< Proverbs 30 >

1 [the] words of - Agur [the] son of Jakeh the oracle [the] utterance of the man to Ithiel to Ithiel and Ukal.
Nawa mawu a Aguri mwana wa Yake wa ku Masa: Munthuyo anati kwa Itieli, “Inu Mulungu, ine ndatopa. Inu Mulungu, ine ndatopa. Ndalefukiratu.
2 That [am] stupid I more than anyone and not [the] understanding of a person [belongs] to me.
“Ine ndine munthu wopusa kuposa anthu onse; ndilibe nzeru zomvetsa zinthu zonga za munthu.
3 And not I have learned wisdom and knowledge of [the] holy [one] I know.
Sindinaphunzire nzeru, ndipo Woyerayo sindimudziwa.
4 Who? has he gone up heaven - and has he come down? who? has he gathered [the] wind - in hands his who? has he wrapped [the] waters - in cloak who? has he set up all [the] ends of [the] earth what? [is] name his and what? [is] [the] name of son his for you know.
Kodi ndani anakwera kumwamba ndi kutsikako? Ndani anafumbatapo mphepo mʼmanja mwake? Ndani anamanga madzi mʼchovala chake? Ndani anakhazikitsa mathero onse a dziko lapansi? Dzina lake ndani? Ndiwuze ngati ukudziwa! Ndipo mwana wake dzina lake ndani?
5 Every word of God [is] refined [is] a shield he for [those who] take refuge in him.
“Mawu ali wonse a Mulungu ndi opanda cholakwika; Iye ndi chishango kwa amene amathawira kwa Iye.
6 May not you add to words his lest he should rebuke you and you will be proved a liar.
Usawonjezepo kanthu pa mawu ake, kuopa kuti Iye angadzakudzudzule ndi kukupeza kuti ndiwe wabodza.”
7 Two [things] I ask from with you may not you withhold [them] from me before I will die.
“Inu Yehova, ndikukupemphani zinthu ziwiri musandimane zimenezo ndisanafe:
8 Deceitfulness - and a word of falsehood put far away from me poverty and wealth may not you give to me let devour me [the] food of allotment my.
Choyamba, mundichotsere kutali nane mabodza ndi chinyengo. Chachiwiri, ndisakhale mʼmphawi kapena munthu wachuma. Koma muzindidyetsa chakudya chondikwanira tsiku ndi tsiku
9 Lest I should be satisfied - and I will deny and I will say who? [is] Yahweh and lest I should become impoverished and I will steal and I will seize [the] name of God my.
kuopa kuti ndikakhuta kwambiri ndingayambe kukukanani, nʼkumanena kuti, ‘Yehova ndiye yaninso?’ Kuopanso kuti ndikakhala wosauka ndingayambe kuba, potero nʼkuyipitsa dzina la Mulungu wanga.”
10 May not you slander a slave to (master his *Q(K)*) lest he should curse you and you will be held guilty.
“Usamusinjirire wantchito kwa mbuye wake kuopa kuti angakutemberere ndipo iweyo nʼkupezeka wolakwa.”
11 A generation father its it curses and mother its not it blesses.
“Alipo ena amene amatemberera abambo awo, ndipo sadalitsa amayi awo.
12 A generation [is] pure in own eyes its and from excrement its not it has been washed.
Pali ena amene amadziyesa okha oyera mtima komatu sanachotse zoyipa zawo.
13 A generation how! they are raised eyes its and eyelids its they are lifted up.
Pali ena ndi odzitukumula kwambiri, amene amakweza zikope modzitukumula.
14 A generation - [are] swords teeth its and [are] knives jaw bones its to devour afflicted [people] from [the] earth and needy [people] from humankind.
Pali ena amene mano awo ali ngati malupanga ndipo zibwano zawo zili ngati mipeni moti amadya amphawi ndi kuwachotsa pa dziko lapansi. Amachotsanso anthu osauka pakati pa anzawo.”
15 [belong] to A leech - two daughters give - give three [things] they not they are satisfied four [things] not they say enough.
“Msundu uli ndi ana aakazi awiri iwo amalira kuti, ‘Tipatseni! Tipatseni!’” “Pali zinthu zitatu zimene sizikhuta, zinthu zinayi zimene sizinena kuti, ‘Takhuta!’
