< Proverbs 11 >

1 Scales of deceit [are] [the] abomination of Yahweh and a weight perfect [is] pleasure his.
Ratiri itarĩ cia ma nĩ kĩndũ kĩrĩ magigi harĩ Jehova, no nĩakenagĩra mahiga ma gũthima marĩa maigananu.
2 It comes pride and it came shame and [is] with modest [people] wisdom.
Rĩrĩa mwĩtĩĩo woka, ũrũmagĩrĩrwo nĩ thoni, no kwĩnyiihia kũrehaga ũũgĩ.
3 [the] integrity of Upright [people] it guides them and [the] crookedness of treacherous [people] (it destroys them. *Q(K)*)
Ũrũngĩrĩru wa arĩa marũgamĩte wega nĩũmonagĩrĩria njĩra, no andũ arĩa matarĩ ehokeku, nĩmanangagwo nĩ ũhinga wao.
4 Not it profits wealth in [the] day of fury and righteousness it delivers from death.
Ũtonga ndũrĩ kĩguni mũthenya wa mangʼũrĩ, no ũthingu nĩũkũũraga mũndũ kuuma kũrĩ gĩkuũ.
5 [the] righteousness of A blameless [person] it makes straight way his and by wickedness his he falls a wicked [person].
Ũthingu wa andũ arĩa matarĩ na ũcuuke ũmathondekagĩra njĩra nũngarũ, no andũ arĩa aaganu magũithagio nĩ waganu wao ene.
6 [the] righteousness of Upright [people] it delivers them and by [the] craving of treacherous [people] they are caught.
Ũthingu wa andũ arĩa arũngĩrĩru nĩũmahonokagia, no andũ arĩa matarĩ ehokeku nĩmategagwo nĩ merirĩria mao mooru.
7 At [the] death of a person wicked it is lost hope and [the] hope of strength it perishes.
Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa mũndũ mwaganu aakua, kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro gĩake nĩgũthira gĩthiraga; kĩrĩa gĩothe eerĩgĩrĩire kuuma kũrĩ ũhoti wake gĩtuĩkaga o tũhũ.
8 A righteous [person] from distress [is] delivered and he came a wicked [person] in place his.
Mũndũ ũrĩa mũthingu nĩahonokagio kuuma thĩĩna-inĩ, naguo ũgaacookerera ũrĩa mwaganu.
9 By [the] mouth a godless [person] he ruins neighbor his and by knowledge righteous [people] they are delivered.
Mũndũ ũtetigĩrĩte Ngai nĩanangaga mũndũ wa itũũra na kanua gake, no arĩa athingu nĩmetharaga nĩ ũndũ wa ũmenyo.
10 In [the] prosperity of righteous [people] it rejoices a town and when perish wicked [people] a shout of joy.
Rĩrĩa andũ arĩa athingu magaacĩra, itũũra nĩgũkena rĩkenaga; rĩrĩa andũ arĩa aaganu maathira, nĩkũrũhio kũrũũhagio.
11 By [the] blessing of upright [people] it is exalted a town and by [the] mouth of wicked [people] it is torn down.
Itũũra inene nĩrĩtũũgagĩrio nĩ ũndũ wa kĩrathimo kĩa andũ arĩa arũngĩrĩru, no nĩrĩanangagwo nĩ kanua ka andũ arĩa aaganu.
12 [one who] despises Neighbor his [is] lacking of heart and a person of understanding he keeps quiet.
Mũndũ ũtarĩ ũũgĩ wa gũkũũrana maũndũ anyũrũragia mũndũ wa itũũra rĩake, no mũndũ ũrĩ na ũtaũku nĩ gwĩkirĩra ekiragĩra.
13 [one who] goes about A slanderer [is] revealing a secret and a [person] faithful of spirit [is] concealing a matter.
Mũndũ wa mũhuhu nĩoimagia ndeto cia ndundu nja, no mũndũ mwĩhokeku nĩaigaga hitho.
14 When there not [are] wise directions it falls a people and victory [is] in a multitude of counselor[s].
Bũrũri ũngĩaga ũtongoria mwega nĩkũgũa ũgũũaga, no ataarani aingĩ matũmaga kũgĩe na ũhootani kũna.
15 Harm he is harmed for he stood surety for a stranger and [one who] hates those striking hands [is] secure.
Mũndũ ũrĩa ũrũgamagĩrĩra thiirĩ wa mũndũ ũngĩ ti-itherũ nĩagathĩĩnĩka, no mũndũ ũrĩa wothe wagaga kũrũgamĩrĩra mũndũ thiirĩ atũũraga na thayũ.
