Psalms 1

1 How blessed! [is] the person who - not he walks in [the] counsel of wicked [people] and in [the] way of sinners not he stands and in [the] seat of mockers not he sits.

Phước cho những người không theo mưu ác của kẻ dữ, không đứng trong đường của tội nhân, không ngồi với phường phỉ báng.

2 That except [is] in [the] law of Yahweh delight his and in law his he meditates by day and night.

Nhưng ưa thích luật pháp của Chúa Hằng Hữu, ngày và đêm suy nghiệm luật pháp Ngài.

3 And he is like a tree planted at streams of water which fruit its - it gives at appropriate time its and leafage its not it withers and all that he does it succeeds.

Những người như thể ấy như cây bên dòng suối, sinh hoa trái thơm lành. Lá xanh mãi không tàn, và mọi việc người làm đều hưng thịnh.

4 Not [are] so the wicked [people] that except [they are] like the chaff which it drives about it wind.

Còn người ác thì ngược lại! Chúng như rơm rác theo làn gió cuốn đi.

5 There-fore - not they will stand wicked [people] in the judgment and sinners in [the] congregation of righteous [people].

Vì vậy, người ác không đứng nổi trong ngày phán xét. Tội nhân cũng chẳng ngồi trong hội người tin kính.

6 For [is] knowing Yahweh [the] way of righteous [people] and [the] way of wicked [people] it will perish.

Vì Chúa Hằng Hữu biết đường người tin kính, còn đường người ác dẫn đến hư vong.