16 Sheol and barrenness of a womb land [which] not it is satisfied water and fire [which] not it says enough. (Sheol h7585)
Manda, mkazi wosabala, nthaka yosakhuta madzi ndiponso moto womangoyakirayakira!” (Sheol h7585)
17 An eye - [which] it mocks a father so it may despise obedience of a mother they will pluck out it [the] ravens of [the] wadi and they will eat it [the] young of an eagle.
Aliyense amene amanyoza abambo ake, ndi kunyozera kumvera amayi ake, makwangwala a ku chigwa adzamukolowola maso ndipo mphungu zidzadya mnofu wake.
18 Three [things] they they are [too] wonderful for me (and four [things] *Q(k)*) not I know them.
Pali zinthu zitatu zimene zimandidabwitsa, zinthu zinayi zimene ine sindizimvetsetsa.
19 [the] way of The eagle - in the heavens [the] way of a snake on a rock [the] way of a ship in [the] heart of [the] sea and [the] way of a man with a young woman.
Ndipo ndi izi: mmene chiwulukira chiwombankhanga mlengalenga; mmene iyendera njoka pa thanthwe; mmene chiyendera chombo pa nyanja; ndiponso mmene mwamuna achitira akakhala ndi namwali.
20 [is] thus - [the] way of A woman adulterous she eats and she wipes clean mouth her and she says not I have done wickedness.
Umu ndi mʼmene mkazi amachitira atachita chigololo: Atatha kudya ndi kupukuta pakamwa pake iye amanena kuti “Sindinachite kalikonse kolakwa.”
21 Under three [things] it quakes [the] earth and under four [things] not it is able to bear up.
Pali zinthu zitatu zimene zimanjenjemeretsa dziko lapansi, pali zinthu zinayi zimene dziko lapansi silingathe kuzipirira:
22 Under a slave for he will become king and a fool for he will be satisfied food.
Kapolo amene wasanduka mfumu, chitsiru chimene chakhuta,
23 Under a hated [woman] for she will be married and a female servant for she will dispossess mistress her.
mkazi wonyozeka akakwatiwa ndiponso wantchito wamkazi akalanda mwamuna wa mbuye wake.
24 Four [things] they [are] small [things] of [the] earth and they [are] wise [things] made wise.
Pali zinthu zinayi zingʼonozingʼono pa dziko lapansi, komatu ndi zochenjera kwambiri:
25 The ants [are] a people not strong and they prepared in the summer food their.
Nyerere zili ngati anthu opanda mphamvu, komatu zimasungiratu chakudya chake nthawi ya chilimwe;
26 Rock badgers [are] a people not mighty and they made in the rock[s] home their.
mbira zili ngati anthu opanda mphamvu komatu zimakonza pokhalapo pawo mʼmiyala;
27 A king not [belongs] to the locust and it went out dividing all of it.
dzombe lilibe mfumu, komatu lonse limakhala mʼmagulumagulu poyenda.
28 A lizard in [two] hands you will grasp and it [is] in [the] palaces of a king.
Buluzi ungathe kumugwira mʼmanja komatu amapezeka mʼnyumba za mafumu.
29 Three [things] they [are] doing well of step and four [things] [are] doing well to walk.
“Pali zinthu zitatu zimene zimayenda chinyachinya, pali zinthu zinayi zimene zimayenda monyadira:
30 A lion [is] mighty among the animal[s] and not it turns back from before anything.
Mkango umene uli wamphamvu kuposa nyama zonse, ndipo suthawa kanthu kalikonse.
31 A rooster of loins or a male goat and a king a band of soldiers with him.
Tambala woyenda chinyachinya, mbuzi yayimuna, ndiponso mfumu yoyenda pakati pa anthu ake.
32 If you have been foolish by exalting yourself and if you have plotted hand to a mouth.
“Ngati wakhala ukupusa ndi kumadzikweza wekha, kapena ngati wakhala ukukonzekera zoyipa, ndiye khala kaye chete, uganizire bwino!
33 For squeezing of milk it brings forth butter and squeezing of a nose it brings forth blood and squeezing of anger it brings forth strife.
Paja pakutha mkaka mafuta amapangidwa, ndipo ukapsinya mphuno, magazi amatuluka, ndipo mikangano imakhalapo ukalimbikira kukwiya.”
