Proverbs 30
1 [the] words of - Agur [the] son of Jakeh the oracle [the] utterance of the man to Ithiel to Ithiel and Ukal.
Ô mon fils, révère mes paroles; recueille-les et repens-toi. Voici ce que dit un homme à ceux qui se confient en Dieu; mais je m'arrête,
2 That [am] stupid I more than anyone and not [the] understanding of a person [belongs] to me.
car je suis moi-même le plus insensé des hommes, et la sagesse des mortels n'est point en moi
3 And not I have learned wisdom and knowledge of [the] holy [one] I know.
mais Dieu m'a enseigné la sagesse, et je connais la doctrine des saints.
4 Who? has he gone up heaven - and has he come down? who? has he gathered [the] wind - in hands his who? has he wrapped [the] waters - in cloak who? has he set up all [the] ends of [the] earth what? [is] name his and what? [is] [the] name of son his for you know.
Qui donc est monté au ciel et en est descendu? Qui a rassemblé les vents dans un pli de Son manteau? Qui a contenu les eaux comme dans un vêtement? Qui a pouvoir sur les extrémités de la terre? Quel est Son Nom? Quel est le nom de Ses enfants?
5 Every word of God [is] refined [is] a shield he for [those who] take refuge in him.
Toutes les paroles de Dieu sont des flammes, et Il protège ceux qui Le craignent.
6 May not you add to words his lest he should rebuke you and you will be proved a liar.
N'ajoute rien à Ses paroles, de peur qu'Il ne te reprenne et ne t'accuse de mensonge.
7 Two [things] I ask from with you may not you withhold [them] from me before I will die.
Seigneur, je Te demande deux choses: Ne me retire pas Ta grâce avant que je meure;
8 Deceitfulness - and a word of falsehood put far away from me poverty and wealth may not you give to me let devour me [the] food of allotment my.
éloigne de moi les paroles vaines et le mensonge; ne me donne ni la richesse ni la pauvreté; mais accorde-moi ce qui m'est nécessaire et suffisant;
9 Lest I should be satisfied - and I will deny and I will say who? [is] Yahweh and lest I should become impoverished and I will steal and I will seize [the] name of God my.
de peur que, rassasié, je ne devienne trompeur, et ne dise: Qui me voit? ou que, poussé par le besoin, je ne dérobe, et que je ne parjure le Nom du Seigneur.
10 May not you slander a slave to (master his *Q(K)*) lest he should curse you and you will be held guilty.
Ne livre pas l'esclave fugitif à son maître; de peur qu'il ne te maudisse, et que tu ne périsses à ton tour.
11 A generation father its it curses and mother its not it blesses.
Une race pervertie maudit son père, et ne bénit pas sa mère.
12 A generation [is] pure in own eyes its and from excrement its not it has been washed.
Une race pervertie s'estime juste, et qui pourtant n'a point lavé le devant de sa porte.
13 A generation how! they are raised eyes its and eyelids its they are lifted up.
Une race pervertie a les yeux hautains; l'orgueil est sur ses paupières.
14 A generation - [are] swords teeth its and [are] knives jaw bones its to devour afflicted [people] from [the] earth and needy [people] from humankind.
D'une race pervertie les dents sont des glaives; et ses mâchoires, des couteaux pour détruire et dévorer, sur la terre, les humbles et les pauvres parmi les hommes.
15 [belong] to A leech - two daughters give - give three [things] they not they are satisfied four [things] not they say enough.
La sangsue avait trois filles qu'elle aimait d'un tendre amour; et à elles trois, elles ne remplissaient pas son cœur; une quatrième ne suffit pas pour lui faire dire: C'est assez.
16 Sheol and barrenness of a womb land [which] not it is satisfied water and fire [which] not it says enough. (Sheol h7585)
L'enfer, l'amour d'une femme, une terre qui manque d'eau, l'eau et le feu ne diront jamais: C'est assez. (Sheol h7585)
17 An eye - [which] it mocks a father so it may despise obedience of a mother they will pluck out it [the] ravens of [the] wadi and they will eat it [the] young of an eagle.
L'œil qui se moque d'un père et qui n'honore point la vieillesse d'une mère, que les corbeaux du vallon l'arrachent, et que les aiglons le dévorent.
18 Three [things] they they are [too] wonderful for me (and four [things] *Q(k)*) not I know them.
Il y a trois choses qu'il m'est impossible de comprendre, et une quatrième que j'ignore
19 [the] way of The eagle - in the heavens [the] way of a snake on a rock [the] way of a ship in [the] heart of [the] sea and [the] way of a man with a young woman.
la trace d'un aigle dans les airs, celle d'un serpent dans les rochers, les sentiers d'un ruisseau qui vogue sur l'eau, et les voies d'un homme dans sa jeunesse.
20 [is] thus - [the] way of A woman adulterous she eats and she wipes clean mouth her and she says not I have done wickedness.
Telle est la voie de la femme adultère, qui, après ce qu'elle a fait, se lave, et dit n'avoir rien fait d'inconvenant.
21 Under three [things] it quakes [the] earth and under four [things] not it is able to bear up.
Trois choses troublent la terre; il en est une quatrième qu'elle ne peut supporter
22 Under a slave for he will become king and a fool for he will be satisfied food.
un esclave devenu roi; un insensé regorgeant de biens;
23 Under a hated [woman] for she will be married and a female servant for she will dispossess mistress her.
une servante qui a supplanté sa maîtresse, et une méchante femme réunie à un bon mari.
24 Four [things] they [are] small [things] of [the] earth and they [are] wise [things] made wise.
Il y a sur la terre quatre êtres bien petits, et ils sont plus sages que les sages
25 The ants [are] a people not strong and they prepared in the summer food their.
la fourmi, qui n'a point de force, et prépare en été sa nourriture;
26 Rock badgers [are] a people not mighty and they made in the rock[s] home their.
le hérisson, peuple débile, qui fait sa demeure sur les rochers;
27 A king not [belongs] to the locust and it went out dividing all of it.
la sauterelle, qui n'a point de roi et marche comme une armée en bon ordre, au commandement d'une seule;
28 A lizard in [two] hands you will grasp and it [is] in [the] palaces of a king.
et le lézard moucheté, qui se tient droit, et, quoique facile à prendre, habite les forteresses des rois.
29 Three [things] they [are] doing well of step and four [things] [are] doing well to walk.
Il y a trois êtres dont la démarche est belle, et un quatrième dont le maintien est majestueux
30 A lion [is] mighty among the animal[s] and not it turns back from before anything.
le lionceau, le plus fort des animaux, qui ne recule devant rien, et ne redoute aucune bête;
31 A rooster of loins or a male goat and a king a band of soldiers with him.
le coq, qui se promène, plein d'ardeur, parmi les poules; et le bouc qui conduit le troupeau, et le roi qui gouverne une nation.
32 If you have been foolish by exalting yourself and if you have plotted hand to a mouth.
Si tu t'es laissé aller à la joie, et que tu étendes les mains pour te disculper, tu seras confondu.
33 For squeezing of milk it brings forth butter and squeezing of a nose it brings forth blood and squeezing of anger it brings forth strife.
Trais le lait avec trop de force, il deviendra du beurre; blesse-toi les narines, il en sortira du sang; cherche querelle, il s'ensuivra des rixes et des procès.
