Proverbs 14
1 Wise [women] of women she builds house her and a foolish woman with hands her she tears down it.
Người nữ khôn ngoan xây cất nhà mình; Song kẻ ngu dại lấy tay mình mà phá hủy nó đi.
2 [one who] walks In uprightness his [is one] fearing Yahweh and [the] [one who] is crooked of ways his [is] despising him.
Ai đi theo sự ngay thẳng kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va; Còn ai ăn ở tà vạy khinh bỉ Ngài,
3 [is] in [the] mouth of A fool a shoot of pride and [the] lips of wise [people] it preserves them.
Trong miệng kẻ ngu dại có cây roi đánh phạt sự kiêu ngạo nó; Song môi người khôn ngoan giữ lấy người.
4 When there not [are] cattle [the] feeding trough [is] clean and abundance of produce [is] by [the] strength of an ox.
Đâu không có bò, đó máng cỏ trống không; Nhưng nhiều hoa lợi do nơi sức bò đực mà ra.
5 A witness of faithfulness not he tells lies and he may breathe out lies a witness of falsehood.
Người chứng trung thành không hề nói dối; Còn kẻ làm chứng gian buông lời dối trá.
6 He seeks a mocker wisdom and there [is] not and knowledge to a discerning [person] it is trifling.
Kẻ nhạo báng tìm khôn ngoan, mà không gặp; Song sự tri thức lấy làm dễ cho người thông sáng.
7 Go from before to a person a fool and not you have known lips of knowledge.
Hãy dan xa khỏi mặt kẻ ngu muội, Con sẽ chẳng tìm được môi khôn ngoan nơi nó.
8 [the] wisdom of A sensible [person] [is] to understand own way his and [the] foolishness of fools [is] deceit.
Sự trí huệ của người khôn khéo, ấy là hiểu rõ đường lối mình; Nhưng sự điên cuồng của kẻ ngu muội là sự phỉnh gạt.
9 Fools he mocks guilt and [is] between upright [people] favor.
Kẻ ngu dại bỉ báng tội lỗi; Nhưng người ngay thẳng có được ơn của Đức Chúa Trời.
10 A heart [is] knowing [the] bitterness of own self its and in joy its not he shares a stranger.
Lòng nhìn biết sự cay đắng của lòng; Một người ngoại không chia vui với nó được.
11 [the] house of Wicked [people] it will be destroyed and [the] tent of upright [people] it will flourish.
Nhà kẻ gian ác sẽ bị đánh đổ; Song trại người ngay thẳng sẽ được hưng thạnh.
12 There [is] a way right before a person and end its [is the] ways of death.
Có một con đường coi dường chánh đáng cho loài người; Nhưng đến cuối cùng nó thành ra nẻo sự chết.
13 Also in laughter it is in pain a heart and end its joy [may be] grief.
Dầu trong lúc cười cợt lòng vẫn buồn thảm; Và cuối cùng sự vui, ấy là điều sầu não.
14 From ways his he will be satisfied [one] backslidden of heart and from with himself a person good.
Lòng kẻ nào lìa xa Đức Chúa Trời sẽ được no nê sự kết quả của mình; Còn người lành nhờ chính mình mà được thỏa nguyện.
15 A naive person he believes every thing and a sensible [person] he considers step his.
Kẻ ngu dốt tin hết mọi lời; Nhưng người khôn khéo xem xét các bước mình.
16 A wise [person] [is] fearing and [is] turning aside from evil and a fool [is] arrogant and [is] confident.
Người khôn ngoan sợ và tránh khỏi điều ác; Song kẻ ngu muội ở xấc xược, và có lòng cậy mình.
17 [a person] short of Anger he does foolishness and a person of evil devices he is hated.
Người nóng nảy làm điên làm dại; Và kẻ toan mưu ác bị ghét.
18 They inherit naive people foolishness and sensible [people] they surround knowledge.
Kẻ ngu muội được sự điên dại làm cơ nghiệp; Song người khôn ngoan được đội mão triều thiên bằng tri thức.
