Proverbs 7
1 O son my keep words my and commandments my you will treasure with you.
१हे मेरे पुत्र, मेरी बातों को माना कर, और मेरी आज्ञाओं को अपने मन में रख छोड़।
2 Keep commandments my and live and instruction my like [the] pupil of eyes your.
२मेरी आज्ञाओं को मान, इससे तू जीवित रहेगा, और मेरी शिक्षा को अपनी आँख की पुतली जान;
3 Bind them on fingers your write them on [the] tablet of heart your.
३उनको अपनी उँगलियों में बाँध, और अपने हृदय की पटिया पर लिख ले।
4 Say to wisdom [are] sister my you and a relative to discernment you will call.
४बुद्धि से कह, “तू मेरी बहन है,” और समझ को अपनी कुटुम्बी बना;
5 To keep you from a woman strange from a foreign [woman] [who] words her she makes smooth.
५तब तू पराई स्त्री से बचेगा, जो चिकनी चुपड़ी बातें बोलती है।
6 For at [the] window of house my through lattice my I looked down.
६मैंने एक दिन अपने घर की खिड़की से, अर्थात् अपने झरोखे से झाँका,
7 And I saw among the naive people I observed among the sons a youth lacking of heart.
७तब मैंने भोले लोगों में से एक निर्बुद्धि जवान को देखा;
8 [who] was passing by In the street beside corner her and [the] direction of house her he strode.
८वह उस स्त्री के घर के कोने के पास की सड़क से गुजर रहा था, और उसने उसके घर का मार्ग लिया।
9 At twilight in [the] evening of [the] day in [the] middle of [the] night and darkness.
९उस समय दिन ढल गया, और संध्याकाल आ गया था, वरन् रात का घोर अंधकार छा गया था।
10 And there! a woman to meet him [the] garment of a prostitute and guarded of heart.
१०और उससे एक स्त्री मिली, जिसका भेष वेश्या के समान था, और वह बड़ी धूर्त थी।
11 [is] boisterous She and rebellious in house her not they stay feet her.
११वह शान्ति रहित और चंचल थी, और उसके पैर घर में नहीं टिकते थे;
12 A time - in the street a time in the open places and beside every corner she lies in wait.
१२कभी वह सड़क में, कभी चौक में पाई जाती थी, और एक-एक कोने पर वह बाट जोहती थी।
13 And she takes hold on him and she kisses him she has made firm face her and she said to him.
१३तब उसने उस जवान को पकड़कर चूमा, और निर्लज्जता की चेष्टा करके उससे कहा,
14 Sacrifices of peace offerings [are] on me this day I have paid vows my.
१४“मैंने आज ही मेलबलि चढ़ाया और अपनी मन्नतें पूरी की;
15 There-fore I have come out to meet you to seek face your and I have found you.
१५इसी कारण मैं तुझ से भेंट करने को निकली, मैं तेरे दर्शन की खोजी थी, और अभी पाया है।
16 Coverings I have spread couch my colored fabrics linen of Egypt.
१६मैंने अपने पलंग के बिछौने पर मिस्र के बेलबूटेवाले कपड़े बिछाए हैं;
17 I have sprinkled bed my myrrh aloes and cinnamon.
१७मैंने अपने बिछौने पर गन्धरस, अगर और दालचीनी छिड़की है।
18 Come! let us take our fill of love until the morning let us delight ourselves with love.
१८इसलिए अब चल हम प्रेम से भोर तक जी बहलाते रहें; हम परस्पर की प्रीति से आनन्दित रहें।
19 For not the husband [is] in house his he has gone on a journey from a distance.
१९क्योंकि मेरा पति घर में नहीं है; वह दूर देश को चला गया है;
20 [the] bag of Money he has taken in hand his to [the] day of the full moon he will come house his.
२०वह चाँदी की थैली ले गया है; और पूर्णमासी को लौट आएगा।”
21 She turns him with [the] greatness of persuasiveness her with [the] seductiveness of lips her she impels him.
२१ऐसी ही लुभानेवाली बातें कह कहकर, उसने उसको फँसा लिया; और अपनी चिकनी चुपड़ी बातों से उसको अपने वश में कर लिया।
22 [he is] walking Behind her suddenly like an ox [which] to [the] slaughter it goes and like an anklet to [the] chastening of a fool.
२२वह तुरन्त उसके पीछे हो लिया, जैसे बैल कसाई-खाने को, या हिरन फंदे में कदम रखता है।
23 Until it will pierce an arrow liver his as hurries a bird into a trap and not he knows that [is] for life his it.
२३अन्त में उस जवान का कलेजा तीर से बेधा जाएगा; वह उस चिड़िया के समान है जो फंदे की ओर वेग से उड़ती है और नहीं जानती कि उससे उसके प्राण जाएँगे।
24 And therefore O children listen to me and be attentive to [the] words of mouth my.
२४अब हे मेरे पुत्रों, मेरी सुनो, और मेरी बातों पर मन लगाओ।
25 May not it turn aside to ways her heart your may not it go astray in pathways her.
२५तेरा मन ऐसी स्त्री के मार्ग की ओर न फिरे, और उसकी डगरों में भूलकर भी न जाना;
26 For many slain [ones] she has made fall and [are] numerous all killed [men] her.
२६क्योंकि बहुत से लोग उसके द्वारा मारे गए है; उसके घात किए हुओं की एक बड़ी संख्या होगी।
