Proverbs 28
1 They flee and there not [is one who] pursues [the] wicked and righteous [people] like a young lion he is confident.
೧ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟದಿದ್ದರೂ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಹೆದರಿ ಓಡುವನು, ಶಿಷ್ಟನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರುವನು.
2 By [the] transgression of a land [are] many princes its and by a person understanding knowing thus it will last long.
೨ಅಧರ್ಮದಿಂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ನಾಯಕರಿರುವರು, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೂ, ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳೂ ಆದವರಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮವು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
3 A man poor and [who] oppresses poor [people] rain [which] washes away and there not [is] food.
೩ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವ ದರಿದ್ರನು, ಒಂದು ಕಾಳೂ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಪೈರನ್ನು ಬಡಿಯುವ ಮಳೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ.
4 [those who] forsake [the] law They praise [the] wicked and [those who] keep [the] law they engage in strife with them.
೪ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದವರು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವರು, ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವರು.
5 People of evil not they understand justice and [those who] seek Yahweh they understand everything.
೫ಕೆಟ್ಟವರು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸರು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಕ್ತರು ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವರು.
6 [is] good A poor [person] [who] walks in integrity his more than [the] [person] perverse of two ways and he [is] rich.
೬ವಕ್ರಮಾರ್ಗಿಯಾದ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಿಗಿಂತ, ನಿರ್ದೋಷವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ದರಿದ್ರನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು.
7 [one who] keeps [the] law [is] a son Understanding and [one who] associates with gluttons he shames father his.
೭ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ವಿವೇಕಿಯಾದ ಮಗನು, ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಬಾಕರ ಗೆಳೆಯನು ತಂದೆಯ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯುವನು.
8 [one who] increases Wealth his by interest (and usury *Q(K)*) for [one who] shows favor to poor [people] he gathers it.
೮ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಲಾಭದಿಂದ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಆಸ್ತಿಯು ಬಡವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಕರಪಡುವವನ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುದು.
9 [one who] turns aside Ear his from hearing [the] law also prayer his [is] an abomination.
೯ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದವನು ಮಾಡುವ ದೇವಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯ.
10 [one who] leads astray Upright [people] - in a way evil in own pit his he he will fall and blameless [people] they will inherit good.
೧೦ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರನ್ನು ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆಯುವವನು, ತಾನು ತೋಡಿದ ಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಬೀಳುವನು, ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳಿಗೋ ಸುಖವು ಸೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.
11 [is] wise In own eyes his a person rich and a poor [person] understanding he examines thoroughly him.
೧೧ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನು ತಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು, ವಿವೇಕಿಯಾದ ಬಡವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಇಂಥವನೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡುವನು.
12 When rejoice righteous [people] great glory and when arise wicked [people] he is searched for everyone.
೧೨ಶಿಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವಾದರೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವಾಗುವುದು, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಏಳಿಗೆಯಾದರೆ ಜನರು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
13 [one who] conceals Transgressions his not he will prosper and [one who] confesses and [one who] forsakes [them] he will be shown mercy.
೧೩ದೋಷಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಶುಭವಾಗದು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಕರುಣೆ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
14 How blessed! [is] a person [who] fears continually and [one who] hardens heart his he will fall in calamity.
೧೪ಕೆಟ್ಟದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಭಯಪಡುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು, ಕಠಿಣಹೃದಯನು ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವನು.
15 A lion roaring and a bear rushing a ruler wicked over a people poor.
೧೫ಬಡವರಾದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳುವ ದುಷ್ಟರಾಜನು, ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಡುಕಾಡುವ ಕರಡಿಯಂತೆ.
16 A ruler lacking of understanding and great of extortion ([one who] hates *Q(K)*) unjust gain he will prolong days.
೧೬ವಿವೇಕಶೂನ್ಯನಾದ ಒಡೆಯನು ಮಹಾ ಹಿಂಸಕನು, ದೋಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳದವನು ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯನು.
17 A person oppressed by [the] blood of a life to [the] pit he will flee may not people support him.
೧೭ನರಪ್ರಾಣ ತೆಗೆದ ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡವನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಓಡುವನು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ತಡೆಯಬಾರದು.
18 [one who] walks Blameless he will be delivered and [one who] is crooked of two ways he will fall at one.
೧೮ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರ, ವಕ್ರಮಾರ್ಗಿಗೆ ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಸೋಲು.
19 [one who] tills Land his he will be satisfied food and [one who] pursues empty [things] he will be satisfied poverty.
೧೯ದುಡಿದು ಹೊಲಗೇಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಅನ್ನ, ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬಾ ಬಡತನ.
20 A person of faithfulness [will be] great of blessings and [one who] hastens to gain riches not he will go unpunished.
೨೦ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಪೂರ್ಣನಾಗುವನು, ಧನವಂತನಾಗಲು ಆತುರಪಡುವವನು ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದದೆ ಇರನು.
21 To pay regard to face not [is] good and on a piece of bread he will transgress a man.
೨೧ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವು ಅಧರ್ಮ, ತುತ್ತು ಅನ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಜನರು ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡುವುದುಂಟು.
22 [is] hastening To wealth a person evil of eye and not he knows that poverty it will come to him.
೨೨ಲೋಭಿಯು ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಲು ಆತುರಪಡುವನು, ತನಗೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ಅರಿಯನು.
23 [one who] reproves A person after me favor he will find more than [one who] makes smooth [the] tongue.
೨೩ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವವನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ, ಗದರಿಸುವವನು ಬಳಿಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಯಾಪಾತ್ರನಾಗುವನು.
24 [one who] robs - Father his and mother his and [one who] says there not [is] a transgression [is] a companion he of a person of destruction.
೨೪ದೋಷವಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಾಯಿತಂದೆಗಳ ಧನವನ್ನು ಕದಿಯುವವನು, ಕೆಡುಕನಿಗೆ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನು.
25 A [person] arrogant of self he stirs up strife and [one who] relies on Yahweh he will be made fat.
೨೫ದುರಾಶೆಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಜಗಳವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವನು, ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವನು ಪುಷ್ಟನಾಗುವನು.
26 [one who] trusts In own heart his he [is] a fool and [one who] walks in wisdom he he will be delivered.
೨೬ತನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವನು ಮೂಢನು, ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ಉದ್ಧಾರ ಹೊಂದುವನು.
27 [one who] gives To the poor there not [is] lack and [one who] hides eyes his great of curses.
೨೭ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ದಾನಮಾಡುವವನು ಕೊರತೆಪಡನು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಇರುವವನು ಬಹುಶಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವನು.
28 When arise wicked [people] he hides himself everyone and when perish they they increase righteous [people].
೨೮ದುಷ್ಟರು ಎದ್ದರೆ ಜನರು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, ನಾಶನವಾದರೆ ಶಿಷ್ಟರು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವರು.