19 They bow evil [people] before good [people] and wicked [people] at [the] gates of [the] righteous.
Người ác phục trước mặt người thiện; Và kẻ dữ cúi lạy ở ngoài cửa người công bình.
20 Also by neighbor his he is hated a poor [person] and [those who] love [the] rich [are] many.
Người nghèo khó dầu láng giềng cũng ghét bỏ; Nhưng bằng hữu của người giàu thì nhiều thay.
21 [one who] despises Neighbor his [is] sinning and [one who] shows favor to (humble [people] *Q(K)*) how blessed [is] he.
Ai khinh bỉ kẻ lân cận mình phạm tội; Còn ai thương xót người khốn khó lấy làm có phước thay.
22 ¿ Not do they go astray devisers of evil and loyalty and faithfulness devisers of good.
Kẻ toan mưu ác há chẳng lầm lạc sao? Còn nhân từ và chân thật thuộc về người toan mưu thiện.
23 In all hard labor it is profit and word of lips only to poverty.
Trong các thứ công việc đều có ích lợi; Nhưng miệng nói nhiều chỉ dẫn đến sự thiếu thốn.
24 [is the] crown of Wise [people] wealth their [the] folly of fools [is] folly.
Giàu có là mão triều thiên cho người khôn ngoan; Còn điên cuồng của kẻ ngây dại chỉ là điên cuồng.
25 [is] delivering Lives a witness of reliability so he may breathe out lies deceit.
Kẻ làm chứng chân thật giải cứu linh hồn người ta; Song kẻ nào nói dối gây sự phỉnh gạt.
26 [is] in [the] fear of Yahweh confidence of strength and to children his it will belong a refuge.
Trong sự kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va có nơi nương cậy vững chắc; Và con cái Ngài sẽ được một nơi ẩn núp.
27 [the] fear of Yahweh [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from [the] snares of death.
Sự kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va vốn một nguồn sự sống, Đặng khiến người ta tránh khỏi bẫy sự chết.
28 [is] in [the] multitude of A people [the] glory of a king and in not a people [the] ruin of a ruler.
Dân sự đông đảo, ấy là sự vinh hiển của vua; Còn dân sự ít, ấy khiến cho quan tướng bị bại.
29 A [person] long of anger great of understanding and [a person] short of spirit [is] exalting foolishness.
Kẻ nào chậm nóng giận có thông sáng lớn; Nhưng ai hay nóng nảy tôn lên sự điên cuồng.
30 [is] [the] life of Bodies a heart of healing and [is] rottenness of bones jealousy.
Lòng bình tịnh là sự sống của thân thể; Còn sự ghen ghét là đồ mục của xương cốt.
31 [one who] oppresses [the] poor He reproaches maker his and [is] honoring him [one who] shows favor to [the] needy.
Kẻ hà hiếp người nghèo khổ làm nhục Đấng Tạo hóa mình; Còn ai thương xót người bần cùng tôn trọng Ngài.
32 By wickedness his he is pushed down a wicked [person] and [is] seeking refuge in death his a righteous [person].
Kẻ ác bị đánh đổ trong sự gian ác mình; Nhưng kẻ công bình vẫn có nơi nương cậy, dầu trong khi chết.
33 In [the] heart of a discerning [person] it rests wisdom and in [the] inward part[s] of fools it is made known.
Sự khôn ngoan ở tại lòng người thông sáng; Còn điều ở trong lòng kẻ ngu muội được lộ ra.
34 Righteousness it exalts a nation and [is] a shame to a people sin.
Sự công bình làm cho nước cao trọng; Song tội lỗi là sự hổ thẹn cho các dân tộc.
35 [the] favor of A king [belongs] to a servant [who] acts prudently and fury his it belongs [one who] acts shamefully.
Vua làm ơn cho tôi tớ nào ăn ở khôn sáng; Nhưng cơn thạnh nộ vua nổi nghịch cùng kẻ gây sự hổ thẹn.
