< Proverbs 29 >
1 A person of rebukes [one who] hardens a neck suddenly he will be broken and there not [will be] healing.
Mũndũ ũrĩa ũikaraga omĩtie ngingo thuutha wa kũrũithio maita maingĩ, akaanangwo o rĩmwe, na aage kĩhonia.
2 When increase righteous [people] it rejoices the people and when rules a wicked [person] it sighs a people.
Rĩrĩa andũ arĩa athingu matheerema, andũ nĩmakenaga; no rĩrĩa andũ arĩa aaganu maathana, andũ nĩgũcaaya macaayaga.
3 A person [who] loves wisdom he makes glad father his and [one who] associates with prostitutes he destroys wealth.
Mũndũ ũrĩa wendete ũũgĩ atũũragia ithe na gĩkeno, no mũndũ ũrĩa ũceeraga na maraya nĩgũitanga aitangaga ũtonga wake.
4 A king by justice he establishes a land and a person of contributions he breaks down it.
Mũthamaki ũrĩ matuĩro ma kĩhooto aikaragia bũrũri ũrĩ mwĩkindĩru, no ũrĩa ũkorokagĩra mahaki nĩ kwananga awanangaga.
5 A man [who] flatters to neighbor his a net [is] spreading on footsteps his.
Mũndũ ũrĩa wĩyendithagĩrĩria harĩ mũndũ wa itũũra rĩake na maheeni, nĩ wabu aambagĩra magũrũ make.
6 [is] in [the] transgression of A person evil a snare and a righteous [person] he cries aloud and he rejoices.
Mũndũ mwaganu ategagwo nĩ mehia make we mwene, no mũndũ mũthingu ainaga na agakena.
7 [is] knowing A righteous [person] [the] case of poor [people] a wicked [person] not he understands knowledge.
Andũ arĩa athingu nĩmamenyagĩrĩra kĩhooto kĩa arĩa athĩĩni, no arĩa aaganu matirũmbũyagia kĩhooto kĩao.
8 People of mockery they inflame a town and wise [people] they turn away anger.
Anyũrũrania matũmaga itũũra inene rĩrĩmbũke ta mwaki, no andũ oogĩ nĩkũniina maniinaga marakara.
9 A person wise [who] enters into judgment with a person a fool and he rages and he laughs and there not [is] rest.
Mũndũ mũũgĩ angĩthiĩ igooti-inĩ na mũndũ mũkĩĩgu, mũndũ mũkĩĩgu arĩrĩmbũkaga nĩ marakara na akanyũrũrania, naguo thayũ ũkaaga.
10 People of blood they hate a blameless [person] and upright [people] they seek life his.
Andũ arĩa maitaga thakame nĩmathũire mũndũ mwĩhokeku, no andũ arĩa arũngĩrĩru macaragia ũrĩa mangĩtiirĩrĩra muoyo wake.
11 All spirit his he sends forth a fool and a wise [person] in backwards he calms it.
Mũndũ mũkĩĩgu aitũrũraga marakara make mothe, no mũndũ mũũgĩ aikaraga amarigĩrĩirie, akahoorera.
12 A ruler [who] pays attention on a word of falsehood all servants his [will be] wicked.
Mũndũ ũrĩa wathanaga angĩthikĩrĩria maheeni-rĩ, anene ake othe matuĩkaga andũ aaganu.
13 A poor [person] and a person of oppression they meet together [is] giving light to [the] eyes of both of them Yahweh.
Mũndũ mũthĩĩni na mũndũ mũhinyanĩrĩria harĩ ũndũ ũmwe ũmahaananĩtie: Jehova nĩwe ũtũmaga maitho mao eerĩ moone.
14 A king [who] judges in truth poor [people] throne his for ever it will be established.
Mũthamaki angĩtuĩra athĩĩni ciira na kĩhooto-rĩ, gĩtĩ gĩake kĩa ũnene gĩtũũraga kĩrũmĩte nginya tene.
15 A rod and rebuke it gives wisdom and a youth let loose [is] putting to shame mother his.
Rũthanju na kũrũithio ciĩkagĩra mũndũ ũũgĩ, no mwana wa kũrekererio aconorithagia nyina.
16 When increase wicked [people] it increases transgression and righteous [people] on overthrow their they will look.
Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa andũ aaganu matheerema, noguo mehia matheeremaga, no andũ arĩa athingu nĩmakerorera igwa rĩao.
17 Discipline son your so he may give rest you and he may give delights to self your.
Herithagia mũrũguo, na nĩagatũma ũgĩe na thayũ; nĩagatũma ũgĩe na gĩkeno ngoro-inĩ.
18 When there not [is] vision it is let loose a people and [one who] keeps [the] law how blessed [is] he.
Kũrĩa gũtarĩ na ũguũrio, kĩrĩndĩ gĩticookaga kwĩrigĩrĩria; no gũkena nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa ũrũmagia watho.
19 By words not he will let himself be instructed a slave for he will understand and there not [will be one who] answers.
Ndungata ndĩngĩhera nĩ kwarĩrio gũtheri; o na ĩngĩtaũkĩrwo nĩ ũhoro ndĩngĩũrũmbũiya.
20 Do you see? anyone hasty in words his hope [belongs] to a fool more than him.
Wanona mũndũ ũhiũhaga kwaria? Mũndũ mũkĩĩgu arĩ na kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro kũmũkĩra.
21 [one who] pampers From youth slave his and end his it will be trouble.
Mũndũ angĩnania ndungata yake kuuma wĩthĩ wayo, marigĩrĩrio-inĩ nĩĩkamũrehera kĩeha.
22 A person of anger he stirs up strife and a master of rage [is] great of transgression.
Mũndũ wa marakara aarahũraga ngarari, nake mũndũ wa marũrũ agĩĩaga na mehia maingĩ.
23 [the] pride of A person it will bring low him and a [person] lowly of spirit he will attain honor.
Mwĩtĩĩo wa mũndũ nĩũmũnyiihagia, no mũndũ ũrĩa wa ngoro ya kwĩnyiihia nĩagatĩĩo.
24 [one who] has shares With a thief [is] hating own self his an oath he hears and not he tells.
Mũndũ wa kũgĩa thiritũ na mũici nĩ muoyo wake mwene athũire; ehĩtithagio na ndangĩruta ũira.
25 Fear of a person it makes a snare and [one who] trusts in Yahweh he will be set on high.
Gwĩtigĩra mũndũ gũtuĩkaga mũtego, no ũrĩa wĩhokaga Jehova aikaraga arĩ mũgitĩre.
26 Many [people] [are] seeking [the] face of a ruler and [is] from Yahweh justice of a person.
Andũ aingĩ nĩmacaragia kũiguuo nĩ mũnene, no mũndũ oonaga kĩhooto kuuma kũrĩ Jehova.
27 [is] an abomination of Righteous [people] a person of injustice and [is] an abomination of [the] wicked a [person] upright of way.
Andũ arĩa athingu monaga andũ arĩa matarĩ ehokeku ta kĩndũ kĩrĩ magigi; nao andũ arĩa aaganu moonaga andũ arĩa arũngĩrĩru ta kĩndũ kĩrĩ magigi.
