Psalms 108

1 A song a psalm of David. [is] steadfast Heart my O God I will sing and I will sing praises also honor my.

Ein song, ein salme av David. Mitt hjarta er roleg, Gud, eg vil syngja og lovsyngja, ja, det skal mi æra.

2 Awake! O lyre and harp I will waken [the] dawn.

Vakna, harpa og cither! eg vil vekkja morgonroden.

3 I will give thanks you among the peoples - O Yahweh and I will sing praises to you not nations.

Eg vil prisa deg millom folki, Herre, eg vil lovsyngja deg millom folkeslagi.

4 For [is] great above [the] heavens covenant loyalty your and [is] to [the] clouds faithfulness your.

For di miskunn er stor yver himmelen, og din truskap til dei høge skyer.

5 Be exalted! above [the] heavens O God and [be] over all the earth glory your.

Gud, syn deg høg yver himmelen, og di æra yver heile jordi!

6 So that they may be rescued! beloved [ones] your save! right [hand] your and answer me.

At dei du elskar må verta frelste, hjelp oss med di høgre hand og bønhøyr oss!

7 God - he has spoken in sanctuary his I will triumph I will divide up Shechem and [the] Valley of Succoth I will measure off.

Gud hev tala i sin heilagdom. «Eg vil gleda meg, eg vil skifta ut Sikem, og Sukkotdalen vil eg mæla.

8 [belongs] to Me Gilead - [belongs] to me Manasseh and Ephraim [is] [the] protection of head my Judah [is] commander's staff my.

Meg høyrer Gilead til, meg høyrer Manasse til, og Efraim er verja for mitt hovud, Juda er min førarstav.

9 Moab - [is] [the] pot of washing my over Edom I throw sandal my over Philistia I shout in triumph.

10 Who? will he bring me a city of fortification who? will he lead me to Edom.

11 ¿ Not O God have you rejected us and not you go out O God with armies our.

Hev ikkje du, Gud, støytt oss burt? og du, Gud, gjeng ikkje ut med våre herar.

12 Give! to us help from [the] foe and [is] worthlessness [the] deliverance of humankind.

Gjev oss hjelp mot fienden! for mannehjelp er fåfengd.

13 In God we will do strength and he he will tread down opponents our.

Med Guds hjelp skal me gjera storverk, og han skal treda ned våre fiendar.
