Proverbs 14
1 Wise [women] of women she builds house her and a foolish woman with hands her she tears down it.
La femme sage bâtit sa maison, et la femme insensée la renverse de ses propres mains.
2 [one who] walks In uprightness his [is one] fearing Yahweh and [the] [one who] is crooked of ways his [is] despising him.
Celui-là marche dans sa droiture qui craint Yahweh, et celui qui le méprise est pervers dans sa voie.
3 [is] in [the] mouth of A fool a shoot of pride and [the] lips of wise [people] it preserves them.
Dans la bouche de l'insensé est la verge de son orgueil, mais les lèvres des sages les gardent.
4 When there not [are] cattle [the] feeding trough [is] clean and abundance of produce [is] by [the] strength of an ox.
Où il n'y a pas de bœufs, la crèche est vide, mais la vigueur des bœufs procure des revenus abondants.
5 A witness of faithfulness not he tells lies and he may breathe out lies a witness of falsehood.
Le témoin fidèle ne ment pas, mais le faux témoin profère des mensonges.
6 He seeks a mocker wisdom and there [is] not and knowledge to a discerning [person] it is trifling.
Le moqueur cherche la sagesse et ne la trouve pas, mais pour l'homme intelligent la science est facile.
7 Go from before to a person a fool and not you have known lips of knowledge.
Eloigne-toi de l'insensé; car tu sais que la science n'est pas sur ses lèvres.
8 [the] wisdom of A sensible [person] [is] to understand own way his and [the] foolishness of fools [is] deceit.
La sagesse de l'homme prudent est de comprendre sa voie; la folie des insensés, c'est la tromperie.
9 Fools he mocks guilt and [is] between upright [people] favor.
L'insensé se rit du péché, mais parmi les hommes droits est la bienveillance.
10 A heart [is] knowing [the] bitterness of own self its and in joy its not he shares a stranger.
Le cœur connaît ses propres chagrins, et un étranger ne peut partager sa joie.
11 [the] house of Wicked [people] it will be destroyed and [the] tent of upright [people] it will flourish.
La maison des méchants sera détruite, mais la tente des hommes droits fleurira.
12 There [is] a way right before a person and end its [is the] ways of death.
Telle voie paraît droite à un homme, mais son issue, c'est la voie de la mort.
13 Also in laughter it is in pain a heart and end its joy [may be] grief.
Même dans le rire le cœur trouve la douleur, et la joie se termine par le deuil.
14 From ways his he will be satisfied [one] backslidden of heart and from with himself a person good.
L'impie sera rassasié de ses voies, et l'homme de bien de ses fruits.
15 A naive person he believes every thing and a sensible [person] he considers step his.
L'homme simple croit à toute parole, mais l'homme prudent veille sur ses pas.
16 A wise [person] [is] fearing and [is] turning aside from evil and a fool [is] arrogant and [is] confident.
Le sage craint et se détourne du mal, mais l'insensé s'emporte et reste en sécurité.
17 [a person] short of Anger he does foolishness and a person of evil devices he is hated.
L'homme prompt à s'irriter fait des sottises, et le malicieux s'attire la haine.
18 They inherit naive people foolishness and sensible [people] they surround knowledge.
Les simples ont en partage la folie, et les prudents se font de la science une couronne.
19 They bow evil [people] before good [people] and wicked [people] at [the] gates of [the] righteous.
Les méchants s'inclinent devant les bons, et les impies aux portes du juste.
20 Also by neighbor his he is hated a poor [person] and [those who] love [the] rich [are] many.
Le pauvre est odieux même à son ami; mais les amis du riche sont nombreux.
21 [one who] despises Neighbor his [is] sinning and [one who] shows favor to (humble [people] *Q(K)*) how blessed [is] he.
Celui qui méprise son prochain commet un péché; mais heureux celui qui a pitié des malheureux!
22 ¿ Not do they go astray devisers of evil and loyalty and faithfulness devisers of good.
Ne s'égarent-ils pas ceux qui méditent le mal, et la faveur et la vérité ne sont-elles pas pour ceux qui méditent le bien?
23 In all hard labor it is profit and word of lips only to poverty.
Tout travail produit l'abondance, mais les paroles vaines mènent à la disette.
24 [is the] crown of Wise [people] wealth their [the] folly of fools [is] folly.
La richesse est une couronne pour les sages; la folie des insensés est toujours folie.
25 [is] delivering Lives a witness of reliability so he may breathe out lies deceit.
Le témoin véridique délivre des âmes, l'astuce profère des mensonges.
26 [is] in [the] fear of Yahweh confidence of strength and to children his it will belong a refuge.
Celui qui craint Yahweh trouve un appui solide, et ses enfants ont un sûr refuge.
27 [the] fear of Yahweh [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from [the] snares of death.
La crainte de Yahweh est une source de vie, pour échapper aux pièges de la mort.
28 [is] in [the] multitude of A people [the] glory of a king and in not a people [the] ruin of a ruler.
Le peuple nombreux est la gloire du roi; le manque de sujets, c'est la ruine du prince.
29 A [person] long of anger great of understanding and [a person] short of spirit [is] exalting foolishness.
Celui qui est lent à la colère a une grande intelligence; mais celui qui est prompt à s'emporter publie sa folie.
30 [is] [the] life of Bodies a heart of healing and [is] rottenness of bones jealousy.
Un cœur tranquille est la vie du corps, mais l'envie est la carie des os.
31 [one who] oppresses [the] poor He reproaches maker his and [is] honoring him [one who] shows favor to [the] needy.
Celui qui opprime le pauvre outrage celui qui l'a fait; mais il l'honore celui qui a pitié de l'indigent.
32 By wickedness his he is pushed down a wicked [person] and [is] seeking refuge in death his a righteous [person].
Par sa propre malice le méchant est renversé; jusque dans sa mort le juste a confiance.
33 In [the] heart of a discerning [person] it rests wisdom and in [the] inward part[s] of fools it is made known.
Dans le cœur de l'homme intelligent repose la sagesse, et au milieu des insensés on la reconnaît.
34 Righteousness it exalts a nation and [is] a shame to a people sin.
La justice élève une nation, mais le péché est l'opprobre des peuples.
35 [the] favor of A king [belongs] to a servant [who] acts prudently and fury his it belongs [one who] acts shamefully.
La faveur du roi est pour le serviteur intelligent, et sa colère pour celui qui fait honte.
