Proverbs 6
1 O son my if you have stood surety for fellow-citizen your you have struck for the stranger palms your.
| ای پسرم، اگر ضامن کسی شده و تعهد کرده‌ای که او قرضش را پس بدهد، |
2 You have been ensnared by [the] words of mouth your you have been caught by [the] words of mouth your.
| و اگر با این تعهد، خود را گرفتار ساخته‌ای، |
3 Do this then - O son my and deliver yourself for you have come in [the] palm of neighbor your go humble yourself and importune neighbor your.
| تو در واقع اسیر او هستی و باید هر چه زودتر خود را از این دام رها سازی. پس فروتن شو و نزد او برو و از او خواهش کن تا تو را از قید این تعهد آزاد سازد. |
4 May not you give sleep to eyes your and slumber to eyelids your.
| خواب به چشمانت راه نده و آرام ننشین، |
5 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from a hand and like a bird from [the] hand of a fowler.
| بلکه مانند آهویی که از چنگ صیاد می‌گریزد یا پرنده‌ای که از دامی که برایش نهاده‌اند می‌رهد، خود را نجات بده. |
6 Go to an ant O sluggard consider ways its and become wise.
| ای آدمهای تنبل، زندگی مورچه‌ها را مشاهده کنید و درس عبرت بگیرید. |
7 Which not [belongs] to it [is] commander of icer and ruler.
| آنها ارباب و رهبر و رئیسی ندارند، |
8 It prepares in the summer food its it gathers at the harvest food its.
| ولی با این همه در طول تابستان زحمت می‌کشند و برای زمستان آذوقه جمع می‌کنند. |
9 Until when? O sluggard - will you lie down when? will you rise from sleep your.
| اما ای آدم تنبل، کار تو فقط خوابیدن است. پس کی می‌خواهی بیدار شوی؟ |
10 A little of sleep a little of slumber a little of - folding of hands to rest.
| کمی خواب بیشتر، کمی چُرت بیشتر، کمی دست رو دست گذاشتن و استراحت بیشتر، |
11 And it will come like a traveler poverty your and lack your like a man of shield.
| و فقر و تنگدستی همچون راهزنی مسلح به سراغ تو خواهد آمد. |
12 A person of worthlessness a person of wickedness [is] walking crookedness of mouth.
| آدم رذل و خبیث کیست؟ آنکه دائم دروغ می‌گوید، |
13 [he is] winking (With eyes his *Q(K)*) [he is] scraping (with feet his *Q(K)*) [he is] pointing with fingers his.
| و برای فریب دادن مردم با چشمش چشمک می‌زند، با پایش علامت می‌دهد، به انگشت اشاره می‌کند، |
14 Perverse things - [are] in heart his [he is] devising evil at every time (contentions *Q(K)*) he sends out.
| و در فکر پلید خود پیوسته نقشه‌های شرورانه می‌کشد و نزاع بر پا می‌کند. |
15 There-fore suddenly it will come disaster his an instant he will be broken and there not [will be] healing.
| بنابراین، ناگهان دچار بلای علاج‌ناپذیری خواهد شد و در دم از پای در خواهد آمد و علاجی نخواهد بود. |
16 Six [things] those he hates Yahweh and [are] seven ([the] disgusting thing of *Q(K)*) self his.
| هفت چیز است که خداوند از آنها نفرت دارد: نگاه متکبرانه، زبان دروغگو، دستهایی که خون بی‌گناه را می‌ریزند، فکری که نقشه‌های پلید می‌کشد، پاهایی که برای بدی کردن می‌شتابند، شاهدی که دروغ می‌گوید، شخصی که در میان دوستان تفرقه می‌اندازد. |
17 Eyes haughty a tongue of falsehood and hands [which] shed blood innocent.
18 A heart [which] devises plans of wickedness feet [which] hurry to run to evil.
19 [who] he breathes out Lies a witness of falsehood and [one who] spreads contentions between brothers.
20 Keep O son my [the] commandment of father your and may not you forsake [the] instruction of mother your.
| ای پسر من، اوامر پدر خود را به جا آور و تعالیم مادرت را فراموش نکن. |
21 Bind them on heart your continually tie them on necks your.
| سخنان ایشان را آویزه گوش خود نما و نصایح آنها را در دل خود جای بده. |
22 When walking about you - it will guide you when lying down you it will watch over you and you will awake it it will speak to you.
| اندرزهای ایشان تو را در راهی که می‌روی هدایت خواهند کرد و هنگامی که در خواب هستی از تو مواظبت خواهند نمود و چون بیدار شوی با تو سخن خواهند گفت؛ |
23 For [is] a lamp [the] commandment and [the] instruction [is] a light and [are] a way of life rebukes of discipline.
| زیرا تعالیم و تأدیب‌های ایشان مانند چراغی پر نور راه زندگی تو را روشن می‌سازند. |
24 To keep you from a woman of evil from smoothness of tongue a foreign [woman].
| نصایح ایشان تو را از زنان بدکاره و سخنان فریبنده‌شان دور نگه می‌دارد. |
25 May not you desire beauty her in heart your and may not she capture you with eyelids her.
| دلباخته زیبایی این گونه زنان نشو. نگذار عشوه‌گری‌های آنها تو را وسوسه نماید؛ |
26 For [the] price a woman a prostitute to a round loaf of bread and [the] wife of a man a life precious she hunts.
| زیرا زن فاحشه تو را محتاج نان می‌کند و زن بدکاره زندگی تو را تباه می‌سازد. |
27 ¿ Will he snatch up a man fire in bosom his and garments his not will they be burned?
| آیا کسی می‌تواند آتش را در بر بگیرد و نسوزد؟ |
28 Or? will he walk? a man on burning coals and feet his not will they be scorched.
| آیا می‌تواند روی زغالهای داغ راه برود و پاهایش سوخته نشود؟ |
29 [is] thus The [one who] goes into [the] wife of neighbor his not he will go unpunished every [one who] touches her.
| همچنان است مردی که با زن دیگری زنا کند. او نمی‌تواند از مجازات این گناه فرار کند. |
30 Not people despise the thief if he will steal to fill appetite his for he will be hungry.
| اگر کسی به دلیل گرسنگی دست به دزدی بزند مردم او را سرزنش نمی‌کنند، |
31 And he will be found out he will make restitution sevenfold all [the] wealth of house his he will give.
| با این حال وقتی به دام بیفتد باید هفت برابر آنچه که دزدیده است جریمه بدهد، ولو اینکه این کار به قیمت از دست دادن همهٔ اموالش تمام شود. |
32 [one who] commits adultery A woman [is] lacking of heart [one who] destroys own self his he he will do it.
| اما کسی که مرتکب زنا می‌شود احمق است، زیرا جان خود را تباه می‌کند. |
33 A wound and shame he will find and reproach his not it will be wiped away.
| او را خواهند زد و ننگ و رسوایی تا ابد گریبانگیر او خواهد بود؛ |
34 For jealousy [is the] rage of a man and not he will have compassion on a day of vengeance.
| زیرا آتش خشم و حسادت شوهر آن زن شعله‌ور می‌گردد و با بی‌رحمی انتقام می‌گیرد. |
35 Not he will lift up [the] face of any ransom and not he will be willing for you will make great a bribe.
| او تاوانی قبول نخواهد کرد و هیچ هدیه‌ای خشم او را فرو نخواهد نشاند. |
