Proverbs 12
1 [one who] loves Discipline [is] loving knowledge and [one who] hates rebuke [is] stupid.
Wer Mahnung liebt, liebt auch Erkenntnis; wer aber Rüge haßt, ist töricht.
2 A good [person] he obtains favor from Yahweh and a person of evil devices he condemns as guilty.
Der gute Mann erhält vom Herrn, was er für's Leben braucht, der Bauernfänger nur erschwindelt es.
3 Not he is established anyone by wickedness and [the] root of righteous [people] not it is moved.
Kein Mensch kommt zum Bestand durch Frevel; der Frommen Wurzel aber wanket nicht.
4 A wife of ability [is] [the] crown of husband her and [is] like rottenness in bones his a [woman who] acts shamefully.
Ein wackeres Weib ist seinem Gatten eine Krone; ein schändliches ist ihm wie Wurmfraß in den Knochen.
5 [the] plans of Righteous [people] [are] justice [the] counsel of wicked [people] [are] deceit.
Gedanken frommer Leute zielen auf das Recht, der Frevler Pläne auf Betrug.
6 [the] words of Wicked [people] [are] to lie in wait for blood and [the] mouth of upright [people] it delivers them.
Der Frevler Worte stellen selbst dem Blute nach; der Frommen Mund errettet es.
7 [someone] overthrows Wicked [people] and there not [are] they and [the] household of righteous [people] it endures.
Wenn Frevler stürzen, daß sie nicht mehr sind, dann hat der Frommen Haus Bestand.
8 To [the] mouth of prudence his he is praised a person and a [person] perverted of heart he will become contempt.
Gelobt wird nach der Klugheit Maß ein Mann; doch der verschrobenen Verstandes, wird verachtet.
9 [is] good A lightly esteemed [person] and a servant [belongs] to him more than [one who] honors himself and [one] lacking of food.
Weit besser, wer geringen Stands, doch einen Sklaven halten kann, als wer sich vornehm dünkt und brotlos ist.
10 [is] knowing A righteous [person] [the] life of animals his and [the] compassion of wicked [people] [is] cruel.
Der Fromme sorgt sich für sein Vieh, für alles, was ihm not tut; das Herz des Bösen aber ist erbarmungslos.
11 [one who] works Land his he will be satisfied food and [one who] pursues worthless things [is] lacking of heart.
Wer seinen Acker baut, hat Brot in Fülle; wer nichtigen Dingen nachgeht, ist ein Tor.
12 He covets a wicked [person] a net of evil [things] and [the] root of righteous [people] it yields produce.
Der Bösen Höhen ist des Frevlers Wunsch; die Frommen aber gründen tief.
13 [is] in [the] transgression of Lips a snare evil and he came out from trouble a righteous [person].
Durch Widerspruch fängt sich der Frevler; der Not entkommt der Fromme.
14 From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person he will be satisfied good thing[s] and [the] dealing of [the] hands of a person (he will repay *Q(K)*) to him.
Der Edelmann labt sich an schönen Reden; entlohnt wird der Gewöhnliche für seiner Hände Werk.
15 [the] way of A fool [is] right in own eyes his and [one who] listens to advice [is] wise.
Dem Toren scheint sein Weg der richtige; der Weise aber hört auf Rat.
16 A fool on the day it is known anger his and [one who] conceals shame [is] sensible.
Ein Tor läßt seinen Zorn den ganzen Tag durch merken: doch den Verdruß verbirgt der Kluge.
17 He breathes out faithfulness he declares righteousness and a witness of lies deceit.
Wer Wahrheit meldet, spricht, was sich bewährt: ein falscher Zeuge macht Enttäuschung.
18 There [is one who] speaks rashly like thrusts of a sword and [the] tongue of wise [people] [is] healing.
Gar manche führen Reden gleich den Stichen eines Schwerts; doch Heilung bringt des Weisen Zunge.
19 A lip of reliability it will be established for ever and until I will grant rest a tongue of falsehood.
Wahrheitsgemäße Rede hat für immer Geltung; nur einen Augenblick behauptet sich die falsche.
20 Deceit [is] in [the] heart of devisers of evil and [belongs] to counselors of peace joy.
Enttäuschung kommt ins Herz der Unheilplanenden, doch Freude denen, die das Wohlergehen fördern.
21 Not it happens to the righteous any trouble and wicked [people] they are full distress.
Dem Frommen fällt nie Böses ein; die Frevler aber sind voll Bosheit.
22 [are] [the] abomination of Yahweh lips of falsehood and doers of faithfulness [are] delight his.
Ein Greuel für den Herrn sind falsche Lippen; doch die wahrhaftig handeln, sind ihm angenehm.
23 A person sensible [is] concealing knowledge and [the] heart of fools it proclaims foolishness.
Ein kluger Mann verbirgt sein Wissen; das Herz der Toren sprudelt Törichtes hervor.
24 [the] hand of Diligent [people] it will rule (and idleness *L(bah)*) it will become forced labor.
Die Hand der Fleißigen wird herrschen; die lässige wird fronen müssen.
25 Anxiety in [the] heart of a person it bows down it and a word good it makes glad it.
Ein Kummer in des Menschen Herzen drückt es nieder; ein freundlich Wort verwandelt es in Fröhlichkeit.
26 He makes a search from friend his a righteous [person] and [the] way of wicked [people] it misleads them.
Der Fromme sucht und findet seine Nahrung; der Weg der Frevler führt sie irre.
27 Not he roasts idleness game his and [the] wealth of a person precious diligent.
Die Faulheit bringt nicht ihre Nahrung auf, der Fleißige jedoch ein groß Vermögen.
28 [is] in [the] path of Righteousness life and [the] direction of a pathway may not [it be to] death.
Zum Leben kommt man auf der Tugend Pfad; der Weg des Truges führt zum Tode.
