Psalms 10
1 Why? O Yahweh do you stand at a distance do you hide? to times of trouble.
याहवेह, आप दूर क्यों खड़े हैं? संकट के समय आप स्वयं को क्यों छिपा लेते हैं?
2 In [the] pride of [the] wicked he hotly pursues [the] afflicted they are caught - by schemes which they have planned.
दुर्जन अपने अहंकार में असहाय निर्धन को खदेड़ते हैं, दुर्जन अपनी ही रची गई युक्तियों में फंसकर रह जाएं.
3 For he boasts a wicked [person] on [the] desire of self his and [one] greedy for unjust gain he blesses he spurns - Yahweh.
दुर्जन की मनोकामना पूर्ण होती जाती है, तब वह इसका घमंड करता है; लालची पुरुष याहवेह की निंदा करता तथा उनसे अलग हो जाता है.
4 A wicked [person] according to [the] haughtiness of nose his not he seeks [are] there not [is] a god all thoughts his.
दुष्ट अपने अहंकार में परमेश्वर की कामना ही नहीं करता; वह अपने मन में मात्र यही विचार करता रहता है: परमेश्वर है ही नहीं.
5 They endure (ways his *Q(k)*) at every time [are] height judgments your from before him all opposers his he breathes out at them.
दुष्ट के प्रयास सदैव सफल होते जाते हैं; उसके सामने आपके आदेशों का कोई महत्व है ही नहीं; उसके समस्त विरोधी उसके सामने तुच्छ हैं.
6 He says in heart his not I will be shaken to a generation and a generation who not in distress.
वह स्वयं को आश्वासन देता रहता है: “मैं विचलित न होऊंगा, मेरी किसी भी पीढ़ी में कोई भी विपदा नहीं आ सकती.”
7 A curse mouth his it is full and deceit and oppression [are] under tongue his mischief and wickedness.
उसका मुख शाप, छल तथा अत्याचार से भरा रहता है; उसकी जीभ उत्पात और दुष्टता छिपाए रहती है.
8 He sits - in an ambush of villages in hiding places he kills [the] innocent eyes his for an unfortunate person they lie hidden.
वह गांवों के निकट घात लगाए बैठा रहता है; वह छिपकर निर्दोष की हत्या करता है. उसकी आंखें चुपचाप असहाय की ताक में रहती हैं;
9 He lies in wait in hiding place - like a lion in lair its he lies in wait to seize [the] afflicted he seizes [the] afflicted when drags [him] away he in net his.
वह प्रतीक्षा में घात लगाए हुए बैठा रहता है, जैसे झाड़ी में सिंह. घात में बैठे हुए उसका लक्ष्य होता है निर्धन-दुःखी, वह उसे अपने जाल में फंसा घसीटकर ले जाता है.
10 (He is crushed *Q(K)*) he is bowed down and he falls among mighty [ones] his (an army of disheartened [people]. *Q(K)*)
वह दुःखी दब कर झुक जाता; और उसकी शक्ति के सामने पराजित हो जाता है.
11 He says in heart his he has forgotten God he has hidden face his not he sees to perpetuity.
उस दुष्ट की यह मान्यता है, “परमेश्वर सब भूल चुके हैं; उन्होंने अपना मुख छिपा लिया है, वह यह सब कभी नहीं देखेंगे.”
12 Arise! O Yahweh O God lift up hand your may not you forget (humble [people]. *Q(K)*)
याहवेह, उठिए, अपना हाथ उठाइये, परमेश्वर! इन दुष्टों को दंड दीजिए, दुःखितों को भुला न दीजिए.
13 Concerning what? - has he spurned [the] wicked - God has he said? in heart his not you will seek.
दुष्ट परमेश्वर का तिरस्कार करते हुए अपने मन में क्यों कहता रहता है, “परमेश्वर इसका लेखा लेंगे ही नहीं”?
14 You have seen that you - mischief and vexation - you pay attention to put in hand your on you he abandons an unfortunate person [the] fatherless you - you are a helper.
किंतु निःसंदेह आपने सब कुछ देखा है, आपने यातना और उत्पीड़न पर ध्यान दिया है; आप स्थिति को अपने नियंत्रण में ले लें. दुःखी और लाचार स्वयं को आपके हाथों में सौंप रहे हैं; क्योंकि आप ही सहायक हैं अनाथों के.
15 Break [the] arm of [the] wicked and [the] evil you will seek wickedness his not you will find.
कुटिल और दुष्ट का भुजबल तोड़ दीजिए; उसकी दुष्टता का लेखा उस समय तक लेते रहिए जब तक कुछ भी दुष्टता शेष न रह जाए.
16 Yahweh [is] king forever and ever they have perished [the] nations from land his.
सदा-सर्वदा के लिए याहवेह महाराजाधिराज हैं; उनके राज्य में से अन्य जनता मिट गए हैं.
17 [the] desire of Humble [people] you have heard O Yahweh you establish heart their you cause to pay attention ear your.
याहवेह, आपने विनीत की अभिलाषा पर दृष्टि की है; आप उनके हृदय को आश्वासन प्रदान करेंगे,
18 To vindicate [the] fatherless and [the] oppressed not he will repeat again to terrify humankind from the earth.
अनाथ तथा दुःखित की रक्षा के लिए, आपका ध्यान उनकी वाणी पर लगा रहेगा कि मिट्टी से बना मानव अब से पुनः आतंक प्रसारित न करे.
