Proverbs 28
1 They flee and there not [is one who] pursues [the] wicked and righteous [people] like a young lion he is confident.
Die Gottlosen fliehen, obschon sie niemand verfolgt, aber die Frommen sind getrost wie ein junger Löwe.
2 By [the] transgression of a land [are] many princes its and by a person understanding knowing thus it will last long.
Durch eines Landes Vergehung werden seiner Fürsten viel, aber unter verständigen, einsichtigen Leuten bleibt einer lange.
3 A man poor and [who] oppresses poor [people] rain [which] washes away and there not [is] food.
Ein Mann, der arm ist und die Geringen bedrückt, ist wie ein Regen, der wegschwemmt und kein Brot bringt.
4 [those who] forsake [the] law They praise [the] wicked and [those who] keep [the] law they engage in strife with them.
Die das Gesetz verlassen, rühmen die Gottlosen; aber die, welche Jahwe suchen, verstehen alles.
5 People of evil not they understand justice and [those who] seek Yahweh they understand everything.
Böse Menschen verstehen nichts von Recht; aber die, welche Jahwe suchen, verstehen alles.
6 [is] good A poor [person] [who] walks in integrity his more than [the] [person] perverse of two ways and he [is] rich.
Besser ein Armer, der in seiner Unschuld wandelt, als wer verkehrte Wege geht und dabei reich ist
7 [one who] keeps [the] law [is] a son Understanding and [one who] associates with gluttons he shames father his.
Wer das Gesetz beobachtet, ist ein verständiger Sohn; wer es aber mit Prassern hält, bringt seinem Vater Beschämung.
8 [one who] increases Wealth his by interest (and usury *Q(K)*) for [one who] shows favor to poor [people] he gathers it.
Wer sein Vermögen durch Zins und Wucher mehrt, der sammelt es für den, der sich der Geringen erbarmt.
9 [one who] turns aside Ear his from hearing [the] law also prayer his [is] an abomination.
Wer sein Ohr abwendet, um das Gesetz nicht zu hören, dessen Gebet sogar ist ein Greuel.
10 [one who] leads astray Upright [people] - in a way evil in own pit his he he will fall and blameless [people] they will inherit good.
Wer Rechtschaffene irreführt auf bösem Wege, der wird selbst in seine Grube fallen; aber die Unsträflichen werden Gutes ererben.
11 [is] wise In own eyes his a person rich and a poor [person] understanding he examines thoroughly him.
Weise dünkt sich ein reicher Mann, aber ein Geringer, der verständig ist, forscht ihn aus.
12 When rejoice righteous [people] great glory and when arise wicked [people] he is searched for everyone.
Wenn die Frommen frohlocken, ist die Herrlichkeit groß; wenn aber die Gottlosen aufkommen verkriechen sich die Leute.
13 [one who] conceals Transgressions his not he will prosper and [one who] confesses and [one who] forsakes [them] he will be shown mercy.
Wer seine Vergehungen zudeckt, wird kein Gelingen haben; wer sie aber bekennt und läßt, wird Barmherzigkeit erlangen.
14 How blessed! [is] a person [who] fears continually and [one who] hardens heart his he will fall in calamity.
Wohl dem Menschen, der stets Scheu hegt; wer aber sein Herz verhärtet, wird in Unglück fallen.
15 A lion roaring and a bear rushing a ruler wicked over a people poor.
Wie ein brüllender Löwe und ein gieriger Bär, so ist ein gottloser Herscher über ein geringes Volk.
16 A ruler lacking of understanding and great of extortion ([one who] hates *Q(K)*) unjust gain he will prolong days.
Ein Fürst, der an Einkünften arm, ist reich an Erpressung; wer ungerechten Gewinn haßt, wird lange leben.
17 A person oppressed by [the] blood of a life to [the] pit he will flee may not people support him.
Ein Mensch, den das Blut eines Gemordeten drückt, muß bis zur Grube flüchtig sein; niemand halte ihn auf!
18 [one who] walks Blameless he will be delivered and [one who] is crooked of two ways he will fall at one.
Wer unsträflich wandelt, wird gerettet werden; wer sich aber auf verkehrte Wege einläßt, wird in eine Grube fallen.
19 [one who] tills Land his he will be satisfied food and [one who] pursues empty [things] he will be satisfied poverty.
Wer seinen Acker baut, wird Brots die Fülle haben; wer aber nichtigen Dingen nachjagt, wird Armut in Fülle haben.
20 A person of faithfulness [will be] great of blessings and [one who] hastens to gain riches not he will go unpunished.
Ein Mann von Treu und Glauben wird viel gesegnet; wer aber eilt, reich zu werden, bleibt nicht ungestraft.
21 To pay regard to face not [is] good and on a piece of bread he will transgress a man.
Parteilichkeit ist ein übel Ding; aber schon wegen eines Bissens Brot kann sich ein Mann vergehen.
22 [is] hastening To wealth a person evil of eye and not he knows that poverty it will come to him.
Mit Hast will sich bereichern ein mißgünstiger Mannund weiß nicht, daß Mangel über ihn kommen wird.
23 [one who] reproves A person after me favor he will find more than [one who] makes smooth [the] tongue.
Wer einen Menschen tadelt, wird hinterher mehr Dank ernten, als wer glattzüngig schmeichelt.
24 [one who] robs - Father his and mother his and [one who] says there not [is] a transgression [is] a companion he of a person of destruction.
Wer seine Eltern beraubt und spricht: Es ist keine Sünde! der ist des Verderbers Geselle.
25 A [person] arrogant of self he stirs up strife and [one who] relies on Yahweh he will be made fat.
Der Habgierige erregt Zank; wer aber auf Jahwe vertraut, wird reichlich gelabt.
26 [one who] trusts In own heart his he [is] a fool and [one who] walks in wisdom he he will be delivered.
Wer auf seinen eigenen Verstand, der ist ein Thor; wer aber in Weisheit wandelt, der wird entrinnen.
27 [one who] gives To the poor there not [is] lack and [one who] hides eyes his great of curses.
Wer dem Armen giebt, leidet keinen Mangel; wer aber seine Augen verhüllt, wird viel verflucht.
28 When arise wicked [people] he hides himself everyone and when perish they they increase righteous [people].
Wenn die Gottlosen aufkommen, verbergen sich die Leute; wenn sie aber umkommen, mehren sich die Frommen.