16 A woman of grace she lays hold of honor and ruthless [people] they take hold of wealth.
Mũndũ-wa-nja mũtaana nĩegĩagĩra gĩtĩĩo, no arũme arĩa matarĩ tha no ũtonga magĩaga naguo.
17 [is] dealing bountifully with Self his a person of loyalty and [is] troubling body his a cruel [person].
Mũndũ mũtaana egunaga we mwene, no mũndũ ũtarĩ tha erehagĩra thĩĩna we mwene.
18 A wicked [person] [is] making wage[s] of falsehood and [one who] sows righteousness wage[s] of truth.
Mũndũ mwaganu athũkũmaga mũcaara wa kũmũheenia, no ũrĩa ũhaandaga ũthingu nĩagethaga irĩhi rĩa ma.
19 True righteousness [is] to life and [one who] pursues evil [is] to own death his.
Mũndũ ũrĩa mũthingu kũna nĩagatũũra muoyo, no mũndũ ũrĩa ũrũmagĩrĩra waganu nĩ gũkua agaakua.
20 [are] [the] abomination of Yahweh perverse [people] of heart and [are] pleasure his [people] blameless of way.
Andũ arĩa marĩ ngoro ya rũtũrĩko nĩ kĩndũ kĩrĩ magigi harĩ Jehova, no nĩakenagio nĩ andũ arĩa njĩra ciao itarĩ ũcuuke.
21 Hand to hand not he will go unpunished an evil [person] and [the] offspring of righteous [people] he will be delivered.
Ti-itherũ mũndũ mwaganu ndakaaga kũherithio, no andũ arĩa athingu nĩmakahonokio.
22 A ring of gold in [the] nose of a pig a woman beautiful and [who] turns aside from discernment.
Mũndũ-wa-nja mũthaka ũtarĩ ũgereri ahaana ta gĩcũhĩ gĩa thahabu kĩrĩ iniũrũ-inĩ rĩa ngũrwe.
23 [the] desire of Righteous [people] only [is] good [the] hope of wicked [people] [is] fury.
Wendi wa mũndũ mũthingu ũrĩkagĩrĩria o wega-inĩ, no kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro kĩa mũndũ ũrĩa mwaganu kĩrĩĩkagĩrĩria mangʼũrĩ-inĩ.
24 There [is one who] scatters and [who is] increased still and [one who] withholds from uprightness only to poverty.
Kũrĩ mũndũ ũheanaga na ũtaana, nake agakĩrĩrĩria kũgĩa na indo; ũngĩ atuĩkaga mũkarĩ mũno, no agathiĩ o na mbere gũthĩĩna.
25 A person of blessing he will be made fat and [one who] gives water also he he will be given water.
Mũndũ mũtaana nĩakagaacĩra; ũrĩa ũnyootoraga arĩa angĩ o nake mwene nĩakanyootorwo.
26 [one who] withholds Grain they curse him a people and a blessing [belongs] to [the] head of [one who] sells grain.
Mũndũ ũrĩa ũregaga kwenderia andũ mbembe iria aigĩte nĩarumagwo nĩ andũ, no mũndũ ũrĩa ũciendagia, kĩrathimo kĩrĩkoragwo mũtwe-inĩ wake.
27 [one who] seeks diligently Good he seeks favor and [one who] seeks carefully evil it will come to him.
Mũndũ ũrĩa ũcaragia maũndũ mega arĩonaga o wega, no ũrĩa ũcaragia maũndũ mooru no mo marĩmũkoraga.
28 [one who] trusts In wealth his he he will fall and like leaf righteous [people] they will bud.
Mũndũ ũrĩa wothe wĩhokaga ũtonga wake nĩkũgũa akaagũa, no arĩa athingu makaagaacĩra ta ithangũ rĩrĩa iruru.
29 [one who] troubles Household his he will inherit wind and [will be] a servant a fool of [the] wise of heart.
Mũndũ ũrĩa ũnyamaragia mũciĩ wake akaagaya o rũhuho, nake mũndũ mũkĩĩgu agaatuĩka ndungata ya ũrĩa mũũgĩ.
30 [the] fruit of [the] righteous [is] a tree of Life and [one who] takes people [is] wise.
Maciaro ma andũ arĩa athingu nĩ mũtĩ wa muoyo, nake mũndũ ũrĩa mũũgĩ nĩaguucagĩrĩria ngoro cia andũ.
31 There! a righteous [person] on the earth he is rewarded indeed? for a wicked [person] and a sinner.
Angĩkorwo andũ arĩa athingu nĩmarĩhagwo marĩ gũkũ thĩ-rĩ, githĩ arĩa matetigĩrĩte Ngai na arĩa ehia matikarĩhwo makĩria!
