Proverbs 6
1 O son my if you have stood surety for fellow-citizen your you have struck for the stranger palms your.
Hỡi con, nếu con có bảo lãnh cho kẻ lân cận mình, Nếu con giao tay mình vì người ngoại,
2 You have been ensnared by [the] words of mouth your you have been caught by [the] words of mouth your.
Thì con đã bị lời miệng mình trói buộc, Mắc phải lời của miệng con.
3 Do this then - O son my and deliver yourself for you have come in [the] palm of neighbor your go humble yourself and importune neighbor your.
Hỡi con, bởi vì con đã sa vào tay kẻ lân cận con, Hỡi làm điều nầy và giải cứu mình con: Hãy đi hạ mình xuống, nài xin người lân cận con;
4 May not you give sleep to eyes your and slumber to eyelids your.
Chớ để cho hai mắt con ngủ, Hoặc mí mắt con chợp lại;
5 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from a hand and like a bird from [the] hand of a fowler.
Hãy giải cứu mình khỏi người như con hoàng dương thoát khỏi tay thợ săn, Như con chim thoát khỏi tay kẻ đánh rập.
6 Go to an ant O sluggard consider ways its and become wise.
Hỡi kẻ biếng nhác, hãy đi đến loài kiến; Khá xem xét cách ăn ở nó mà học khôn ngoan.
7 Which not [belongs] to it [is] commander of icer and ruler.
Tuy nó không có hoặc quan tướng, Hoặc quan cai đốc, hay là quan trấn,
8 It prepares in the summer food its it gathers at the harvest food its.
Thì nó cũng biết sắm sửa lương phạn mình trong lúc mùa hè, Và thâu trữ vật thực nó trong khi mùa gặt.
9 Until when? O sluggard - will you lie down when? will you rise from sleep your.
Hỡi kẻ biếng nhác, ngươi sẽ nằm cho đến chừng nào? Bao giờ ngươi sẽ ngủ thức dậy?
10 A little of sleep a little of slumber a little of - folding of hands to rest.
Ngủ một chút, chợp mắt một chút, Khoanh tay nằm một chút,
11 And it will come like a traveler poverty your and lack your like a man of shield.
Thì sự nghèo khổ của ngươi sẽ đến như kẻ đi rảo, Và sự thiếu thốn của ngươi tới như người cầm binh khí.
12 A person of worthlessness a person of wickedness [is] walking crookedness of mouth.
Người nào đi đứng có miệng giả dối, Là một kẻ vô loại, một người gian ác;
13 [he is] winking (With eyes his *Q(K)*) [he is] scraping (with feet his *Q(K)*) [he is] pointing with fingers his.
Hắn liếc con mắt, dùng chân mình bày ý, Và lấy ngón tay mình ra dấu;
14 Perverse things - [are] in heart his [he is] devising evil at every time (contentions *Q(K)*) he sends out.
Trong lòng hắn vẫn có sự gian tà; Nó toan mưu ác luôn luôn, Và gieo sự tranh cạnh.
15 There-fore suddenly it will come disaster his an instant he will be broken and there not [will be] healing.
Bới cớ ấy, tai họa sẽ xảy đến nó thình lình; Bỗng chúc nó bị bại hoại, không phương thế chữa được.
16 Six [things] those he hates Yahweh and [are] seven ([the] disgusting thing of *Q(K)*) self his.
Có sáu điều Đức Giê-hô-va ghét, Và bảy điều Ngài lấy làm gớm ghiếc:
17 Eyes haughty a tongue of falsehood and hands [which] shed blood innocent.
Con mắt kiêu ngạo, lưỡi dối trá, Tay làm đổ huyết vô tội
18 A heart [which] devises plans of wickedness feet [which] hurry to run to evil.
Lòng toan những mưu ác, Chân vội vàng chạy đến sự dữ,
19 [who] he breathes out Lies a witness of falsehood and [one who] spreads contentions between brothers.
Kẻ làm chứng gian và nói điều dối, Cùng kẻ gieo sự tranh cạnh trong vòng anh em.
20 Keep O son my [the] commandment of father your and may not you forsake [the] instruction of mother your.
Hỡi con, hãy giữ lời răn bảo của cha, Chớ lìa bỏ các phép tắc của mẹ con.
21 Bind them on heart your continually tie them on necks your.
Khá ghi tạc nó nơi lòng con luôn luôn, Và đeo nó nơi cổ con.
22 When walking about you - it will guide you when lying down you it will watch over you and you will awake it it will speak to you.
Khi con đi, các lời đó sẽ dẫn dắt con; Lúc con ngủ, nó gìn giữ con; Và khi con thức dậy, thì nó sẽ trò chuyện với con.
23 For [is] a lamp [the] commandment and [the] instruction [is] a light and [are] a way of life rebukes of discipline.
Vì điều răn là một cái đèn, luật pháp là ánh sáng, Và sự quở trách khuyên dạy là con đường sự sống,
24 To keep you from a woman of evil from smoothness of tongue a foreign [woman].

25 May not you desire beauty her in heart your and may not she capture you with eyelids her.
Lòng con chớ tham muốn sắc nó, Đừng để mình mắc phải mí mắt nó.
26 For [the] price a woman a prostitute to a round loaf of bread and [the] wife of a man a life precious she hunts.
Vì tại kỵ nữ có người nông nổi chỉ còn một miếng bánh mà thôi; Người dâm phụ vẫn lừa sẵn linh hồn quí báu.
27 ¿ Will he snatch up a man fire in bosom his and garments his not will they be burned?
Há có người nào để lửa trong lòng mình, Mà áo người lại chẳng bị cháy sao?
28 Or? will he walk? a man on burning coals and feet his not will they be scorched.
Há có ai đi trên than lửa hực, Mà chân mình lại chẳng bị phồng chăng?
29 [is] thus The [one who] goes into [the] wife of neighbor his not he will go unpunished every [one who] touches her.
Kẻ nào đi tới cùng vợ người lân cận mình cũng vậy; Phàm ai đụng đến nàng ắt chẳng được khỏi bị phạt.
30 Not people despise the thief if he will steal to fill appetite his for he will be hungry.
Người ta chẳng khinh dị kẻ trộm, Nếu nó ăn cắp đặng phỉ lòng mình khi đói khát;
31 And he will be found out he will make restitution sevenfold all [the] wealth of house his he will give.
Hễ nó bị bắt, chắc phải thường bồi gấp bảy lần; Nó sẽ nộp hết tài sản của nhà nó.
32 [one who] commits adultery A woman [is] lacking of heart [one who] destroys own self his he he will do it.
Kẻ nào phạm tội ngoại tình với người đàn bà, tất vô tâm vô trí: Ai làm như vậy, khiến cho linh hồn mình bị hư mất.
33 A wound and shame he will find and reproach his not it will be wiped away.
Người ấy sẽ bị thương tích và khinh bỉ, Sự sỉ nhục người sẽ chẳng bôi mất đi;
34 For jealousy [is the] rage of a man and not he will have compassion on a day of vengeance.
Vì sự ghen ghét là điều giận dữ của người nam, Trong ngày báo thù, người không dung thứ;
35 Not he will lift up [the] face of any ransom and not he will be willing for you will make great a bribe.
Người sẽ chẳng nhận giá đền tội nào hết, Mặc dầu con gia tăng của lễ, người cũng không đặng phỉ ý đâu.
