Obadiah 1
1 [the] vision of Obadiah thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh of Edom a report we have heard from with Yahweh and an envoy among the nations he has been sent arise so let us arise on it for battle.
Widzenie Abdyjaszowe. Tak mówi panujący Pan o ziemi Edomskiej: Słyszeliśmy wieść od Pana i od posła wysłanego do narodów: Ruszcie się, a powstańmy przeciwko niemu ku bitwie,
2 Here! small I will make you among the nations [will be] despised you exceedingly.
Oto cię maluczkim uczynię między narodami, ty będziesz bardzo wzgardzony.
3 [the] presumption of Heart your it has deceived you O dweller in clefts of rock [the] height of dwelling his [who] says in heart his who? will he bring down me [the] ground.
Pycha serca twego zdradziła cię, o ty! który mieszkasz w rozpadlinach skalnych, w wysokiem mieszkaniu twojem, który mówisz w sercu swojem: Któż mię na ziemię ściągnie?
4 If you will make high like eagle and if between [the] stars [will be] set nest your from there I will bring down you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Choćbyś się wywyższył jako orzeł, owszem, choćbyś między gwiazdami położył gniazdo twoje, i stamtąd cię stargnę, mówi Pan.
5 If thieves they came to you if destroyers of night how! you will be destroyed ¿ not will they steal sufficiency their if grape gatherers they came to you ¿ not will they leave gleanings.
O jakożeś zniszczony! Izaliż złodzieje przyszli na cię? Izali zbójcy nocni? Izaliby kradli nad potrzebę swoję? Gdyby ci na cię przyszli, co wino zbierają, izaliby nie zostawili którego grona?
6 How! they will be plundered Esau they will be searched out hidden treasures its.
Jakoż wyszpiegowane są skarby Ezaw, a wynalezione są skryte rzeczy jego.
7 To the border they will send away you all [the] men of covenant your they will deceive you they will prevail to you [the] men of peace your food your they will set a trap under you there not [is] understanding in him.
Aż do granicy wypchną cię wszyscy, z którymi masz przymierze; zdradzą cię, moc wezmą nad tobą ci, z którymi masz pokój; którzy chleb twój jedzą, ranęć zdradliwie zadadzą, tak, iż się nie obaczysz.
8 ¿ Not on the day that ([the] utterance of *L(abh)*) Yahweh and I will destroy wise [people] from Edom and understanding from [the] mountain of Esau.
Izali dnia onego, mówi Pan, nie wytracę mędrców z Edom, a roztropnych z góry Ezawa?
9 And they will be dismayed warriors your O Teman so that he may be cut off everyone from [the] mountain of Esau from slaughter.
I ulękną się mocarze twoi, o Temanie! dlatego, że porażeni będąc wygubieni będą wszyscy z góry Ezawa.
10 From [the] violence of brother your Jacob it will cover you shame and you will be cut off for ever.
Dla bezprawia bratu twemu Jakóbowi uczynionego hańba cię okryje, a wykorzeniony będziesz na wieki.
11 On [the] day standing you from before on [the] day took captive strangers wealth his and foreigners they came (gates his *Q(K)*) and on Jerusalem they cast a lot also you [were] like one from them.
Stałeś dnia onego naprzeciwko, dnia onego, gdy cudzy imali wojsko jego, i gdy cudzoziemcy wchodzili w bramy jego, a o Jeruzalem los miotali, tyś też był jako jeden z nich.
12 And may not you look on [the] day of brother your on [the] day of misfortune his and may not you rejoice to [the] people of Judah on [the] day perish they and may not you make big mouth your on [the] day of trouble.
Nie patrzże tedy na dzień brata swego, na dzień pojmania jego; ani się wesel nad synami Judzkimi w dzień zginienia ich, ani hardzie mów usty swemi w dzień ucisku.
13 May not you go in [the] gate of people my on [the] day of disaster their may not you look also you on calamity his on [the] day of disaster his and may not you stretch out on wealth his on [the] day of disaster his.
Nie wchodź w bramę ludu mego w dzień utrapienia ich, ani patrz na złe jego w dzień doległości jego, ani ściągaj ręki swej na majętność jego, w dzień skruszenia jego;
14 And may not you stand at the parting of ways to cut off fugitives his and may not you deliver up survivors his on [the] day of trouble.
Ani stój na rozstaniu dróg, abyś zatracał tych, którzy z nich uchodzą; ani podawaj nieprzyjacielowi w moc tych, którzy z nich zostali w dzień ucisku.
15 For [is] near [the] day of Yahweh on all the nations just as you have done it will be done to you recompense your it will return on own head your.
Bo bliski jest dzień Pański przeciwko tym wszystkim narodom; jakoś uczynił, tak ci się stanie, nagroda twoja obróci się na głowę twoję.
16 For just as you have drunk on [the] mountain of holiness my they will drink all the nations continually and they will drink and they will swallow and they will be like not they had been.
Bo ponieważ wy pić będziecie na górze mojej świętej, tak pić będą wszystkie narody; ustawicznie, mówię, pić i pożerać będą, aż się staną, jakoby ich nie było.
17 And on [the] mountain of Zion it will be deliverance and it will be a holy place and they will take possession of [the] house Jacob possessions their.
A na górze Syon będzie wybawienie, a ta góra będzie święta, i posiędzie dom Jakóbowy osiadłości swe.
18 And it will be [the] house of Jacob a fire and [the] house of Joseph [will be] a flame and [the] house of Esau [will become] stubble and they will burn them and they will consume them and not he will belong a survivor to [the] house of Esau for Yahweh he has spoken.
I stanie się dom Jakóbowy ogniem, a dom Józefowy płomieniem, dom zaś Ezawowy ścierniskiem; i rozpali się na nich, i strawi ich, a nikt nie zostanie z domu Ezawowego; bo Pan to mówił.
19 And they will take possession of the Negev [the] mountain of Esau and the Shephelah Philistines and they will take possession of [the] region of Ephraim and [the] region of Samaria and Benjamin Gilead.
A tak odziedziczą krainę południową z górą Ezawa, i równinę z Filistyńczykami; posiędą też krainę Efraimową, i krainę Samaryi, i Benjaminową i Galaadską.
20 And [the] exile[s] of the fortress this of [the] people of Israel who [will be] Canaanites to Zarephath and [the] exile[s] of Jerusalem who [are] in Sepharad they will take possession of [the] cities of the Negev.
A zaprowadzeni w niewolę tego wojska synów Izraelskich posiędą to, co było Chananejczyków aż do Sarepty; a zaprowadzeni w niewolę Jeruzalemczyków posiędą to, co jest na końcu państwa, posiędą z miastami na południe.
21 And they will go up deliverers on [the] mountain of Zion to rule [the] mountain of Esau and it will belong to Yahweh the kingship.
I wstąpią wybawiciele na górę Syon, aby sądzili górę Ezawa; a tak będzie królestwo samego Pana.
