Proverbs 7
1 O son my keep words my and commandments my you will treasure with you.
हे मेरो छोरो, मेरा वचनहरू पालन गर्, र मेरा आज्ञाहरू तँभित्र सञ्चय गरेर राख् ।
2 Keep commandments my and live and instruction my like [the] pupil of eyes your.
मेरा आज्ञाहरू पालन गरेर बाँच्, र मेरो निर्देशनलाई तेरो आँखाको नानीजस्तै जोगाइराख् ।
3 Bind them on fingers your write them on [the] tablet of heart your.
तिनलाई तेरा औँलाहरूमा बेह्रेर राख् । तिनलाई तेरो हृदयको पाटीमा लेखेर राख् ।
4 Say to wisdom [are] sister my you and a relative to discernment you will call.
बुद्धिलाई भन्, “तिमी मेरी बहिनी हौँ,” र समझशक्तिलाई आफ्नो आफन्त भन् ।
5 To keep you from a woman strange from a foreign [woman] [who] words her she makes smooth.
तब तिनले तँलाई व्यभिचारी स्त्री र अनैतिक स्त्रीको मोहित तुल्याउने कुराहरूबाट बचाउने छन् ।
6 For at [the] window of house my through lattice my I looked down.
मेरो घरको झ्यालमा बसेर मैले आँखी-झ्यालबाट हेर्दै थिएँ ।
7 And I saw among the naive people I observed among the sons a youth lacking of heart.
मैले सोझा मानिसहरूलाई हेरेँ, र युवाहरूका बिचमा एक जना निर्बुद्धिलाई ख्याल गरेँ ।
8 [who] was passing by In the street beside corner her and [the] direction of house her he strode.
त्यो जवान मानिस त्यस स्त्री बस्ने गल्ली नजिकबाट गयो, र त्यो स्त्रीको घरतर्फ लाग्यो ।
9 At twilight in [the] evening of [the] day in [the] middle of [the] night and darkness.
साँझको बेलामा दिन ढल्कँदै थियो, जुन बेला अन्धकार छाएको थियो ।
10 And there! a woman to meet him [the] garment of a prostitute and guarded of heart.
एउटी स्त्रीले त्यसलाई भेटी, जसले वेश्याले जस्तै पहिरन लगाएकी थिई र त्यसको हृदय धूर्त थियो ।
11 [is] boisterous She and rebellious in house her not they stay feet her.
त्यो चञ्चली र जिद्दीवाल थिई । त्यो आफ्नो घरमा बस्दिनथी ।
12 A time - in the street a time in the open places and beside every corner she lies in wait.
त्यो कहिले सडकमा त कहिले बजारमा बस्थी, अनि हरेक कुनाकाप्चामा त्यो लुकेर बस्थी ।
13 And she takes hold on him and she kisses him she has made firm face her and she said to him.
त्यसले उसलाई पक्रेर चुम्बन गरी, र निर्लज्ज चेहरा लिएर भनी,
14 Sacrifices of peace offerings [are] on me this day I have paid vows my.
“आज मैले आफ्नो मेलबलि चढाएँ; मेरा भाकलहरू पुरा गरेँ ।
15 There-fore I have come out to meet you to seek face your and I have found you.
त्यसैले म तपाईंलाई भेट्न, उत्सुकतासाथ तपाईंको मुहार हेर्न आएकी हुँ, र अहिले मैले तपाईंलाई भेट्टाएकी छु ।
16 Coverings I have spread couch my colored fabrics linen of Egypt.
मैले मेरो ओछ्यानमा मिश्र देशको रङ्गिन तन्ना ओछ्याएकी छु ।
17 I have sprinkled bed my myrrh aloes and cinnamon.
मैले मेरो ओछ्यानमा मूर्र, एलवा र दालचिनी छर्केकी छु ।
18 Come! let us take our fill of love until the morning let us delight ourselves with love.
आउनुहोस्, बिहानसम्मै हामी प्रेमको सागरमा डुबौँ । हामी प्रेमको कार्यमा रमाऔँ ।
19 For not the husband [is] in house his he has gone on a journey from a distance.
किनकि मेरा पति घरमा हुनुहुन्न । उहाँ लामो यात्रामा जानुभएको छ ।
20 [the] bag of Money he has taken in hand his to [the] day of the full moon he will come house his.
उहाँले आफूसित पैसाको थैली लिएर जानुभएको छ । उहाँ पूर्णिमामा मात्र घर फर्कनुहुने छ ।”
21 She turns him with [the] greatness of persuasiveness her with [the] seductiveness of lips her she impels him.
धेरै कुराकानी गरेर त्यो उसकहाँ फर्की । त्यसले आफ्ना मोहित तुल्याउने कुराहरूलाई उसलाई फकाई ।
22 [he is] walking Behind her suddenly like an ox [which] to [the] slaughter it goes and like an anklet to [the] chastening of a fool.
मारिनलाई लगिएको गोरुझैँ र पासोमा परेको मृगझैँ त्यो अकस्मात् स्त्रीको पछि लाग्यो ।
23 Until it will pierce an arrow liver his as hurries a bird into a trap and not he knows that [is] for life his it.
वाणले त्यसको कलेजो नछेडेसम्म त्यो पछि लागरिरह्यो । त्यो जालतिर कुदिरहरेको चरोजस्तो थियो । आफ्नो ज्यानै गुमाउनुपर्थ्यो भनी त्यसलाई थाहा थिएन ।
24 And therefore O children listen to me and be attentive to [the] words of mouth my.
अब हे मेरा छोराहरू हो, मेरो कुरा सुन । मेरा मुखका वचनहरूलाई ध्यान देओ ।
25 May not it turn aside to ways her heart your may not it go astray in pathways her.
तिमीहरूको हृदय त्यसका मार्गहरूमा नलागोस् । त्यसका मार्गहरूमा बरालिएर नजाओ ।
26 For many slain [ones] she has made fall and [are] numerous all killed [men] her.
त्यसले धेरै मानिसहरूलाई फसाएकी छे । त्यसका सिकारहरू धेरै छन् ।
