< Proverbs 12 >
1 [one who] loves Discipline [is] loving knowledge and [one who] hates rebuke [is] stupid.
Whoso loveth knowledge loveth correction; but he that is brutish hateth reproof.
2 A good [person] he obtains favor from Yahweh and a person of evil devices he condemns as guilty.
A good man shall obtain favour of the LORD; but a man of wicked devices will He condemn.
3 Not he is established anyone by wickedness and [the] root of righteous [people] not it is moved.
A man shall not be established by wickedness; but the root of the righteous shall never be moved.
4 A wife of ability [is] [the] crown of husband her and [is] like rottenness in bones his a [woman who] acts shamefully.
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband; but she that doeth shamefully is as rottenness in his bones.
5 [the] plans of Righteous [people] [are] justice [the] counsel of wicked [people] [are] deceit.
The thoughts of the righteous are right; but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6 [the] words of Wicked [people] [are] to lie in wait for blood and [the] mouth of upright [people] it delivers them.
The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood; but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
7 [someone] overthrows Wicked [people] and there not [are] they and [the] household of righteous [people] it endures.
The wicked are overthrown, and are not; but the house of the righteous shall stand.
8 To [the] mouth of prudence his he is praised a person and a [person] perverted of heart he will become contempt.
A man shall be commended according to his intelligence; but he that is of a distorted understanding shall be despised.
9 [is] good A lightly esteemed [person] and a servant [belongs] to him more than [one who] honors himself and [one] lacking of food.
Better is he that is lightly esteemed, and hath a servant, than he that playeth the man of rank, and lacketh bread.
10 [is] knowing A righteous [person] [the] life of animals his and [the] compassion of wicked [people] [is] cruel.
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast; but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
11 [one who] works Land his he will be satisfied food and [one who] pursues worthless things [is] lacking of heart.
He that tilleth his ground shall have plenty of bread; but he that followeth after vain things is void of understanding.
12 He covets a wicked [person] a net of evil [things] and [the] root of righteous [people] it yields produce.
The wicked desireth the prey of evil men; but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
13 [is] in [the] transgression of Lips a snare evil and he came out from trouble a righteous [person].
In the transgression of the lips is a snare to the evil man; but the righteous cometh out of trouble.
14 From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person he will be satisfied good thing[s] and [the] dealing of [the] hands of a person (he will repay *Q(K)*) to him.
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the doings of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
15 [the] way of A fool [is] right in own eyes his and [one who] listens to advice [is] wise.
The way of a fool is straight in his own eyes; but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsel.
16 A fool on the day it is known anger his and [one who] conceals shame [is] sensible.
A fool's vexation is presently known; but a prudent man concealeth shame.
17 He breathes out faithfulness he declares righteousness and a witness of lies deceit.
He that breatheth forth truth uttereth righteousness; but a false witness deceit.
18 There [is one who] speaks rashly like thrusts of a sword and [the] tongue of wise [people] [is] healing.
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword; but the tongue of the wise is health.
19 A lip of reliability it will be established for ever and until I will grant rest a tongue of falsehood.
The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20 Deceit [is] in [the] heart of devisers of evil and [belongs] to counselors of peace joy.
Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil; but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
21 Not it happens to the righteous any trouble and wicked [people] they are full distress.
There shall no mischief befall the righteous; but the wicked are filled with evil.
22 [are] [the] abomination of Yahweh lips of falsehood and doers of faithfulness [are] delight his.
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD; but they that deal truly are His delight.
23 A person sensible [is] concealing knowledge and [the] heart of fools it proclaims foolishness.
A prudent man concealeth knowledge; but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
24 [the] hand of Diligent [people] it will rule (and idleness *L(bah)*) it will become forced labor.
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful shall be under tribute.
25 Anxiety in [the] heart of a person it bows down it and a word good it makes glad it.
Care in the heart of a man boweth it down; but a good word maketh it glad.
26 He makes a search from friend his a righteous [person] and [the] way of wicked [people] it misleads them.
The righteous is guided by his friend; but the way of the wicked leadeth them astray.
27 Not he roasts idleness game his and [the] wealth of a person precious diligent.
The slothful man shall not hunt his prey; but the precious substance of men is to be diligent.
28 [is] in [the] path of Righteousness life and [the] direction of a pathway may not [it be to] death.
In the way of righteousness is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
