Proverbs 16
1 [belong] to A person [the] plans of [the] heart and [is] from Yahweh [the] answer of [the] tongue.
মানুষ মনে মনে অনেক পরিকল্পনা করে, কিন্তু জিভের সঠিক উত্তর সদাপ্রভুর কাছ থেকেই আসে।
2 All [the] ways of a person [are] pure in own eyes his and [is] weighing spirits Yahweh.
মানুষের সব পথ তাদের দৃষ্টিতে বিশুদ্ধ বলেই মনে হয়, কিন্তু অভিসন্ধি সদাপ্রভুই মেপে রাখেন।
3 Roll to Yahweh works your so they may be established plans your.
তোমার কাজের ভার সদাপ্রভুর হাতে সমর্পণ করো, ও তিনি তোমার পরিকল্পনাগুলি সফল করবেন।
4 Everything he makes Yahweh for purpose its and also [the] wicked for a day of trouble.
সদাপ্রভু সবকিছু সঠিক লক্ষ্য সামনে রেখেই করেন— দুষ্টদের জন্যও বিপর্যয়ের দিন স্থির করে রাখেন।
5 [is] [the] abomination of Yahweh every [person] haughty of heart hand to hand not he will go unpunished.
গর্বিতমনা সব লোককে সদাপ্রভু ঘৃণা করেন। নিশ্চিত জেনে রাখো: তারা অদণ্ডিত থাকবে না।
6 By loyalty and faithfulness it is atoned for iniquity and [is] by [the] fear of Yahweh turning aside from evil.
ভালোবাসা ও বিশ্বস্ততার মাধ্যমেই পাপের প্রায়শ্চিত্ত হয়; সদাপ্রভুর ভয়ের মাধ্যমেই অমঙ্গল এড়ানো যায়।
7 When is pleased with Yahweh [the] ways of a person also enemies his he causes to be at peace with him.
সদাপ্রভু যখন কোনও মানুষের জীবনযাত্রার ধরন দেখে খুশি হন, তখন তিনি তাদের শত্রুদেরও তাদের সঙ্গে সন্ধি করতে বাধ্য করেন।
8 [is] good A little with righteousness more than greatness of gains with not justice.
অন্যায় পথে প্রচুর লাভ করার চেয়ে ধার্মিকতার সঙ্গে সামান্য কিছু পাওয়া ভালো।
9 [the] heart of A person it plans way his and Yahweh he directs step[s] his.
মানুষ মনে মনে তাদের গতিপথের বিষয়ে পরিকল্পনা করে, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুই তাদের পদক্ষেপ স্থির করেন।
10 Divination - [is] on [the] lips of a king in judgment not it will act unfaithfully mouth his.
রাজা ঠোঁট দিয়ে যা বলেন তা এক ঐশ্বরিক বাণীর সমতুল্য, ও তাঁর মুখ সুবিচারের প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করে না।
11 A balance - and scales of justice [belong] to Yahweh [are] work his all [the] weights of [the] bag.
খাঁটি দাঁড়িপাল্লা ও নিক্তি সদাপ্রভুরই অধীনে থাকে; থলির সব বাটখারা তাঁর দ্বারাই নির্মিত।
12 [is] an abomination of Kings to do wickedness for by righteousness it is established a throne.
রাজারা অন্যায়াচরণ ঘৃণা করেন, কারণ ধার্মিকতা দ্বারাই সিংহাসন প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
13 [are the] delight of Kings lips of righteousness and [one who] speaks upright [things] he loves.
সততাপরায়ণ ঠোঁট রাজাদের পক্ষে আনন্দজনক; যে সঠিক কথাবার্তা বলে তারা তার কদর করেন।
14 [the] rage of A king [is] messengers of death and a person wise he covers it.
রাজার ক্রোধ এক মৃত্যুদূত, কিন্তু জ্ঞানবান তা শান্ত করবে।
15 [is] in [the] light of [the] face of A king life and favor his [is] like a cloud of spring rain.
যখন রাজার মুখমণ্ডল উজ্জ্বল হয়, তখন তার অর্থ জীবন; তাঁর অনুগ্রহ বসন্তকালের সজল মেঘের মতো।
16 To acquire wisdom how! [is] good more than gold and to acquire understanding [is to be] chosen more than silver.
সোনার চেয়ে প্রজ্ঞা লাভ করা কতই না ভালো, রুপোর পরিবর্তে দূরদর্শিতা অর্জন করা শ্রেয়!
17 [the] highway of Upright [people] [is] to turn aside from evil [is] protecting life his [one who] guards way his.
