Psalms 111

1 Praise Yahweh - I will give thanks to Yahweh with all [the] heart in [the] council of upright [people] and [the] congregation.

Haalleluuyaa. Ani waldaa tolootaatii fi wal gaʼii keessatti, garaa koo guutuudhaan Waaqayyoon nan galateeffadha.

2 [are] great [the] works of Yahweh [they are] studied by all [those] delighting in them.

Hojiin Waaqayyoo guddaa dha; warri itti gammadan hundinuus irra deddeebiʼanii yaadan.

3 [is] splendor And majesty work his and righteousness his [is] enduring for ever.

Hojiin isaa surra qabeessaa fi kabajamaa dha; qajeelummaan isaas bara baraan jiraata.

4 Remembrance he has appointed of wonders his [is] gracious and compassionate Yahweh.

Inni akka dinqiin isaa yaadatamu godheera; Waaqayyo arjaa fi gara laafessa.

5 Food he gives to [those] fearing him he remembers for ever covenant his.

Inni warra isa sodaataniif nyaata kenna; kakuu isaas bara baraan ni yaadata.

6 [the] power of Works his he has declared to people his to give to them an inheritance of nations.

Lafa saboota kaanii isaaniif kennuudhaan humna hojii isaa saba isaatti mulʼiseera.

7 [the] works of Hands his [are] faithfulness and justice [are] reliable all precepts his.

Hojiin harka isaa amanamaa fi qajeelaa dha; ajajni isaa hundinuus amanamaa dha.

8 [they are] sustained For ever for ever [they are] done in faithfulness and upright[ness].

Isaanis bara baraa hamma bara baraatti jabaatanii dhaabatu; amanamummaa fi qajeelummaadhaanis hojjetamu.

9 Redemption - he sent for people his he ordained for ever covenant his [is] holy and to be feared name his.

Inni saba isaatiif furii ergeera; kakuu isaas bara baraan ajajeera; maqaan isaa qulqulluu fi sodaachisaa dha.

10 [is the] beginning of Wisdom - [the] fear of Yahweh an understanding good [belongs] to all [those who] do them praise his [is] enduring for ever.

Waaqayyoon sodaachuun jalqaba ogummaa ti; warri sirna isaa faana buʼan hundinuu hubannaa gaarii qabu. Galanni isaa bara baraan jiraata.
