Psalms 104
1 Bless O self my Yahweh O Yahweh God my you are great exceedingly splendor and majesty you are clothed.
Blagoslivljaj Jahvu, dušo moja, Jahve, Bože moj, silno si velik! Odjeven veličanstvom i ljepotom,
2 [you are] wrapping yourself Light like garment [you are] stretching out [the] heavens like tent curtain.
svjetlošću ogrnut kao plaštem! Nebo si razapeo kao šator,
3 The [one who] makes beams for on the waters upper rooms his the [one who] makes clouds chariot his the [one who] walks on [the] wings of [the] wind.
na vodama sagradio dvorove svoje. Od oblaka praviš kola svoja, na krilima vjetrova putuješ.
4 [he is] making Messengers his winds servants his a fire flaming.
Vjetrove uzimaš za glasnike, a žarki oganj za slugu svojega.
5 He established [the] earth on foundations its not it will be shaken forever and ever.
Zemlju si stavio na stupove njene: neće se poljuljati u vijeke vjekova,
6 [the] deep Like clothing you covered it above [the] mountains they stood [the] waters.
pokrio si je vodama bezdanim k'o haljinom, iznad bregova stajahu vode;
7 From rebuke your they fled! from [the] sound of thunder your they hurried away!
na tvoju se prijetnju povukoše, od tvoje grmljavine zadrhtaše.
8 They went up mountains they went down valleys to [the] place which - you had established for them.
Bregovi se digoše, doline spustiše na mjesto koje si im odredio.
9 A boundary you set [which] not they will pass! not they will return! to cover the earth.
Odredio si granicu koju ne smiju prijeći, da opet ne pokriju zemlju.
10 The [one who] sends forth springs in the wadis between [the] mountains they go!
Izvore svraćaš u potoke što žubore među brdima.
11 They give drink to every animal of [the] field they break wild donkeys thirst their.
Oni poje sve živine poljske, divlji magarci žeđ gase u njima.
12 At them [the] bird[s] of the heavens it dwells from between foliage they give forth voice.
Uz njih se gnijezde ptice nebeske i pjevaju među granama.
13 [he is] watering Mountains from upper rooms his from [the] fruit of works your it is satisfied the earth.
Ti natapaš bregove iz dvorova svojih, zemlja se nasićuje plodom tvojih ruku.
14 [he is] causing to grow Grass - for the cattle and vegetation for [the] labor of humankind to bring forth food from the earth.
Ti daješ te niče trava za stoku i bilje na korist čovjeku da izvede kruh iz zemlje
15 And wine - [which] it makes glad [the] heart of humankind to make shine faces from oil and food [which the] heart of humankind it sustains.
i vino što razvedruje srce čovječje; da uljem lice osvježi i da kruh okrijepi srce čovjeku.
16 They are satisfied [the] trees of Yahweh [the] cedars of Lebanon which he planted.
Stabla se Jahvina napajaju hranom, cedri libanonski koje on zasadi.
17 Where there birds they make nests [the] stork [is] fir trees home its.
Ondje se ptice gnijezde, u čempresu dom je rodin.
18 [the] mountains High [belong] to the mountain goats crags [are] a refuge for the rock badgers.
Visoki bregovi daju kozorogu a pećine jazavcu sklonište.
19 He made [the] moon for appointed times [the] sun it knows setting its.
Ti si stvorio mjesec da označuje vremena i sunce znade kada ima zaći.
20 You make darkness and it may be night in it it moves about every animal of [the] forest.
Kad razastreš tmine i noć se spusti, tad se šuljaju u njoj životinje šumske.
21 The young lions [are] roaring for the prey and to seek from God food their.
Lavići riču za plijenom i od Boga hranu traže.
22 It rises the sun they gather! and into dens their they lie down!
Kad sunce ograne, nestaju i liježu na ležaje.
23 He goes out a person to work his and to labor his until evening.
Tad čovjek izlazi na dnevni posao i na rad do večeri.
24 How! they are many works your - O Yahweh all of them with wisdom you have made it is full the earth creature[s] your.
Kako su brojna tvoja djela, o Jahve! Sve si to mudro učinio: puna je zemlja stvorenja tvojih.
25 This - the sea [is] great and wide of both hands [are] there moving thing[s] and there not [is] a number living creatures small with large.
Eno mora, velika i široka, u njemu vrve gmazovi bez broja, životinje male i velike.
26 There ships they go about! Leviathan which you formed to play in it.
Onud prolaze nemani, Levijatan kojeg stvori da se igra u njemu.
27 All of them to you they wait! to give food their at appropriate time its.
I sva ova bića željno čekaju da ih nahraniš na vrijeme.
28 You give to them they gather! you open hand your they are satisfied! good thing[s].
Daješ li im, tada sabiru: otvaraš li ruku, nasite se dobrima.
29 You hide face your they are terrified! you withdraw breath their they die! and to dust their they return!
Sakriješ li lice svoje, tad se rastuže; ako dah im oduzmeš, ugibaju i opet se u prah vraćaju.
30 You send forth spirit your they are created! and you may renew [the] surface of [the] ground.
Pošalješ li dah svoj, opet nastaju, i tako obnavljaš lice zemlje.
31 May it be [the] glory of Yahweh for ever may he rejoice Yahweh in works his.
Neka dovijeka traje slava Jahvina: nek' se raduje Jahve u djelima svojim!
32 The [one who] looks to the earth and it trembled he touches the mountains so they may smoke.
On pogleda zemlju i ona se potrese, dotakne bregove, oni se zadime.
33 I will sing to Yahweh in life my I will sing praises to God my in duration my.
Pjevat ću Jahvi dokle god živim, svirat ću Bogu svome dokle god me bude.
34 May it be pleasing to him meditation my I I rejoice in Yahweh.
Bilo mu milo pjevanje moje! Ja ću se radovati u Jahvi.
35 Let them be destroyed sinners - from the earth and wicked [people] - [be] again not they bless O self my Yahweh praise Yahweh.
Nek' zločinci sa zemlje nestanu i bezbožnika nek' više ne bude! Blagoslivljaj Jahvu, dušo moja! Aleluja!
