Proverbs 19
1 [is] good A poor [person] [who] walks in integrity his more than [the] [person] perverse of lips his and he [is] a fool.
De arme, in zijn oprechtheid wandelende, is beter dan de verkeerde van lippen, en die een zot is.
2 Also with not knowledge a person not [is] good and [one who] hastens with feet [is] missing.
Ook is de ziel zonder wetenschap niet goed; en die met de voeten haastig is, zondigt.
3 [the] folly of A person it subverts way his and towards Yahweh it rages heart his.
De dwaasheid des mensen zal zijn weg verkeren; en zijn hart zal zich tegen den HEERE vergrammen.
4 Wealth it adds friends many and a poor [person] from friend his he is separated.
Het goed brengt veel vrienden toe; maar de arme wordt van zijn vriend gescheiden.
5 A witness of lies not he will go unpunished and he may breathe out lies not he will escape.
Een vals getuige zal niet onschuldig zijn; en die leugen blaast, zal niet ontkomen.
6 Many [people] they entreat [the] face of a noble [person] and everyone [is] the friend of a person of gift.
Velen smeken het aangezicht des prinsen; en een ieder is een vriend desgenen, die giften geeft.
7 All [the] brothers of a poor [person] - they hate him indeed? for friend[s] his they are distant from him [one who] pursues words (to him *Q(K)*) they.
Al de broeders des armen haten hem; hoeveel te meer gaan zijn vrienden verre van hem! Hij loopt hen na met woorden die niets zijn.
8 [one who] acquires Heart [is] loving own self his [one who] keeps understanding [is] to find good.
Die verstand bekomt, heeft zijn ziel lief; hij neemt de verstandigheid waar, om het goede te vinden.
9 A witness of lies not he will go unpunished and he may breathe out lies he will perish.
Een vals getuige zal niet onschuldig zijn; en die leugen blaast, zal vergaan.
10 Not [is] suitable for a fool luxury indeed? for for a slave - to rule over princes.
De weelde staat een zot niet wel; hoeveel te min een knecht te heersen over vorsten!
11 [the] prudence of A person it makes long anger his and glory his [is] to pass over transgression.
Het verstand des mensen vertrekt zijn toorn; en zijn sieraad is de overtreding voorbij te gaan.
12 [is] a roaring Like young lion [the] rage of a king and [is] like dew on grass favor his.
Des konings gramschap is als het brullen eens jongen leeuws; maar zijn welgevallen is als dauw op het kruid.
13 [is] destruction To father his a son a fool and [are] a dripping continuous [the] contentions of a wife.
Een zotte zoon is zijn vader grote ellende; en de kijvingen ener vrouw als een gestadig druipen.
14 House and wealth [are] an inheritance of fathers and [is] from Yahweh a wife prudent.
Huis en goed is een erve van de vaderen; maar een verstandige vrouw is van den HEERE.
15 Laziness it makes fall deep sleep and a person of idleness he will be hungry.
Luiheid doet in diepen slaap vallen; en een bedriegelijke ziel zal hongeren.
16 [one who] keeps A commandment [is] guarding life his [the] [one who] despises ways his (he will die. *Q(K)*)
Die het gebod bewaart, bewaart zijn ziel; die zijn wegen veracht, zal sterven.
17 [is] lending to Yahweh [one who] shows favor to a poor [person] and recompense his he will repay to him.
Die zich des armen ontfermt, leent den HEERE, en Hij zal hem zijn weldaad vergelden.
18 Discipline son your for there [is] hope and to putting to death him may not you lift up desire your.
Tuchtig uw zoon, als er nog hoop is; maar verhef uw ziel niet, om hem te doden.
19 (A [person] great of *Q(K)*) rage [is] bearing [the] penalty that except you will rescue and again you will repeat.
Die groot is van grimmigheid, zal straf dragen; want zo gij hem uitredt, zo zult gij nog moeten voortvaren.
20 Listen to counsel and accept correction so that you may become wise in end your.
Hoor raad, en ontvang tucht, opdat gij in uw laatste wijs zijt.
21 Many plans [are] in [the] heart of a person and [the] purpose of Yahweh it it will stand.
In het hart des mans zijn veel gedachten; maar de raad des HEEREN, die zal bestaan.
22 [is the] desire of A person loyalty his and [is] good a poor [person] more than a person of falsehood.
De wens des mensen is zijn weldadigheid; maar de arme is beter dan een leugenachtig man.
23 [the] fear of Yahweh [is] to life and satisfied someone will pass [the] night not he will be visited trouble.
De vreze des HEEREN is ten leven; want men zal verzadigd zijnde vernachten; met het kwaad zal men niet bezocht worden.
24 He hides a sluggard hand his in the dish also to mouth his not he brings back it.
Een luiaard verbergt de hand in den boezem, en hij zal ze niet weder aan zijn mond brengen.
25 A mocker you will strike and a naive person he will become prudent and to reprove a discerning [person] he will understand knowledge.
Sla de spotter, zo zal de slechte kloekzinnig worden; en bestraf den verstandige, hij zal wetenschap begrijpen.
26 [one who] assaults A father he drives away a mother [is] a son [who] brings shame and [who] causes shame.
Wie de vader verwoest, of de moeder verjaagt, is een zoon, die beschaamd maakt, en schande aandoet.
27 Cease O son my to listen to correction to stray from words of knowledge.
Laat af, mijn zoon, horende de tucht, af te dwalen van de redenen der wetenschap.
28 A witness of worthlessness he mocks justice and [the] mouth of wicked [people] it swallows up wickedness.
Een Belialsgetuige bespot het recht; en de mond der goddelozen slokt de ongerechtigheid in.
29 They are prepared for mockers judgments and blows for [the] back of fools.
Gerichten zijn voor de spotters bereid, en slagen voor den rug der zotten.
