Psalms 118
1 Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Tacken HERREN, ty han är god, ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.
2 Let it say please Israel that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Så säge Israel, ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.
3 Let them say please [the] house of Aaron that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Så säge Arons hus, ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.
4 Let them say please [those] fearing Yahweh that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Så säge de som frukta HERREN, ty hans nåd varar evinnerligen.
5 From the distress I called out to Yahweh he answered me in roomy place Yahweh.
I mitt trångmål åkallade jag HERREN, och HERREN svarade mig och ställde mig på rymlig plats.
6 Yahweh [is] for me not I will be afraid what? will he do to me anyone.
HERREN står mig bi, jag skall icke frukta; vad kunna människor göra mig?
7 Yahweh [is] for me helper my and I I will look on [those who] hate me.
HERREN står mig bi, han är min hjälpare, och jag skall få se med lust på dem som hata mig.
8 [is] good To take refuge in Yahweh more than to trust in humankind.
Bättre är att taga sin tillflykt till HERREN än att förlita sig på människor.
9 [is] good To take refuge in Yahweh more than to trust in noble [people].
Bättre är att taga sin tillflykt till HERREN än att förlita sig på furstar.
10 All nations they surrounded me in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
Alla hedningar omringa mig, men i HERRENS namn skall jag förgöra dem.
11 They surrounded me also they surrounded me in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
De omringa mig, ja, de omringa mig, men i HERRENS namn skall jag förgöra dem.
12 They surrounded me like bees they were extinguished like a fire of thorns in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
De omringa mig såsom bin, men de slockna såsom eld i törne; i HERRENS namn skall jag förgöra dem.
13 Certainly you pushed me to fall and Yahweh he helped me.
Man stöter mig hårdeligen, för att jag skall falla, men HERREN hjälper mig.
14 [is] might My and strength Yahweh and he has become of me salvation.
HERREN är min starkhet och min lovsång, och han blev mig till frälsning.
15 [the] sound of - A shout of joy and salvation [is] in [the] tents of righteous [people] [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] doing strength.

16 [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] exalting [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] doing strength.

17 Not I will die for I will live and I may recount [the] deeds of Yahweh.
Jag skall icke dö, utan leva och förtälja HERRENS gärningar.
18 Certainly he has disciplined me Yahweh and to death not he has given me.
Väl tuktade mig HERREN, men han gav mig icke åt döden.
19 Open to me [the] gates of righteousness I will go in them I will give thanks to Yahweh.
Öppnen för mig rättfärdighetens portar; jag vill gå in genom dem och tacka HERREN.
20 This the gate [belongs] to Yahweh righteous [people] they will go in it.

21 I will give thanks to you for you answered me and you have become of me salvation.

24 This the day he has made Yahweh let us be glad and let us rejoice in it.

25 We beg you O Yahweh save! please we beg you O Yahweh grant success! please.
Ack HERRE, fräls! Ack HERRE, låt väl gå!
26 [be] blessed The [one who] comes in [the] name of Yahweh we bless you from [the] house of Yahweh.
Välsignad vare han som kommer, i HERRENS namn. Vi välsigna eder från HERRENS hus.
27 [is] God - Yahweh and he has given light to us bind a festival sacrifice with ropes to [the] horns of the altar.
HERREN är Gud, och han gav oss ljus. Ordnen eder i högtidsled, med lövrika kvistar i händerna, fram till altarets horn.
28 [are] God My you and I will give thanks to you O God my I will exalt you.
Du är min Gud, och jag vill tacka dig; min Gud, jag vill upphöja dig.
29 Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