ন্যায়পরায়ণদের রাজপথ অমঙ্গল এড়িয়ে যায়; যারা তাদের জীবনযাত্রার ধরন সুরক্ষিত রাখে তারা তাদের প্রাণ বাঁচায়।
18 [is] Before breaking pride and [is] before stumbling haughtiness of spirit.
অহংকার বিনাশের আগে আগে যায়, পতনের সামনেই থাকে উদ্ধত মনোভাব।
19 [is] good To be lowly spirit with (humble [people] *Q(K)*) more than dividing plunder with proud [people].
অহংকারীদের সঙ্গে লুন্ঠিত সামগ্রীর অংশীদার হওয়ার চেয়ে নিপীড়িতদের সঙ্গে নম্র মনোভাবাপন্ন হয়ে থাকা ভালো।
20 [one who] gives attention On a word he finds good and [one who] trusts in Yahweh how blessed [is] he.
যে শিক্ষায় মনোযোগ দেয় সে উন্নতি লাভ করে, ও ধন্য সে, যে সদাপ্রভুতে নির্ভর করে।
21 To [the] wise of heart it is called discerning and sweetness of lips it increases teaching.
যারা অন্তরে জ্ঞানবান তারা বিচক্ষণ বলে পরিচিত হয়, ও সহৃদয় কথাবার্তা শিক্ষাবর্ধন করে।
22 [is] a fountain of Life [the] prudence of owners its and [the] discipline of fools [is] foolishness.
বিচক্ষণদের কাছে বিচক্ষণতাই জীবনের উৎস, কিন্তু মূর্খতা মূর্খদের কাছে দণ্ড এনে উপস্থিত করে।
23 [the] heart of A wise [person] it gives insight to mouth his and to lips his it adds teaching.
জ্ঞানবানদের অন্তর তাদের মুখগুলিকে বিচক্ষণ করে তোলে, ও তাদের ঠোঁটগুলি শিক্ষাবর্ধন করে।
24 [are] a honeycomb of Honey words of kindness a sweet [thing] to the soul and healing to the bone[s].
সহৃদয় কথাবার্তা মৌচাকের মতো, তা প্রাণের পক্ষে মিষ্টিমধুর ও অস্থির পক্ষে আরোগ্যদায়ক।
25 There [is] a way right before a person and end its [is] [the] ways of death.
একটি পথ আছে যা সঠিক বলে মনে হয়, কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত তা মৃত্যুর দিকে নিয়ে যায়।
26 [the] appetite of A laborer it labors for him for it presses on him mouth his.
শ্রমিকদের খোরাক তাদের হয়ে কাজ করে; তাদের খিদেই তাদের চালিয়ে নিয়ে যায়।
27 A person of worthlessness [is] digging up evil and [is] on (lip his *Q(K)*) like a fire scorching.
নীচমনা লোকেরা অনিষ্টের চক্রান্ত করে, ও তাদের মুখে যেন জ্বলন্ত আগুন থাকে।
28 A person of perversities he sends out strife and a slanderer [is] separating a close friend.
বিকৃতমনা লোক বিবাদ বাধায়, ও পরনিন্দা পরচর্চা ঘনিষ্ঠ বন্ধুদেরও বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেয়।
29 A person of violence he deceives neighbor his and he leads him in a way not good.
হিংসাত্মক লোকেরা তাদের প্রতিবেশীদের প্রলুব্ধ করে, ও তাদের এমন এক পথে নিয়ে যায় যা ভালো নয়।
30 [one who] shuts Eyes his to devise perverse things [one who] purses lips his he accomplishes evil.
যারা চোখ দিয়ে ইশারা করে তারা নষ্টামির চক্রান্ত করছে; যারা তাদের ঠোঁট বাঁকায় তাদের মধ্যে ক্ষতিসাধনের প্রবণতা আছে।
31 [is] a crown of Splendor gray hair in [the] way of righteousness it is found.
পাকা চুল প্রভার মুকুট; ধার্মিকতার পথে চলেই তা অর্জন করা যায়।
32 [is] good A [person] long of anger more than a warrior and [one who] rules over spirit his more than [one who] captures a city.
যোদ্ধার চেয়ে একজন ধৈর্যশীল মানুষ হওয়া ভালো, যে নগর জয় করে তার চেয়ে আত্মসংযমী মানুষ হওয়া ভালো।
33 In the bosom it is thrown the lot and [is] from Yahweh every decision its.
গুটিকাপাতের দান কোলেই চালা হয়, কিন্তু তার প্রত্যেকটি সিদ্ধান্ত আসে সদাপ্রভুর কাছ থেকেই।
