.
Deal with thy servant according to thy lovingkindness, and, thy statutes, teach thou me.
125 [am] servant Your I give understanding me so let me know testimonies your.
Thy servant, I am—give me understanding, so shall I get to know thy testimonies.
126 A time to act [belongs] to Yahweh people have broken law your.
It is time that Yahweh should work, They have frustrated thy law!
127 There-fore I love commandments your more than gold and more than pure gold.
For this cause, do I love thy commandments, More than gold, yea than fine gold!
128 There-fore - all [the] precepts of everything I approve every path of falsehood I hate.
For this cause, all thy precepts concerning all things, I deem right, Every way of falsehood, I hate.
129 [are] wonders Testimonies your there-fore it observes them self my.
[PE.] Wonderful are thy testimonies, For this cause, hath my soul observed them.
130 [the] opening of Words your it gives light [it is] giving understanding to simple people.
The opening of thy words, sheddeth light, Giving understanding to the simple.
131 Mouth my I opened wide and I panted! for for commandments your I longed.
My mouth, have I opened wide, and panted, because, for thy commandments, have I longed.
132 Turn to me and show favor to me according to custom to [those who] love name your.
Turn thyself unto me, and show me favour, —As is befitting, to the lovers of thy Name.
133 Footsteps my direct by word your and may not it have power over me any wickedness.
My steps, direct thou by thy word, and let no iniquity, have dominion over me.
134 Redeem me from oppression of humankind so let me keep precepts your.
Set me free from the oppression of man, so will I keep thy precepts.
135 Face your make shine on servant your and teach me decrees your.
Thy face, light thou up on thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
136 Streams of water they have gone down eyes my because not people keep law your.
Streams of water, have run down mine eyes, because men have not kept thy law.
137 [are] righteous You O Yahweh and [are] upright judgments your.
[ZADHE.] Righteous art thou, O Yahweh, —and, equitable, are thy regulations.
138 You commanded righteousness testimonies your and faithfulness much.
Thou hast righteously commanded thy testimonies, yea in great faithfulness.
139 It has destroyed me zeal my for they have forgotten words your opponents my.
My zeal, hath put an end to me, for mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.
140 [has been] refined Word your exceedingly and servant your he loves it.
Refined is thy word, to the uttermost, and, thy servant loveth it.
141 [am] insignificant I and [am] despised precepts your not I have forgotten.
Small, am I, and despised, Thy precepts, have I not forgotten.
142 Righteousness your [is] righteousness for ever and law your [is] truth.
Thy righteousness, is righteous to times age-abiding, and, thy law, is truth.
143 Distress and anguish they have found me commandments your [are] delight my.
Straitness and distress, have befallen me, Thy commandments, are my dear delights.
144 [are] righteousness Testimonies your for ever give understanding me so I may live.
Righteous are thy testimonies, unto times age-abiding, Give me understanding, that I may live.
145 I call out with all [the] heart answer me O Yahweh decrees your I will observe.
[KOPH.] I have cried out with all my heart, answer me, O Yahweh; Thy statutes, will I observe.
146 I call out to you save me so let me keep testimonies your.
I have cried out unto thee, oh save me, That I may keep thy testimonies.
147 I am early in the twilight and I cried for help! (for word your *Q(K)*) I hope.
I forestalled the twilight, and cried for help, For thy word, I waited.
148 They anticipate eyes my [the] night-watches to meditate on word your.
Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, To meditate in thy word.
149 Voice my hear! according to covenant loyalty your O Yahweh according to judgments your preserve alive me.
My voice, O hear, according to thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh! according to thy wont, give me life.
150 They draw near [those who] pursue wickedness from law your they are distant.
They have drawn near, who pursue villainy, From thy law, have they gone far away.
151 [are] near You O Yahweh and all commandments your [are] truth.
Near art thou, O Yahweh, and, all thy commandments, are truth.
152 Antiquity I have known from testimonies your that for ever you have established them.
Long, have I known, from thy testimonies, That, to times age-abiding, thou didst establish them.
153 See affliction my and rescue me for law your not I have forgotten.
[RESH.] Behold mine affliction, and rescue me, For, thy law, have I not forgotten.
154 Conduct! case my and redeem me to word your preserve alive me.
Plead my cause, and redeem me, By thy word, give me life
155 [is] far From wicked [people] salvation for decrees your not they have sought.
Far from the lawless, is salvation, For, thy statutes, have they not sought.
156 Compassion your [are] great - O Yahweh according to judgments your preserve alive me.
Thy compassions, are great, O Yahweh, According to thy regulations, give me life.
157 [are] many [those who] harass Me and foes my from testimonies your not I have turned aside.
Many, are my persecutors and mine adversaries, From thy testimonies, have I not swerved.
158 I see [those who] act treacherously and I felt disgust! that word your not they have kept.
I have seen traitors, and felt loathing, Because, thy word, they kept not.
159 See that precepts your I love O Yahweh according to covenant loyalty your preserve alive me.
See thou that, thy precepts, I have loved, O Yahweh, according to thy lovingkindness, give me life.
160 [the] head of Word your [is] truth and [is] for ever every judgment of righteousness of your.
The sum of thy word, is truth, and, age-abiding, is every one of thy righteous regulations.
161 Icials they have harassed me without cause (and from word your *Q(K)*) it is in dread heart my.
[SHIN.] Rulers, have persecuted me, without cause, But, of thy word, hath my heart stood in awe.
162 [am] rejoicing I on word your like [one who] brings out plunder much.
Joyful am I over thy word, Like the finder of spoil in abundance.
163 Falsehood I hate and I abhor law your I love.
Falsehood, I hate and abhor, Thy law, do I love.
164 Seven [times] in the day I praise you on [the] judgments of righteousness your.
Seven times in the day, have I praised thee, For thy righteous regulations.
165 Peace great [belongs] to [those who] love law your and not [belongs] to them a stumbling block.
Blessing in abundance, have the lovers of thy law, and nothing to make them stumble.
166 I wait for salvation your O Yahweh and commandments your I do.
I have looked for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy commandments, have I done.
167 It keeps self my testimonies your and I have loved them exceedingly.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies, yea I have loved them greatly.
168 I keep precepts your and testimonies your for all ways my [are] before you.
I have kept thy precepts, and thy testimonies, For, all my ways, are before thee.
169 May it draw near cry of entreaty my before you O Yahweh according to word your give understanding me.
[TAU] Let my shouting come near before thee, O Yahweh, According to thy word, give me understanding.
170 May it come supplication my before you according to word your deliver me.
Let my supplication come in before thee, According to thy word, deliver me.
171 May they pour forth lips my praise for you teach me decrees your.
My lips, shall pour out, praise, When thou shalt teach me thy statutes.
172 May it sing tongue my word your for all commandments your [are] righteousness.
My tongue, shall respond, with thy word, For, all thy commandments, are righteous.
173 May it be hand your [about] to help me for precepts your I have chosen.
Be thy hand ready to help me, For, thy statutes, have I chosen.
174 I long for salvation your O Yahweh and law your [is] delight my.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Yahweh, and, thy law, is my dear delight.
175 May it live self my so it may praise you and judgments your may they help me.
Let my soul live, that it may praise thee, So shall thy regulation help me.
176 I have gone astray like a sheep lost seek servant your for commandments your not I have forgotten.
