< Psalms 104 >

1 Bless O self my Yahweh O Yahweh God my you are great exceedingly splendor and majesty you are clothed.
Bless, O my soul, Yahweh, —Yahweh, my God, thou art exceedingly great, With honour and majesty, hast thou clothed thyself,
2 [you are] wrapping yourself Light like garment [you are] stretching out [the] heavens like tent curtain.
Putting on light, as a robe, Stretching out the heavens, as a curtain;
3 The [one who] makes beams for on the waters upper rooms his the [one who] makes clouds chariot his the [one who] walks on [the] wings of [the] wind.
Building, in the waters, his upper chambers, —Who maketh clouds his chariot, Who passeth along on the wings of the wind;
4 [he is] making Messengers his winds servants his a fire flaming.
Making His messengers, winds, His attendants, a flaming fire;
5 He established [the] earth on foundations its not it will be shaken forever and ever.
He hath fixed the earth on its foundations, It is not to be shaken, to times age-abiding and beyond.
6 [the] deep Like clothing you covered it above [the] mountains they stood [the] waters.
With the resounding deep—as a garment, hast thou covered it, Above the mountains, stand the waters;
7 From rebuke your they fled! from [the] sound of thunder your they hurried away!
At thy rebuke, they flee, At the voice of thy thunder, they hurry away;
8 They went up mountains they went down valleys to [the] place which - you had established for them.
Mountains rise, Valleys sink, Unto the place which thou hast fixed for them;
9 A boundary you set [which] not they will pass! not they will return! to cover the earth.
Bounds, hast thou set, which they are not to pass over, They are not to return to cover the earth.
10 The [one who] sends forth springs in the wadis between [the] mountains they go!
Who hast sent forth springs, through the torrent-beds, Between the mountains, they flow along;
11 They give drink to every animal of [the] field they break wild donkeys thirst their.
They give drink, to every wild beast of the field, The wild asses do break their thirst.
12 At them [the] bird[s] of the heavens it dwells from between foliage they give forth voice.
Over them, the bird of the heavens settleth down, From amidst the foliage, they utter a voice.
13 [he is] watering Mountains from upper rooms his from [the] fruit of works your it is satisfied the earth.
Who watereth the mountains out of his upper chambers, Out of the fruit of thy works, thou satisfiest the earth.
14 [he is] causing to grow Grass - for the cattle and vegetation for [the] labor of humankind to bring forth food from the earth.
Who causeth the grass to shoot forth for the cattle, And the herb, for the service of man, That he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 And wine - [which] it makes glad [the] heart of humankind to make shine faces from oil and food [which the] heart of humankind it sustains.
And, wine, may rejoice the heart of man, Making radiant his well-nourished face, —And, food, may, the heart of man, sustain.
16 They are satisfied [the] trees of Yahweh [the] cedars of Lebanon which he planted.
Satisfied are, The trees of Yahweh, The cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17 Where there birds they make nests [the] stork [is] fir trees home its.
Where the birds build their nests, The stork, in the fir-trees, hath her house;
18 [the] mountains High [belong] to the mountain goats crags [are] a refuge for the rock badgers.
The high mountains, are for the chamois, The crags, are a refuge for the conies.
19 He made [the] moon for appointed times [the] sun it knows setting its.
He hath made the moon for seasons, And, the sun, knoweth his place for entering in.
20 You make darkness and it may be night in it it moves about every animal of [the] forest.
Thou causest darkness, and it becometh night, Therein, creepeth forth, Every wild beast of the forest;
21 The young lions [are] roaring for the prey and to seek from God food their.
The young lions, roaring for prey, And seeking, from GOD, their food.
22 It rises the sun they gather! and into dens their they lie down!
The sun ariseth, they withdraw themselves, And, in their lairs, lay them down.
23 He goes out a person to work his and to labor his until evening.
Man goeth forth to his work, And to his labour, until evening.
24 How! they are many works your - O Yahweh all of them with wisdom you have made it is full the earth creature[s] your.
How thy works abound, O Yahweh! All of them—in wisdom, hast thou made, The earth is full of thy possession: —
25 This - the sea [is] great and wide of both hands [are] there moving thing[s] and there not [is] a number living creatures small with large.
This sea here, is great and broad on both hands, —Wherein are creeping things, even without number, Living things, small with great;
26 There ships they go about! Leviathan which you formed to play in it.
There, ships, sail along, This sea-monster, thou hast formed to sport therein;
27 All of them to you they wait! to give food their at appropriate time its.
All of them, for thee, do wait, That thou mayest give them their food in its season;
28 You give to them they gather! you open hand your they are satisfied! good thing[s].
Thou givest unto them, they gather, Thou openest thy hand, they are satisfied with good.
29 You hide face your they are terrified! you withdraw breath their they die! and to dust their they return!
Thou hidest thy face, they are dismayed, Thou withdrawest their spirit, They cease to breathe, And, unto their own dust, do they return:
30 You send forth spirit your they are created! and you may renew [the] surface of [the] ground.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created, And thou renewest the face of the ground.
31 May it be [the] glory of Yahweh for ever may he rejoice Yahweh in works his.
Be thy glory, O Yahweh, to times age-abiding, Let Yahweh rejoice in his own works:
32 The [one who] looks to the earth and it trembled he touches the mountains so they may smoke.
Who looketh at the earth, and it trembleth, He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
33 I will sing to Yahweh in life my I will sing praises to God my in duration my.
I will sing to Yahweh, as long as I live! Yea I will touch the strings to my God, while I continue;
34 May it be pleasing to him meditation my I I rejoice in Yahweh.
Pleasing unto him, be my (meditation) I, will rejoice in Yahweh.
35 Let them be destroyed sinners - from the earth and wicked [people] - [be] again not they bless O self my Yahweh praise Yahweh.
Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth And, the lawless, no more, shall exist, —Bless, O my soul, Yahweh, Praise ye Yah!
