Psalms 118
1 Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Adjatok hálát az Örökkévalónak, mert jóságos, mert örökké tart a kegyelme.
2 Let it say please Israel that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Mondja csak Izraél: mert örökké tart a kegyelme!
3 Let them say please [the] house of Aaron that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Mondják csak Áron háza: mert örökké tart a hegyelme!
4 Let them say please [those] fearing Yahweh that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
Mondják csak az istenfélők mert örökké tart a kegyelme!
5 From the distress I called out to Yahweh he answered me in roomy place Yahweh.
szorongásból szólítottam Jáht, tág térrel meghallgatott engem Jáh.
6 Yahweh [is] for me not I will be afraid what? will he do to me anyone.
Az Örökkévaló mellettem van, nem félek; mit tehet ember nekem?
7 Yahweh [is] for me helper my and I I will look on [those who] hate me.
Az Örökkévaló mellettem van segítöim közt, s én majd rájuk nézek gyülölőimre.
8 [is] good To take refuge in Yahweh more than to trust in humankind.
Jobb menedéket keresni az Örökkévalóban, mint bízni az emberben.
9 [is] good To take refuge in Yahweh more than to trust in noble [people].
Jobb menedéket keresni az Örökkévalóban, mint bízni nemesekben.
10 All nations they surrounded me in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
Mind a nemzetek körülvettek – az Örökkévaló nevében, bizony szétvágom őket.
11 They surrounded me also they surrounded me in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
Körülvettek, körül is fogtak – az Örökkévaló nevében, bizony szétvágom őket.
12 They surrounded me like bees they were extinguished like a fire of thorns in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
Körülvettek mint a méhek – ellohadtak mint a tövisek tűze; az Örökkévaló nevében, bizony szétvágom őket.
13 Certainly you pushed me to fall and Yahweh he helped me.
Taszítva taszítottál engem, hogy elessem, de az Örökkévaló megsegített.
14 [is] might My and strength Yahweh and he has become of me salvation.
Erőm és énekem Jáh, ő lett nekem segítségül.
15 [the] sound of - A shout of joy and salvation [is] in [the] tents of righteous [people] [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] doing strength.
Ujjongás és segítség hangja az igazak sátraiban; az Örökkévaló jobbja hatalmast végez!
16 [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] exalting [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] doing strength.
Az Örökkévaló jobbja fölemel, az Örökkévaló jobbja hatalmast végez!
17 Not I will die for I will live and I may recount [the] deeds of Yahweh.
Nem halok meg, hanem élni fogok és elbeszélem Jáh tetteit.
18 Certainly he has disciplined me Yahweh and to death not he has given me.
Fenyítve fenyített engem Jáh, de a halálnak nem adott át.
19 Open to me [the] gates of righteousness I will go in them I will give thanks to Yahweh.
Nyissátok ki nekem az igazság kapuit, bemegyek rajtuk, magasztalom Jáht.
20 This the gate [belongs] to Yahweh righteous [people] they will go in it.
Ez a kapu az Örökkévalóé, igazak mennek be rajta.
21 I will give thanks to you for you answered me and you have become of me salvation.
Hadd magasztallak, mert meghallgattál s lettél nekem segítségül.
22 A stone [which] they rejected the builders it has become [the] head of [the] corner.
A kő, melyet megvetettek az építők, saroknak fejévé lett.
23 From with Yahweh it has come this it it is wonderful in view our.
Az Örökkévalótól történt ez, csodálatos az szemeinkben.
24 This the day he has made Yahweh let us be glad and let us rejoice in it.
Ez az a nap, melyet szerzett az Örökkévaló, hadd vigadjunk és örüljünk rajta,
25 We beg you O Yahweh save! please we beg you O Yahweh grant success! please.
Oh Örökkévaló, segíts csak, oh Örökkévaló, boldogíts csak!
26 [be] blessed The [one who] comes in [the] name of Yahweh we bless you from [the] house of Yahweh.
Áldva legyen, a ki jön az Örökkévaló nevében, áldunk titeket az Örökkévaló házából.
27 [is] God - Yahweh and he has given light to us bind a festival sacrifice with ropes to [the] horns of the altar.
Isten az Örökkévaló és világosságot adott nekünk, kössétek hozzá az ünnepi áldozatot kötelekkel az oltár szarvaihoz.
28 [are] God My you and I will give thanks to you O God my I will exalt you.
Istenem vagy s magasztallak, én Istenem, dicsöítlek.
29 Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
